He was able to fill all cavities in my wisdom teeth which my last dentist (in Pasadena) had said were too far for him to reach and would suggest me pulling out. Dr. Nova filled 3 difficult and deep cavities in the amount of time it would take my last dentist to fill 1. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I had not found his office! I will share my experience and let the readers determine if Dr. Nova and Dr. Raffie are good. I came to Dr Nova for second opinion because I read in reviews that he had a conservative approach and would not push extraction and implant before trying other treatments. He understood my concerns and agreed to do filling for one tooth. Explaining that it may need root canal. It didn't work and after 2 months , he did root canal. No pain and it looked perfect in x ray. There are many things I like about him - 1. he is patient and spends time to explain, not just verbally but will point out in the x ray or show pics online. He even showed me model in his office when I asked how thick is crown to be put after root canal. 2. He made me feel at ease taking away the fear of dentist or dental work with his convincing words. 3. He remembered my case like back of his hand. When I talked to him on phone, he knew my case. 4. He personally talked to me every time I called for any question instead of the office lady. 5. He enjoys his work and made me feel he was doing everything possible that was best for me. 6. He followed up with me a day or two after every procedure to make sure I was ok. Now, Dr. Raffie Garabedian ( Periodontist) I was skeptical at first because I couldn't find any reviews online but Dr Nova convinced me that I was in safe hands. 1. Dr. Raffie took out my wisdom tooth with ease. His strong and skilled hands is what you want. 2. He did implant for another tooth which looks perfect in x-ray. No pain during process or afterwards. 3. He is patient when asked questions and spent all the time I needed, including showing on x ray and real pictures to explain. I think I have taken more of both doctors time asking questions and getting clarifications than time spent on treatments. They gave discounts for my implant. Now the office staff: 1. Alenoosh has always picked my calls , some times while she was driving. She is great with follow ups and reminders. 2. Other staff have been professional and easy to interact with during all my procedures. I recommend this office, especially if you want to start with conservative treatment and patient doctors who take time to explain. read more

So I just want to say that Dr. Nova literally saved my teeth. The doctor that I use to have messed up my teeth and left me in pain. I have been with Dr. Nova for the past 3 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his practice. I now recommend him to all of my family and friends. I heard about Nova Aghbashian DDS Office from a few of my coworkers. I was looking for a dentist here after I moved to Glendale, and my first experiences with them went so well that i felt like sharing. First of all, they are conveniently located, down on Central Ave and Glenoaks Ave, only a few blocks from my job with ample free patients parking. I requested an appointment over the phone and I was scheduled immediately. A warm and welcoming phone call tells you a lot about their excellent customer service. So far, I had a great impression. On the day of my appointment, I was welcomed by the front desk. Everything went smoothly and the comfortable atmosphere put me at ease... I get kind of nervous going to the dentist I met with Dr. Aghbashian. I came in for a check up and to schedule a cleaning that was overdue. On top of being very nice and caring, he is such a professional and I really trust his diagnosis. I was worried about cavities, I tend not to floss as often as I should, and didn't get a cleaning in a year after moving and the irrational fear of the dentist. His diagnosis revealed that my teeth were healthy and in great condition and he also gave me advice on teeth whitening, which I am considering to get done there in the coming week.
