Monster carrot cake.

The food was okay and not a "wow" factor. The texture, flavor, and experience were okay. The prices are fair for that reason. I heard great things so I would give this place another shot. The server was kind and easy-going. My husband spilled his water/ice and they didn't wipe the table down completely. The edges of the pasta plates were dirty. Ambience was nice for a date night!

The hospitality is great here. They offer an authentic Italian food here. I have to come back and try their carpaccio. Pasta was great. It was seasoned perfectly. Seafood was cooked to perfection. I need to come back!

Bread with the cheese on it

Went here on Feb 7 for a birthday and the experience was awesome. Great food, bread, and drinks. Our waiter was very nice and our food turned out to be very delicious! The resturant wasn't loud and looked very clean! At the party's table, we got olive oil and shredded cheese with some bread to go with it. Very good. I ordered the Lemonade and it also tasted very nice. Then I got the Alfredo pasta with the chicken as the protein and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely would come back.

HOW IS THE AVERAGE STARS FOR THIS 3.4?!?! As soon as I walked into Agio I instantly knew I was about to have a 5 star experience. This bistro is beautifully decorated and up to date. It is small and locally owned with extremely comfortable booths, standard dining seating, a bar area and an outdoor patio. Wherever seated - the view is stunning. The attention to detail in the decor is impossible to miss. I was here for a weekday dinner and by 6pm the place was jam packed (on a Wednesday). I highly recommend making a reservation even if dining in during the week. Service throughout was great. As soon as my friend and I were seated, water and table bread were brought over to us. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive. He was quick to put in drink/food orders and checked in on us a few times throughout the evening. We were in and out within 2 hours and did not feel rushed at all. For drinks I ordered a french martini. It was delicious, light and refreshing. My friend ordered a red blend, which I tried, and it was REALLL good. Their wine selection is top notch and you can't go wrong with whatever you order. For food we started with the antipasto platter. It came with 3 different cheese, artichokes, olives, peppers and a few meat options as well. I wouldn't order this again however I am glad that I tried it. For my entrée I had the pan seared flounder and WOWWWW. The portion was generous and I ate the entire thing. I am the type of person who usually has lots of lefts overs, but this was waaaaay too good to not finish in 1 sitting. The flavors were light and refreshing while the fish was cooked perfectly. I had absolutely no room for dessert...but.... We ordered the GINORMOUS slice of carrot cake. I thought the cake was delicious, a bit dry, but very good!

We came here on a Friday night with reservations, and the place was definitely filling up. This is our first time here, and we've driven past it so many times! The owner was manning the check-in booth, and he was extremely friendly. Our waiter was also welcoming. We asked for recommendations, and they gave us a ton of really good options. We were told that most of the pasta is made from scratch. We got the chicken Parm, and the short rib. Those were both really good dishes that we would get again. Looking forward to coming back here !

Everybody should check this place out. They had a special with a fish and lobster sauce. It was so so delicious. I am so amazed by it. Their veal Marcella was really good. I am not a tiramisu fan, but there's is the most delicious I've ever had.!!! We will be back!!

Very average, poorly presented food, lackluster service, and boring ambiance. The prices are reasonable, but you get what you pay for.

Food was good, a bit pricy though for what you get. Hadn't anticipated a $8 corkage fee for a twist top bottle of wine.

This winery is a gem in Long Grove! I'm up from FL visiting my brother and some friends. My brother…read moreand I love wine so he brought me here. Karen was our host and she was absolutely delightful. I really appreciated hearing her candid thoughts on the wines. We followed her recommendations. The reserve Cabernet $55 was delicious and very fruit forward just like you would expect from a Paso Robles Cabernet. It was perfectly dry with a robust body. We brought a bottle home and did a blind taste test with other Paso Robles Cabernets. It won! We also had bread sticks and olives. The property is lovely. It makes for a great ambiance.

The bar can get very crowded and you can get a bottle to sit somewhere but it's a little hit or miss (depending on how busy) with if someone will serve you or if you have to go back up. The last time we were there service was really spotty and they were entertaining a very large crowd by the bar so that was the priority. Also, like all businessss in Long Grove, they can dictate their own schedule depending on how busy it is. We ended up coming in on a Friday night and were told they were closing even though posted hours said they should be open another hour.

It's very peaceful, romantic and a calm atmosphere. All of the food was delicious. The plating is so attractive! The dishes have great flavor but are healthier options. The portion sizes were perfect for what we desired. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best branzino I've ever had. The skin was crunchy and delicious. But the fish was not dry at all! There's nothing better than a juicy branzino fish and chef Jose nailed it! Matching with the sauce and beans was so much better than any other veggies or starch. The octopus was also cooked to perfection. The flavor and temperature was just right. Not too hot and such a great texture. We don't always order desserts but we had to see every course of the menu. We decided to go with a lava cake and it did not disappoint. It had that perfect contrast of hot and cold but it's served with gelato which gives it a nice touch of texture compared to standard ice cream. Chef Jose came out and introduced himself. We came in because we were enticed by a beef tartare that was on their menu in the past. We're hoping he brings it back on a special sometime soon. He said to give him a call and he'll try to accommodate whenever possible to make his customers happy. What an amazing restaurant. We cannot wait to come back and see what's new. Thank you for an amazing dinner and night!
