Helen truly is incredible. Her guidance and support throughout our wedding planning process is invaluable. From our initial call to our monthly check-ins and in-person meets leading up to the big day, she has shown true professionalism and patience. Helen is amazing!!! First, she was the only wedding coordinator that we talked to who wanted to have an initial VIDEO meeting with us (rather than just a phone call). During that meeting, she immediately impressed us by taking a genuine interest in us as a couple. With other coordinators, it always seemed like it was strictly business - with Helen, we felt like we were being seen, heard, and celebrated, as a couple. She's so personable - from the very first phone call with her, she was interested in hearing about our first date, relationship, and proposal. When we first met her, we loved how energetic, warm, and truly caring she was. Helen is everything you're looking for in a wedding coordinator -- she's kind, attentive, extremely organized, encouraging, prompt and responsive, and not afraid to take initiative and ask questions. We had met with several planner/coordinators and when we met Helen, we knew she was the one. Her energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism really set her apart.. and she was willing to do so much more than other coordinators (be the point of contact for ALL family and wedding party, sent personalized emails to each person with their specific roles, etc.). Throughout the process (before the 2 months out mark began), she was so understanding and flexible with us. We had several unexpected things happen throughout the planning journey (mom got cancer/passed away... husband got laid off...) and Helen replied to all our situations with empathy and care that really made a difference. When the wedding came near, our contract with her finally began and she was on top of everything. During our final walkthrough, she had questions all ready for our venue coordinators and after we got home, she had a recap email with outstanding questions listed out so clearly. Whenever I would reply to one of her questions at midnight, she was right there with a reply at 1am LOL I don't know how she does it, but she's QUICK and thorough which I really appreciated. I feel like a wedding coordinator is one of those roles where it's easy to see what they do wrong because you notice when things go wrong, but you can't quite see all the things they do right because things just run smoothly (this doesn't sound eloquent, but hope it makes sense). Basically, our wedding day was stress-free, so smooth, and not rushed (from our POV and our guests!).. and I think it in large part due to Helen's coordination! Helen is the BEST! I wholeheartedly believe she saved me from going insane this year with wedding planning. My fiancé and I booked our wedding venue about a year ago...then quickly realized we did not know where to go from there. We reached out to her and had an initial video meeting in January to discuss her wedding planning packages. We immediately loved her energy and vibe, and really appreciated how detail-oriented she is. We booked her that same day for full planning services. From there, wedding planning became so easy! I had been so overwhelmed and Helen really helped break down the process into pieces. She first set up an entire digital planning book to help keep us on track, with monthly to dos for each step of the way. She offered advice on everything you could think of (and even things you wouldn't even think of) - vendor referrals that fit our vibe (plus direct coordination with those vendors), designing the wedding according to my vision and then helping to execute it, and helping us breakdown the budget by category. Then the big day finally came, and wow!! If our wedding was a big orchestra of moving parts, then Helen was the conductor. She RAN the show and she did it with grace and calm. Helen coordinated the vendors and venue and made sure the day ran smoothly. Of course we ran behind because life happens, but Helen would quickly pivot as needed and make sure we were okay according to the overall day's timeline! TL;DR, enthusiastic, meticulous, well organized, easy to work with. Not only is she a phenomenal planner, but she also did an amazing job making my visions come to life. My table settings and details were not very simple and quite complicating but she made sure everything was put where I wanted and made sure my vision looked perfect in real life. Like many other reviews here, we were initially drawn to Helen because of her kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism. She answered all of our questions and put my project-planner mind at ease with the millions of details and moving parts involved in weddings. Logistically, Helen was a true gem. Even our venue manager remarked on how impressively organized she was. She also went above and beyond in executing our wedding vision, creating a collaborative design document with sketches that I could easily comment on and adjust right up until three weeks before the wedding. Overall Helen's coordination shined throughout the entire process. Helen was an absolute pleasure to work with and--I say this next part full-heartedly joking because I'm not trying to jinx my current marriage lol--if I were to get married again, I would most look forward to working with Helen for a second time as my wedding coordinator! Early on in the wedding planning stages, I had consultations with a few other coordinators, and while most were great, what instantly stood out in our meeting with Helen was that she was instantly curious about our story and seemed personally invested in getting to know us. I appreciated her genuineness and how she saw us as real people about to embark on this huge life journey instead of as just a number to add to her clientele. I also loved that we could connect on the Gospel as we really looked forward to our wedding day as a reminder of the fulfillment of the Gospel covenant. While we didn't hire Helen for the full wedding planning package, she was available anytime for any and all questions we had, which as a first-time bride was so helpful. We appreciated her willingness to help every step of the way! When we came time to hand off all our vendors to Helen, she made it so easy for us. She was incredibly patient with us, answered our late-night frantic texts (sorry Helen!), was well-organized, on-top of reaching out to our vendors, and though she didn't have to, we really appreciated how she encouraged us with our true hope and joy in Christ as we went through some tough life transitions throughout our wedding planning process. She brings so much clarity to the planning process and provided all tools, inspiration, checklists, guidelines, etc. we needed to be successful. WE LOVE HELEN! Our wedding was just one month ago, and I still feel giddy thinking about it today! We hired Helen for her month of coordination services, but we wish we had her from the very start of planning. From our first FaceTime meeting with her, we knew she would be the one! Right after we got engaged, I had met with several coordinators, and none of them had the same attention to detail, warmth, thoughtfulness as Helen.
