Solid restaurant. They have plenty of options if you're in the mood for poke but want a little more. They have rolls, a wide variety of options, boba, and the place has an overall chill vibe to it. The workers are nice and patient - I ask to put every topping in my bowl and they gladly provided me with that. All in all great restaurant! read more

Came here the other day to get myself some Poke. I went with the regular bowl which comes with two scoops of protein. I went with the Tuna Luau and Blazing Salmon which are my faves. I think chose the house, house spicy, and spicy creamy sauce. For the toppings i went with cucumber, edamame, masago, seaweed, jalapeno, and crab meat. I then topped it off with some more spicy creamy sauce....bomb! They should call this the Rafeek Bowl. read more

This place was good, but not the best. I personally thought it was a little pricey for how much they give. Also when I came into the restaurant the poke and side toppings did not look very fresh and instead looked like they had been out for a while. However, their sauces are pretty good! They also have hand rolls, sushi burritos and poke tacos. AVOCADO IS EXTRA! read more

Usually come here for my lunch time and it always hits the spot! However today seemed weird, I had some new guy take my order and already from the start he seemed like he didn't want to be there. As he was taking my order it seemed like I was being rushed and the guy was spilling meats on the table, seemed like he was pissed from something. After finishing my order he rings me up and forgets to even charge me for my spam masubi I ordered at the start so I reminded him. After getting my food and drink he then proceeds to go into the kitchen area and completely forgets about the spam masubi I ordered which resulted into it being burnt. I mean I still ate it, I was raised to appreciate whatever I was made but this just seemed careless and not taken care of. Probably gonna take a break from here Pros: - good sushi - rice tastes good Cons: - Boba can feel like rocks - constantly hiring new people - tendency to burn spam masubi - felt rushed when ordering - wasn't handed utensil's nicely just thrown on my tray - staff seems to be run by kids - owners need to retrain some of the hires Overall the place has really good food but some of the staff tend to make it a bad place to eat at. read more

I got food poisoning. The service was horrible the lady behind the counter shoved my food at me and rushed me through my order, then a few hours later all I'm doing for an hour straight is sitting on the toilet and throwing it all back up. I would post pictures to show you guys I'm not lying but I don't think some people would like to see that when they're trying to find places to eat. DO NOT GO THERE!!! read more

Ordered via Postmates. There were no utensils. The sauce container was inside the bowl taking up space. The serving size is insanely small. The food was mediocre but there are countless of poki places in the area that give more food for similar cost. read more

Excellent poke. Super nice couple runs it, always fresh ingredients. Prices a bit higher since the pandemic, but that's everywhere, and I like supporting small business, especially right now. WON'T BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION! :( I've used this location numerous times when we venture over from Azusa to shop at Sam's. Due to COVID-19, we've been making an effort to order out at least twice a week to support the restaurant business during these unprecedented times. This location is usually always awesome like the other one in West Covina that we use, but not today. The owners, a husband and wife, were the only ones working. Wife was dishing up the orders and was skimping so hard on everything. The topping scoops WERE ONLY HALF FULL. The fish, she literally put some back out of our two tiny scoops. Even down to the rice and lettuce - products that even in times like these, they're paying bottom dollar for - she didn't even remotely come close to filling our containers to the top. I love Ahi Poke because while $25 for 2 medium bowls is more than what we'd pay for 2 meals at many other to-go spots, the value is worth it because they're always generous. Super disappointed. 2/5 solely based on the fact that the food is good even though we were only served 1/3 of what we'd usually get at this place. read more

Did this place change owners? There's something about it that is off. The tuna luau didn't taste fresh. Tuna was black. I'm crossing my fingers I don't get sick. The place was not as usually clean. The doors walking out are black from being so dirty. Everything else was good. The service well.. she didn't speak very much. I love poki but I might look for another one nearby. And the price just feels like it keeps going up. read more

Kinda disappointed since I used to come here for lunch. The prices went up which I understand the pandemic changed a lot of things but giving us less than what you used to for more $$ is not cool at all and have to find a different poke spot to go to. I was asking the lady that was working there today around 3:30ish if she's able to add more seaweed and she said she's gonna have to charge me for it I also asked for more ginger and crab with the little amount that she put on my bowl it's understanding why I asked for more. She was giving me so little when this never was an issue before. They also never charged for every little thing. 15+ tip almost $20 for my poke bowl and to give little pinches of toppings. Not cool man. Y'all need to do better and on top of that I got no utensils or napkins I had to eat with my fingers since I took it to a park to eat during my lunch. Messed up read more

when I pay $13 for a bowl (drink not included) I should get more than what I got. The cost benefit ratio is extremely low. When the rice is 2 1/2 times what you get in fish it's not worth it. Tried this place because my company moved her a couple of months and I missed my poke fix that I got with pokinometry. I really miss that place right about now. Also avocado is extra. All the other poke places I've been it's part of the cost. So 2 scoops is 11.95 plus tax for $13. I would comment on the flavor but honestly it wasn't that great. I won't be coming back ever. read more

This place has good options and the quality of the food is decent. The price is pretty average compared to other places that offer the same type of food. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because after going several times in the past year or so I noticed they became stingy with their servings of the raw fish. When I ask for 2 or 3 scoops I expect a full scoop of each. But this place seems to be very stingy with the scoops. For $15 I expect to see a decent amount of raw fish on my plate. They have good options for the garnishes and veggies just wish they were better at giving the said scoops paid for. They have a great grilled salmon and chicken bowl/plates to choose from. Healthier options for sure. I would recommend it just don't be surprised if they jip you a bit on the scoops. read more

I got a regular 2-scoop bowl with salmon $9.75 for two scoops, $11.95 for three). I felt like I got a lot of fish for two scoops, but at the same time I didn't feel like I get that much rice or veggies. I've never had a problem rationing out my veggies and rice to go with each bite of salmon so it was a little weird to do that here. We came here for their 50% off a bowl with drink purchase. The cheapest drink was the $1.50 hot tea but the girl at the register said their machine wasn't working so we paid $1.99 for a fountain drink cup instead. This place feels a little expensive for the portions so I wouldn't come back but service was great. A worker helped explain stuff to my parents who are new to this kind of poke. Unagi and spam come cooked but aren't the most filling options to pick together, according to my friend. Yellowtail is $1 extra. Same goes for avocado. Ice cream macarons are $3.50. read more

Every restaurant makes a mistake sometimes, it's how they handle the mistakes that really sit with you. I'm making time to write a review, and order again, because of how well Ahipoki handled a fairly small issue. My girlfriend Christina and I are new to the area and have been postmating and trying everything in the neighborhood. We ordered from ahipoki and they left out the sauce for her bowl, small thing. The problem is that you don't usually eat Poki without any sauce whatsoever. We called the store initially just asking how we could solve the problem. In the past, Postmates has refunded and resent the order but we wanted to check that it's how they wanted to handle it. Though I didn't get his name, the manager or owner got on the phone and was extremely apologetic. Instead of having us refund the order, he had an employee drive us out an entire new bowl!!!! We couldn't have been more thankful or surprised at how well that was handled. None of this would matter if the food sucked, and it didn't. I don't eat raw fish but the chicken teriyaki bowl I got was outstanding and Tina loved the (second) bowl they sent over (they packed it)! We will be ordering again and you should try them out!!! read more

This is a great poke place, located in a quite large plaza. I was craving poke, so I found this place due to it being the closest to my current location. I had read reviews upon the proportions being small, but was proven wrong once I received my bowl. I ordered a large with all protein being salmon, avocado, masago, furikake, edamame, crab meat, green onion, cucumbers, and house sauce. Not only were the proportions good, but they were flavorful and fresh. The price was worth the bowl and I will definitely be returning. Another plus was the customer service. An asian lady was making our bowls, in which my father speaks Cantonese and rarely any English. She picked up that he spoke Canto and immediately started to ask the questions and etc. in Canto. I appreciate that, especially because it was his first time trying poke and also because most places don't offer that service. read more

I got there at 8:20, wanted to order their spam nigiri. They told me they turn the machine off because they are closing. Closing? Apparently, they close at 9pm. Never been to a store like that. I ended up getting a large poke bowl with 3 toppings. The amount of rice and fish is so sad. I can order a regular size with better price but still get more food from other poke place. Tried to call ahead at 8:45 to confirm that they're still serving, but they didn't answer. Drive up and lights are on with two people inside, but doors are locked. Extremely small portions when it comes to their "scoops". I got 2 scoops and in the bowl the employee was preparing, I could count 6 thin pieces of salmon and tuna. I asked her "that's two scoops?" And she said "yes". I asked if she was joking at the comically small portion she tried to serve me. The other employee switched with her and just added two more tiny pieces of fish. I said never mind and left. I'm not paying $10+ for 6 tiny pieces of fish! That's ridiculous. The last time I came, I didn't get super tiny portions of fish, so I'm upset about the inconsistency. This is my third location eating at AhiPoki. I didn't like my poke. Fish was chewy, the spicy mayo sauce mixed in my fish wasn't tasty. It was bland. The asian boy that did the toppings was WAYYYYY stingy on giving me seaweed and when I asked for more, he said it'll cost .75, which is fine but damn, at least hook me up with more seaweed for paying extra! Was not satisfied with my poke. Will not come back! I would rather eat at Oke Poke in Glendora! At least they don't charge for extras AND avocado is free unlike Akipoki . read more

I stumbled upon this place when out shopping with my girlfriend. It's amazing. So fresh and delicious with all the yummy ingredients. The sauces are also to die for! Everyone that works there goes above and beyond when it comes to making sure you have your meal just how you want it. There are a ton of locations. So I'm going to have to try the one in my neighborhood. I'll let you know how that location ranks. read more

It was on my receipt, but it wasn't on the food, not on the side, not anywhere. So what I basically had was a pile of raw salmon and dry white rice and toppings. I tried to eat it, but it was super dry and sticky, and I couldn't go back to just get the sauce because I couldn't leave work. I left it in the fridge and took a picture the next day, and took the picture and my receipt back to see if I could get a replacement bowl, or my money back. The guy behind the register had to call his manager, who told him he was only allowed to give me a side cup of the sauce. Which didn't do me any good now, because I wasn't comfortable eating raw fish the day after I ordered it. I only kept the original bowl to be able to take the picture, so they knew I didn't eat it and was just trying to get a new bowl for free. So no replacement bowl, and no money back. I paid $20, including tip, and ended up just eating that payment. Really, really frustrating. If you're going to have new workers with no manager around, you should have a better system of correcting errors when they happen. Offering a free drink or dessert even would have been better than nothing, but their solution was just for me to take the new side sauce and eat raw fish a day later. The food is good, so I may still go back in the future, but I'll definitely be much more likely to check everything is correct before I go.

Finally, a decent poke place in the Glendora area! Would've been a 4 star rating had it not been for the experience with an unnecessarily rude employee (didn't get a name, but she had a rose/flower tattoo on her right forearm) on 12/19/17 just after 12:00pm. After ordering (I added 3 additional proteins plus avocado), I got to the register and informed the employee who assembled my bowl I had a 50% off coupon (with the purchase of a drink) on the Yelp app for checking in. She says she doesn't know if they're still accepting the coupon and asks a second employee. She doesn't know either, so she calls someone (supervisor?) on the phone to see if they were still accepting the coupon. She gets the approval, takes over the transaction, and tells me my total comes out to $13.xx with a fountain drink. That seemed high even after the 50% off coupon, so I asked if the regular price would have been close to $26.xx before the coupon and she quipped, "No, you added 3 sides. It's 50% off the bowl; you can see it on the receipt. It's not 50% off the entire purchase." I thought I might have missed something on the coupon, so I paid for the bowl and drink, dined in, and left. After looking at the coupon a short while later, it states verbatim: "50% off with a purchase of a drink." There's no indication anywhere that it's only 50% off the "base" bowl and all additions and drink are full price. The coupon either needs to be more specific and/or the employee(s) need to be better informed. read more

I've been a regular at Ahi Poke in the Eastland Shopping Center for some time, attracted initially by their decent portion sizes. However, my recent visit to the Glendora location disappointed me. While the quality of the fish and ingredients was still top-notch, consistent with what I've come to expect from Ahi Poke, the portion size at this particular location was noticeably smaller compared to what I'm used to. Poke bowls are typically hearty and filling, but the servings here didn't hit the mark. It felt like I was getting less value for the price paid, which is a crucial factor for me when eating out. Given this experience, I find it hard to recommend the Glendora location of Ahi Poke, especially if you're familiar with the more generous servings at their other branches. Should of went with my gut here. Place looks nice but empty and now I know why. Seafood is fresh enough but super small portions. Guy who got the rice wiped his nose on his shirt. If your sick stay home. Dude who got my fish was super stingy. 1 scoop is like 5 small piece then I aske him for the eel as my second scoop and he was going to give me the smallest piece until I said something to him. He offers me an extra scoop but he would have to charge me. As the others here said nothing like the picture. I get better portions with costco samples. This was my first time coming to AhiPoki and i immediately was greeted so nicely from the employees. I always appreciate a great welcome, especially since I was getting there close to closing time. From the beginning, she had an unwelcoming demeanor, and I could barely hear her; she sounded annoyed the whole time and spoke to us like we were bothering her. I go to this place everyday for lunch since I work at the bed bath and beyond in the same parking lot. The fish is very high quality and they offer it to be seared which you don't see too much. One thing that is important to me is having fast moving lines since I go there for my lunch and I am never there waiting in line too long. Right next to the 24 hour fitness which is really convenient and nice. It's a little pricy compared to other poke places i've been too. However, quality is up there with the best.
