I was driving by and though this would be an interesting place to check out and it turned into a real treat! Very nice bakery on one side and a restaurant on the other. We had the Salvadoran Breakfast and it was excellent with a great pupusa. Also tried out several baked items and all were fresh and super delicious. My favorite was a meringue in the shape of a rabbit. :). This place is also recently remodeled and is a beautiful spot. The service was friendly but it is not set up for those that do not speak Spanish. They are super nice but just a bit of Spanish will take you a long way. Please know the effort is worth it!

Glad we finally tried this local bakery. Delicious food, great variety of options! My first time trying pupusas (the bar is set high now). Quick, friendly service as well. Can't wait to return and try more food and bakery items!

Recently came in for some bread and was amazed with the remodel. They have separate lines for the bread orders and food orders. Service is fast and friendly and bakery is very clean.

Heart conchas are $2.50 each a little pricey but did have a good flavor and soft. Walk in picking all types of sweet bread our told was like $60. Valentine cookies are delicious.

The influx of immigrants from Central America has graced us with El Salvadorian, Honduran and Guatemalan restaurants. This delightful eatery is, obviously, one of the latter. Service is cafeteria style and none of the servers in the line the morning I was there spoke English. That wasn't an issue as I could order pollo en mole y dos tamales in my awful Spanish. The problem when she asked "here or to go". Thankfully a guy in line next to me helped me out. The chicken was tender and mole sweet, spicy and delicious. The black beans were savory and the rice was fluffy. The tamales were a Guatemalan version and they were fantastic. I can't recall the cost of my giant horchata, but it was reasonably priced and paired well with my meal. Seating is spartan, but this not a place you to dine. This is a place you go to eat delicious food at a reasonable price. There is a on the left side as you enter with the bakery and various items like Guatemalan soda and snacks. I think I was the only non-Hispanic in there and that is wrong. More, different people should be enjoying this food.

Closest thing here in Texas that I've had to my moms authentic Guatemalan cooking. It was pretty good! I'm impressed! I will definitely be going back!

The best conchas I've tried so far. The customer service is amazing. I'll be going back. I appreciate the people for helping me there.

They even have a ton of children's highchairs if you want to bring your family. Now for the sweet treats, this place has the widest variety of cheesecakes I've seen in the area! The employees were friendly and fast! They boxed up my cakes before I was even done paying. If you like cheesecake, this is your place! I'll admit I'm not a huge cheesecake person so I opted for the strawberry tart and matcha tiramisu to share with my husband. I also got a citron cookie but I didn't love it. My husband really enjoyed it though! Every single piece is beautiful and fully loaded with tasty toppings. I will say the pieces are generous for the price at just under $10 a slice. They are BIG. The strawberry's and cream were delicious. Strawberries were super fresh and still crunchy. I really enjoyed the matcha tiramisu as it was really flavorful and not too sweet. Their cream is really good. Very light and creamy. I can't wait to return and try either the black sesame or melon tart.
