So because of that reason, I chose not to go here for next couple years. A couple months ago I had a sudden craving for poke and figured I'd give this place another chance. Upon entry, I was greeting by a kind gentleman. The server was attentive to detail, double checked with my toppings of choice, quick, and kind. The sauce choices are pretty straight forward, and I opted to go for shoyu w/lots of onion for my poke. Taste-wise, the poke was solid. It WASNT cooked (just the way I like it), and overall the experience was pretty solid. I will say portion sizes do vary on who's serving you. I believe the person who served me gave me a generous helping on each of my choices. Although I have other poke shops near by that I enjoy, I will be coming back to Bluewater Poke sometime soon!

(I don't really know what to say when Every. Single. Time. I see this lady, she's working harder than 3 Californians on a might-as-well-be-summer day.) I can't forget to shout-out all the beautiful girlies who made the consistency actual happen--like the owner's daughter, I think her cousin (only because I think I heard someone else reference them being cousins maybe), the petite cutie with all the gold & the most amazing nailsssssss! I digress... And it's cold. The importance of keeping seafood fresh in a clean, cold environment is a non-negotiable. Like AC always at 74. O and metal chairs, a clean bathroom AND clean floors. However, we ended up waiting over an hour just to be seated. If Yelp check-ins are being prioritized over walk-ins, that should be clearly communicated so customers can plan accordingly. What really made things worse was the service. Once we were finally seated, a blue-haired employee informed us--without any friendliness or professionalism--that someone else would be taking our order. Her attitude was rude, and there was a complete lack of basic customer service. It made us feel unwelcome and overlooked. At that point, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. We ended up at Finney's, where everyone is treated equally and the service is consistently great. It's disappointing to see how much this place has gone downhill. Sadly, I won't be returning.
