Was craving poke so stopped by here...unfortunately not too impressed. It was all just alright. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have sushi rice, only regular white rice. I got the two scoops for $14.95 and got the premixed tuna luau and a regular scoop of salmon. I had a new worker who was still under training. Understandable. The manager helped out and added a few more pieces of fish since I was getting really measly scoops. I only got the house sauce for the mix. I should've got a lot more. The final produce of the bowl was missing so much flavor that I had to ask for extra soy sauce packets. I was surprised the premixed tuna luau barely had any flavor. As for fish quality, it wasn't bad per se but I could tell it also wasn't the freshest. It was fairly fishy tasting where it bordered on tasting old but not bad. Wouldn't really come back. Yuck. I used to come here regularly when I worked nearby, back before COVID. They had some of the best albacore around, and I always paired it with their house spicy sauce. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. The quality has gone significantly downhill. They now offer mostly pre-made poke with very few options that aren't already covered in sauce. They also no longer carry albacore, so I ordered regular tuna and salmon instead. The house spicy sauce was still good, but that's about where the positives ended. The first bite of tuna immediately raised a red flag. It had a noticeable odor and an unpleasant taste. It definitely did not taste fresh, or at the very least, it didn't seem like it had been stored properly. I went back to the counter and mentioned it to the staff. The employee who made my bowl--possibly the manager or owner--told me it was bluefin tuna and that it was supposed to taste that way. I explained that I've eaten poke at plenty of places and fresh tuna does not taste like that. He kept insisting it was just a matter of "preference." Sorry, but fresh fish isn't a preference--it's a requirement. To their credit, they did offer to replace the tuna, and I swapped it out for more salmon. Unfortunately, by that point my appetite was gone. The salmon was edible, but I couldn't bring myself to enjoy the meal and ended up throwing away the entire bowl. It pains me to leave such a low rating because they did try to make it right, but this place needs to do better. I eagerly devoured the plump shrimp and soft salmon. The vegetables tasted fresh and the rice was fluffy. Regarding staff, the 7PM staff was uniquely exceptional. The absolute best poke spot! I started going since I started working in Eastland center. Everytime I come I get greeted by the best manager, who I found out today is named Edwin! He's super sweet and always very happy to serve. Today when I walked in a hour before closing I was greeted by Edwin and saw that they ran out of limu tuna he told me he can try and make it for me but he doesn't have all the ingredients and told me they were actually closed! Even though they were closed he didn't seem to budge on not being able to serve us and was still very accommodating. Food was amazing as always he seasons it perfectly. Update: officially reported to the health department! So I came today to get a 2 scoop bowl knowing their soda machine wouldn't be working (they finally took it out). I was at home almost done with my bowl when I saw a white thin thing sticking out of my salmon piece. I pulled it out and it was moving upon me taking it out. I almost threw up on my couch. I am so disgusted I'm reporting this place to the health department! I am a full time student and cannot afford to miss school. If I get sick from this I am quite literally suing. However, there was a sign in the window that said "Sign up for our app and receive free avocado," so I signed up while waiting to order. Looking for a Poke place in the area and this popped up and the Yelp reviews were positive. Ordered a teriyaki chicken plate (Teri sauce on the side) and 2 3 scoop plate and 2 orders of the spam musubi (4 total). First things first - the scoops are super small. The 3 scoops are equivalent to 1 regular sized ice cream scoop. You get the most fish, when you order the regular fish where they mix it in the bowl. All the pre-mixed ones you get mostly fillers (onions, bits of avocados etc etc) The base layer of rice (or greens) is a thin layer. Skimping on the rice...and the sides. Those are the cheapest part of the meal. The server, accidentally put green onions on my plate - didn't even offer to remake it. I just ended up having to pick it all out when I got home. The tuna, while mixed in the garlic sauce wasn't very flavorful at all. It was at best mild. The chicken plate - surprisingly had a decent amount of chicken. However, the teriyaki sauce on the side, they forgot it. I told the server twice and then when the cook asked me if I wanted sauce on the chicken, I told him on the side. Well, it went in 1 ear and out the other. There was no Teri sauce. The spam musubi's were ok, had just enough teriyaki sauce on them. Server only packed 2 forks for the 3 medals and no napkins. Overall - it wasn't worth the price we paid. The fish was lacking in flavor and the service wasn't very good. Missing sauces and not enough utensil's and no napkins. I am a poke LOVER. I have been wanting to try this place for years but never made my way in until today. I chose the 3 protein half and half. The serving size is generous but something wasn't right. First, I got three different ahi's because that's how I roll. I got the spicy tuna, lava ahi, and plain ahi. The sauces were not very saucy and the fish tasted not so fresh. In other places for the toppings sometimes avocado is included in the price, here it is not so I opted out. For 18.some id probably not get poke from here again. I would try the cooked bowls though. Overall, nice clean store, service was decent, but the poke was lackluster. If you love poke the way I do, you probably won't love this place. If you are not picky, have at it. read more

I can't comment on the food quality as I ended up walking out. The service was HORRIBLE!! The employees were so concerned with making all the online orders that they left the rest of us that came into the store waiting for a ridiculous amount of time with no acknowledgement. When I finally get to the front a new person comes up and tells me it's going to be a little bit before we can get to you.
