Stay away!!! Not only is it not the best Italian restaurant in Wellington it's just bad Italian food. It's gimmicky too as you can mix and match pastas and protein. Thats not how it's done, just give me your version of Italian dishes. Food is also bland. The only positive was the calamari app. Also they water down the vodka here. I returned my Martini twice. I gave up. I didn't complain about the food, I just wanted to leave. The manager picked up that we were dissatisfied with the food, and came to the table. All he really said was, do you see how many people are here, so it must be good. My response ok. In general food in Wellington is really bad. You have to drive up to Jupiter for good food. I found this place through yelp as I needed a west side venue. I was nervous about my choice as we would be meeting friends. They don't take reservations which I found out when a called mid week, but they were nice enough to put us on their call ahead list. On a Saturday night in February they were packed, but after dining there, I imagine they are always busy. The only negative beside no reservations, is that it's a bit loud -- so this is not the place for an intimate dinner conversation. That being said everything was wonderful service and food wise from start to finish. Even sitting at the bar while waiting for our table to be ready was pleasant. The server was friendly and they had a decent wine by the glass list with reasonable prices. At the table, our service was great. Water right away, then garlic bread. A carafe of ice water. Drinks as needed. Refills timely. Orders take promptly. Salad and soup out fairly fast. We were checked on frequently before, during and after our entrees. Plates were cleared as needed, etc etc. We were impressed especially as it was so busy. A huge house salad came family style in a big bowl for the table. The mixed salad was quite good -- we liked the light vinaigrette dressing so much we all had seconds. The garlic bread was warm and in bite size pieces. I ordered chicken fracesca -- a large chicken breast coated in an egg batter in a lemony sauce. With your entree, you can also choose your choice of home made pasta and your choice of sauce. I chose angel hair with the same lemon sauce that was on my chicken. Both the chicken and pasta were quite good. The portion was large and I took more than half home. Our friends chose sausage and peppers as an entree with penne pasta with a tomato sauce. And eggplant parmigiana with angel hair pasta. My husband had linguine with Sunday gravy. The "gravy" had 3 meats in a tomato based sauce including meat balls and sausage. We all had to get take home boxes. Everyone really liked their meals. For dessert, we shared one large piece of rich and creamy tiramisu. One of the better versions I've had. It was enough for each of us to have several bites as we were all so full, but we wanted a touch of something sweet. The best part was the bill. For so much very good food, we couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were. We've paid a lot more in fancier venues for smaller portions of so so dinners. Now we know why they are so busy. And why they are rated so highly. And we are already planning our return visit. read more

I was so excited to try this place. We went late on a Sunday night. We had reservations and got right in. That was our first mistake. Go outside, wait the extra time. It is SO loud inside. My daughter was uncomfortable. I will say that the food was pretty good. The crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The fried cheese was OK. The menu is a bit overwhelming. There are hundreds of combinations. The second mistake we made was to order a bottle of wine, thinking we would sit back and enjoy it. The place is running at 100 miles per hour. While I appreciate needing good turnover, it was getting ridiculous. We were literally getting bumped into by staff that were trying to clear plates, deliver things, and everything else. I don't hold it against the staff at all, It all just needed to be dialed back a few notches. Like don't worry about one turnovers worth of table and just take a breath. I appreciate that the food came out so quickly but we literally left a quarter bottle of wine because we were rushed through so fast. It felt like we needed to leave. Had an amazing dinner with the family this week. We sat in the cozy front corner, so while the place was humming we could hear each other, a must for our aging parents' hearing! I love the build your own pasta dish menu. I had linguini with the Sunday Gravy, mushrooms and grilled eggplant. I greatly appreciated the freshly made pasta and the sauce was some of the finest I have ever had. I compared the meal to ones I have had at Mario Battali's restaurants in the Village and Vegas. Gotta throw some love to my favorite, family owned restaurant. They have adapted, during these new COVID times, with an easy and efficient curbside pick up. We have ordered 4 times already from curbside. Gotta keep this great restaurant and their staff, on their feet. The eggplant rollatini, eggplant parm and pastabilities travel well. Just as yummy as in the restaurant. Oh, and say hi to our favorite waiter, Kyle. He's busting his tail on curbside pickup. They even have a box of "clean pens" and "used pens" for customers to use. After 13 years in South Florida, we've found what we were looking for, Agiolio in Wellinton. Carly was our server, she was great on every level of service. She stated proudly the number of years she has worked there and to her credit she is great at what she does. Last night was the second time I've been to Agliolio, and for the second time I was not disappointed. The food is fresh and you can even taste that it is fresh, with a menu that you're bound to find and make something you will truly love. For an appetizer we had the fried mozzarella that was absolutely amazing! It was definitely the best that I have had. As an entree, I had the chicken parmigiana with pomodoro sauce, the spiral noodles, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers, sundried tomato, and spinach! YUM! My friend has the baked lasagna that was also super yummy. Our dessert was also great! We had the chocolate lasagna. The serving was huge so we couldn't finish it, but it's enough for four people! Our waitress, Amy, was super sweet and was there to answer any questions and constantly checked up on us to ensure everything was okay and if we needed anything. This is probably my favorite Italian restaurant of all time. It just happens to be located about 5 miles from my home which makes it really great for me as our regular stop probably about twice a month and we just love it. It's a small restaurant and it seems to always be full if there's any downside to it it's quite loud. Most Italians would think that that shows the sign of a good restaurant packed full and lots annoys everyone enjoying themselves. Last night I ordered one of my favorite dishes egg plant Parmesan with homemade fresh spinach linguine and fra diavolo sauce. The sauce is the spicy Italian red tomato sauce which to me is one of their best. They actually make seven or eight different small batch sauces all completely different and wonderfully crafted. We always order Pastabilities, which is a creation of your own. You pick the sauce you want, the pasta, And you pick the toppings that go in with it, like artichokes broccoli roasted garlic pinenuts mushrooms spinach ECT. My wife ordered the chicken Parmesan she always does. Absolutely delicious probably one of their most ordered dinners. She always gets the angel hair pasta with the marinara sauce. Everything is perfect here I don't have a comment about anything being off wrong or Adaline the place is just perfect the best pasta and sauce as you can possibly have anywhere and Palm Beach County. Visited the Resturant on Friday for my 15 yr olds birthday with a reservation at 7:30 pm , were seated exactly on time . Service was good . But the food portions for dinner are too small ; I ordered baked lasagna and my daughter shrimp with pasta and another create your own pasta. Two of us left hungry after dinner. Calamari Appetizer had 8 pieces too small for my taste we each had couple of pieces . While the service and quality is great the portions are too small . Loved this place! Just moved to Wellington and people recommended this great little Italian joint. Had the meatball appetizer with ricotta, the balks were flavorful and the cheese warm and creamy. We Ordered chicken parm and spaghetti bolognese (our staples when checking out a new Italian restaurant), both served with homemade pasta and delicious! Daughter ordered pesto with broccoli and loved it. I was mostly impressed with the pasta fagioli, I make this at home and usually when I order this soup it never compares. Well this was better than my own - thinking of going right now to grab a bowl!! We ordered the zeppole for dessert. It was served warm and these tasty bites were a perfect ending to a tasty meal! When I was resident of Wellington, I was never able to visit Agliolio (I actually remember all the way back to when it used to be Manino's). And as someone who's lived in NYC for about a decade, I've had my fair share of excellent Italian faire. I was looking for a restaurant to enjoy a meal with family & friends. All that being said, Agliolio did a commendable job delivering the goods. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with penne & marinara, and a caesar salad. Both were quite tasty. You can really tell they make their pasta in-house! Part of why I docked a star was due to my best friend's Chicken Francese having waaay too much of an egg batter; it was almost like a chicken cutlet wrapped in an omelet. Another reason I lowered my review a bit was the ambiance. This restaurant gets pretty noisy during peak dinner service, and it was difficult to have conversation without raising our voices. I was glad that I listened to other reviews that recommended placing a reservation. I never thought I'd need one to eat at a Wellington restaurant! Went Thursday for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered two lunch specials, chicken parm sub and meatball sub. They came with a salad. They take the middle out of the bread, so the sub is like a little boat filled with chicken. The marinara sauce is served on the side. The meatballs had a spice we weren't crazy about but the chicken was great. Service was quick and efficient. The place was clean and modern. I was super impressed with the lunch special.
