2 Scoop Bowl (Scallops & Blazing Salmon)
    Sam H.

Stopped by for dinner before a game at Mullet Arena. I order my 2 scoop (spicy tuna and tuna lava) creation and a miso soup. Bowl is always good, but the miso soup was only ok, definitely lacking in flavor/seasoning. The folks that attended to us were friendly and the place is very clean. The area shares parking with several dining establishments so parking can be minimal to none.

Portions are great. 2 scoop or 3 scoop is super filling! Even a kids bowl is a ton of food. I got shrimp and octopus as my protein and I love that they offer kelp noodles as a base. Some of the crew will HOOK IT UP! But I will say there are some stingy team members who don't load it up as much. Overall a super clean place with plenty of seating. Parking is a nightmare during peak hours, but it's worth it!

Salmon, tuna with half & half- brown rice and salad and most of the toppings they had.

I've came several times since my last review and the employees have been much kinder since then and it still has the same amazing quality ingredients and clean inside. So I will still continue to come here every month:)

Poke here is always good :) They have fresh selection of fish, veggie, and sauce. What I like about this place is that they give generous amount of food, and have yellowtail! Although it's a dollar extra, I usually get it cuz it's so yum. Oh and I always ask for wasabi and sriracha, wasabi goes well with fish, and I mix sriracha with crab salad to make it spicy creamy salad. I already want poke again :'(

fresh & was good & super filling. I got the two scoops bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. Helpful staff, chill place, I did notice that some of the tables looked like they could've been wiped off a bit better tho.

This was my first Poke Bowl and I found out tonight that Ahi Poke was the first Poke Restaurant in AZ. I had shrimp, avocado, pickled radish, seaweed, sesame seeds and fried onion on top of the salad with a citrus dressing. Really delicious and fresh. I'm not much of an adventurous eater...I wanted to try the salmon but opted for the spicy shrimp instead. Everything was very fresh and the staff was friendly. I'm on a particularly restrictive diet called a lectin-free diet and this was a great place to go to get a tasty meal that was compliant. It's good to know there's somewhere I can go to get fresh food without having to eliminate a whole bunch of things on pre-fixed menu options.

On my back from a short errand and stopped by here to get lunch. Customer service was okay. Employees were not as informed or friendly as one would expect. Felt a bit like pulling teeth to get recommendations or insights on what is good. Portions were fair and it tasted good. Got tuna, salmon, and octopus Did have a slight tummy ache after

I found it very strange that they don't have any "pre built" bowls on their menu. Their only two options are BYO bowls with either 2 scoops of protein or 3. My bowl had white rice, spicy tuna, salmon, spicy creamy sauce, cucumber, green onions, seaweed salad, avocado, crispy onions, & crabmeat. My bowl came with a fork instead of chopsticks and it came in two separate containers. One for the fish and the other for the rice & veggies. Both bowls were pretty small so it was a little difficult to mix everything together. Everything seemed fresh and tasted pretty good. The spicy tuna and spicy creamy sauce weren't very spicy but they tasted good. There was a good balance of rice to fish and veggies. Overall I really enjoyed my Poke bowl and I'd probably come back if I ever had a chance.

Exact same comment as the user Emma posted 3 months ago. Blonde employee is the rudest individual I've ever encountered at an ahi poke chain. Seriously how does someone like this get through the hiring process? Extremely bossy, controlling, and aggressive about you ordering. There was literally nobody else in the location except me and she kept telling me that I shouldn't look at the menu because they might have it. This might be shocking to her, but people look at the menu for other things than what's in stock (names of items, combo possibilities, I dunno maybe the drink menu). Seriously if you walk in and see the blonde hair you should just walk out. If I wanted to be bossed around when trying to pick my food I'd call my mother. Absolutely infuriating. Jesus H. Food was great. Customer service brings it down to 1 star. Would be 0 because I'll never step foot in this location again.

This might be the BEST Hawaiian food I have ever had. It was SO good. We both got combo plates: mine was with katsu, char siu, spicy garlic chicken, and BBQ beef; my husband got the same, except instead of katsu, he got kalbi ribs. It was fantastic! All of the meats tasted so good, the mac salad was delicious and everything has top tier quality and taste. But I think my favorite and the star of the show is the poké. We tried two different kinds: a half pound of Hawaiian style (right) and a half pound of fried crunchy garlic (left). OMG it was heavenly! Such fresh fish and amazing flavors. I absolutely LOVED them both and wanted to eat pounds of it if I could. I want to try ALL the flavors! They had about six different poké flavors and indicated that the Surprise location would have way more, roughly double that and I am so excited about that. They also have bento boxes, burgers, poke bowls, lumpia, spam musubi (including deep fried), and an assortment of desserts. They also do weekly rotating specials; this week was loco moco specials and there were a lot of different ones to try. Chef Blaise Aki came to our table and chatted with us and he is awesome. Takes pride in his food and his customer service (which was top notch, by the way). He is an awesome chef and his food is amazing! Such a good experience and I cannot WAIT until they are in Surprise!

The restaurant was spotless, and our food came out surprisingly fast. You can really tell this is a true family-owned (ma and pa) restaurant. The owners are actually from Hawaii, and their passion for authentic Hawaiian food shines through in every bite. We ordered the rib special with the guava BBQ sauce and the combo plate with chicken and beef. Both were absolutely amazing! The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. As a bonus, they gave us a free order of katsu chicken to try, and it was mouthwatering--the best I've ever had. What really made the experience special was how the owners treated us. They made us feel like family, not just customers. It's rare to find food this delicious paired with such genuine hospitality. Pacific Rim has definitely earned a permanent spot on our family's list of favorite restaurants. We can't wait to come back! Thank you.

High and low tables and self serve drinks. There was also a sauce table. My husband ordered the BBQ Beef plate with double Mac salad. Not sure what the cashier heard but when we checked the plate, it had sautéed cabbage instead of extra mac. Brought it to the cashiers attention and she apologized and said that was her fault. She provided another scoop. My husband said it wasn't bad and he knows his teriyaki. He did say that the extra teriyaki sauce I got helped as it was slightly dry. They also gave a lot of the bbq meat. He ran out of rice so I gave him some of mine . I ordered an Aloha Plate Combo which is a 2 choice plate from a set list and toss salad instead of mac. I got the Shrimp & Island Fire Chicken. The shrimp was okay, panko fried. The island fire chicken was a sautéed chicken with onions in a spicy sauce. It was an okay plate, nothing that really wowed. There was so much sauce on the chicken, it was hard to tell how much chicken there actually was. I also ordered 2 spam musubi for the plane as we had an early flight the next day. The rice was dry so the musubi kind of fell apart. It was recommended to eat wirh the Katsu sauce so I had a small cup in the container. It was a lot better with the sauce. Overall, if we ever do go again, I would pick something else for myself however it is a limited menu. It would be difficult for them to compete with Panda Express 3 doors down.

SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more Hawaiian Bros 4445 E Thomas Road Phoenix 85018 It was lunch time and companion and I were passing by and decided to stop. This is a relatively new store with a new concept. I enjoy good Hawaiian food if it is authentic as served in the islands. The most common is called the plate lunch. In Hawaii it consists of your protein, and usually 2 scoops of potato salad and a scoop of macaroni salad. Not exactly the right meal for a carb conscious person, but definitely a tasty meal. On entering this store we immediately noticed that there was no place to order from. Instead, there were large computer screens with items you could select from. While I am not from the modern generation that is fully computer literate, I had no problem figuring it out and ordering. I ordered the Kilauea Chicken Classic and a bottle of water. Companion ordered the Molokai Chicken Classic and a Coke Zero. Everything in the place is made for easy cleaning and non destructivity. The chairs are made of metal and are one size fits all. Unfortunately, they are extremely uncomfortable to sit in and if your rear appendage is slightly on the larger side it will not fit in any way and you will be left sitting on the edge of the chair. In due course our food arrived in plastic boxes. Not the end of the world, but it would have been nice if they had been marked so we knew which was which. Because the flavors were so similar it took a bit of time to figure out the foods. The Kilauea Chicken was O.K. but nothing to write home about. It came on a bed of rice along with a ball of rice and some macaroni salad that was great. Creamy and made like that served in the islands. The Molokai Chicken bordered on inedible. It was so overcooked that I had to stop and buy toothpicks on my way to remove the remnants from my teeth. Once again, it was served over rice with a ball of rice and the same, excellent macaroni salad. The macaroni salad was the best part of the meal! Serving protein over rice and then adding another ball of rice is ridiculous. 2 Stars
