    Happy hour menu
    Jonathan G.

Came on a thursday night and the waiter said kitchen was only open until 1030 but thats not what the menu said He refused to serve us food

Burger isn't even as big as the bun, and it was not a thick patty either!

Started out good. Mother's Day (for me), App was good (pork belly). Then my order not so good. I got the Blue bacon burger, was very clear (3 times) Has to be pink/red in the center; will not eat a if fully cooked. It was fully cooked -- burger patty was smaller than the bun too. Waitress knew we didn't have time.to get another (we had 1 hour; tickets for something). So no lunch for.this Mom. Waitress didn't even care. She never said sorry, asked what I wanted to do, offer to get something else, nothing. I asked her to see how long it would take for a new patty & LMK, she didn't. I had to ask another staff. She came to our table for order and food delivery only! That's she wasn't busy -- did see her socializing with staff and on her phone. Another nice gentleman did what she wasn't. The patty was smaller than the bun, and not very thick either. This place started out great, ended with me going hungry until after the tour we had tickets for.

We decided to try something new and stopped and checked out the menu sitting outside. We love that they offered bottomless mimosas for brunch.. but the food options were amazing! We had the Cajun barbecued oysters, mussels, one of their amazing burgers and a side order of truffle fries, which are to die for! We're actually pretty angry at ourselves because we've passed this place numerous times and never stopped but decided to try it today and this is going to be one of our brand new brunch spots! Our host/waiter was amazing very attentive, very polite. The location is really nice. It gives a very Palm Springs vibe which we love.. if you haven't tried it come check it out

I came here on a Wednesday and wow I was surprised with how many people had the same idea, this is a new spot with so much energy and thought put into it. I came on a karaoke night so it was a bit loud and hard to hear but there was a lot of great energy in the room. The food was absolutely delicious and they had some very interesting options like duck wings and bone marrow. the service was also great, everyone was nice and they checked up on our table making sure everything was good. Would definitely recommend to try it out!

The bar (& fresh juices) definitely made me happier. The food served its purpose but idk if that's worth coming back for on its own. Bartender & juice barista (not sure what you'd call him bc "juicer" doesn't sound like it does him justice) were the best. You can tell they truly care about their craft.

Place is nice. Staff is friendly. We had the calamari and the Hawaiian pork tacos with sweet potatoe fries. Calamari was 6/10 - I did like the fried prepared with it. Tacos were not hot 5/10. Sweet potato fries was good with a honey drizzle. 9/10.

The outdoor seating is beautiful, the service was great, and the food... I was prepared to be underwhelmed because of other reviews, but this food was so good! Ahi Tuna Nachos , Calamari , Mussels Mediterranean ! I'm looking forward to the next trip and I'll recommend The Industry to others. (Came on a Friday night, and the two servers were handling the bar and tables like champs.)

Great service! The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable with the drinks. I tried the aguas frescas drink and it was delicious.

How late is the kitchen open?? Since it's an "industry spot" I'm assuming the kitchen will be late night.

10:30 to 11:00 pm depends on how busy they are.

It's the kind of place that feels made for a TikTok moment, with every corner serving up aesthetic and attitude. Cocktails are the real stars here--sweet, bold, and crafted to impress. They've got a slick system too, with some classics like Old Fashioneds pre-batched and chilled, so your drink hits your hand almost instantly (and somehow still tastes on point). Their wine selection is solid if you're feeling a little more refined, while the beer is just okay. All in all, it's less about the beer and more about the vibe--electric, a little mysterious, and definitely a good time.

If someone felt they were treated rudely by a waitress, that doesn't mean everyone that walks in will be treated the same way by that or any member of the staff. Yet here I am writing one of those reviews, because the complete lack of management was appalling. And I had no real interpersonal issue with anybody, so what happened to me could happen to you. We invited a neighbor out to the fun new place in town called THE OVERLAND -- that we'd been dying to try. We tried to get reservations early Friday because it was a Friday night. But their website appeared broken. When you clicked MAKE RESERVATIONS, nothing happened. We even called but got no call backs. We show up at 6PM and get THE BIG SIGH. "Yeah, umm... SIGH... we're having a big party on the patio and our reservations are booked for the night... SIGH." I'm highlighting the SIGHS because the staff isn't supposed to SIGH at us at how hectic their life is. It's OUR place to SIGH at the staff for failing to properly warn us the place was already booked for the night. So they sit us at a long high top where you're kind of sharing your table with 12 other people. Luckily a sweet patron volunteered to move so that we could sit across from our neighbor and create the illusion of an actual table. Soon the attentive staff did show up to take a drink order, but with a SIGH and a grimace our wait person then broke the news that because of the large party out on the patio -- there would be no food for at least an hour. We should have been told that at the door, right? As to not raise a fuss we ordered drinks and they were pretty good. The music was nice. The thing is -- -- restaurants that have an artsy fancy hipster "vibe" twist pride themselves on not being chain restaurants. I celebrate that and I get that. But with this territory often comes this odd feeling that they have no clue how to run a restaurant. "We're trying our best" with a SIGH doesn't cut it after being in business more than a few months. All 'soft openings' must come to end, people. Some Pro Tips -- 1. If your website cannot take any additional reservations, it should indicate as much. To us, it simply appeared broken. You've been open for three years and this isn't fixed YET? 2. At the door, we needed to be told there's a big function and it might be better to come back another night. Or, even more professional -- 3. -- either close the entire restaurant for a 'Private Function' or 4. -- have additional kitchen staff ready to handle both the restaurant AND the large party. Sorry folks, but you made one lousy first impression. I'm at a loss to understand why there should be a second.

We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Service was the main issue. The bartenders seemed inexperienced, and our server wasn't familiar with the drinks, often needing to check with someone else. It took about 20 minutes to receive our first round. Our reservation was at 10:30, we were seated until 10:40, and the place closes at midnight so timing already felt tight. Because of the wait, we asked to order two drinks at once for the next round, but were told it's limited to one at a time. That would be understandable if service were faster, but it took another 20 minutes to get the second drink. We were also told drinks from the regular menu take longer, so I tried one from the specialty menu...still a 20-minute wait. It was a frustrating experience.
