Best pho is stgeorge hands down. They seem to be the only ones using the right broth. Everything here is delicious I also love the crispy egg rolls. The chicken pho with lots of lime is good too. But typically I go for flank steak pho. Keep it simple and delicious. I also love the staff here. The man who used to run it is funny and I genuinely think anyone who doesn't like him is just uptight and used to only seeing people who are just like them in stgeorge. I could not believe we found something so unique in St George. St George has very few must stop restaurants. This is worth the visit! The server was very sweet and checked in on us quite often. The place was completely empty. I have not had pho in a while and was craving the broth. Barely eat out because my budget but wanted to splurge on a chilly day. The pho was so disappointing. Broth lacking depth of flavor and the side of veggies (very small portion of basil, bean sprout, 2 little slices of jalapeño and 1 small piece of lime) was meager. The basil was old and starting to blacken. The bean sprouts were old and limp. Water tasted metallic. I was surprised since the photos on Yelp looked so tasty and it has a decent review. Very disappointed, the menus has changed. I want the bbq chicken but was informed they no longer have that item and they were out of chicken so chicken dishes. So, I ordered the beef cabbage salad (see pictures) and the box felt light as a feather I even ask is there food in here? UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT I have eaten here ALMOST every week for the last 7+years. A few months ago we were advised there will be new people "helping." Tom & his wife were the only two working the last few years. They both worked really hard & we valued our relationship with Tom. I have been to the restaurant 4 times since the new people were there. The first time, Tom was still there. Everything was the same. The next time we went i overheard the new person telling someone the egg rolls have changed and are "better" The third time I went there were multiple people working (not Tom), the food took a long time & it wasn't the same. We ordered to go and when we got home we noticed the portion of the pork vermicelli bowl was significantly less. The pork wasn't the same & it wasn't seasoned the same either. The egg rolls that come on top weren't the same & didn't taste nearly as good. The Pad Thai was also different. The chicken didn't taste the same & the overall flavor was different and not good. I wanted to give them one more shot- thinking they were just getting the hang of everything and i really enjoyed this place. The last time I went they were out of pho. Which was WILD. When it was tim & his wife working they were never out of anything & service was always swift. Sad to say the last times i went Tom wasn't there & every time I drove by I no longer see his car upfront. The new ownership also managed Samari 21- which is no longer in business. Moving to St George from Washington State, we were in desperate need of some GOOD VEGGIE PHO. Washington knows how to Pho, and we were stoked to discover that Ah'sya had delicious Pho! Since Ah'sya used to close at 5:30pm, we weren't able to eat there on work nights and had to get our Pho fix on the odd Saturday we both had off work. This past Friday we were thrilled to discover that Ah'sya had changed their hours to be open until 8pm!!! We'd literally be able to eat there any night of the week now. We immediately RUSHED over and got a table, our joy couldn't be contained. It felt too good to be true...and it was. The first red flag was that the man and his wife weren't there. We love the owner, he's the nicest guy. We asked and learned he's now a partial owner and has more time outside the restaurant, which is great because he and his wife were essentially running the whole restaurant alone. We're happy for him! Then we ordered the Veggie Pho with Veggie Broth (our usual). The waitress says Veggie Broth is no longer available. We don't eat animal broth. So there is no longer a Pho option for us here. The heartbreak is real. This is obviously a 1st World Problem, but it was one of our favorite restaurants in town. We're sad!! Out of hunger, I was willing to try the Veggie Pad Thai, but the waitress wasn't able to tell me if there was egg or fish sauce in the dish. So we paid for the Pepsis we took 2 sips out of and left to get food else where. RIP Ah'sya, we'll miss you read more

For a Vietnamese restaurant in St. George, Utah, the pho here is pretty good. It was slightly more on the sweet side than I'm used to, but I don't have any objections. They seemed to be fully stocked on sriracha which is surprising, and when we needed more limes, the man at the front helped us. He seemed to be quite busy as he has been the only person we've ever seen at the FOH, which isn't an issue for me. I will definitely be back for when I'm craving a bowl of pho, and I'm missing the authentic stuff. Where did I just eat? I read the reviews and I am assuming I either hit it at the wrong night/time, or y'all are eating somewhere else. We ordered the crispy egg rolls-tasted like fried nothing...no flavor. It was bizarre! And the "dipping sauce" was salted water with carrot. I asked the waitress if it was right and she said it didn't look normal. So we were dipping fried, flavorless eggrolls into salted water with shreds of carrot. 0/5 We ordered these first and our waitress forgot to bring them so they came towards the end of the meal. We asked if we could just cancel them but we couldn't. Orange chicken was pretty decent, my 9 year old son inhaled it, I tried a bite and it was by far the best thing we ordered 3/5 Pad Thai - it varies so insanely much place to place, this wasn't what we are accustomed to...would we order it again? No. Was it as bad as the eggrolls? No..2/5 Special fried rice-again, not really flavored at all, kids all said it just tasted like frozen corn and they ate it because they didn't like anything else outside of the white rice that came with the orange chicken. 2/5 Grilled chicken & eggroll salad- 3/5. This is normally my go to and my absolute favorite thing at Vietnamese restaurants. This was probably the best thing we ordered. The chicken was flavorful, but again the eggroll just tasted like grease. The "dressing" was that awesome salt water and unfortunately I poured it on before I thought it through. Usually it's slightly sweet and has fish sauce in it, this was just...again? WTF did eat?? I don't want to be rude, but I have eaten Vietnamese food all over the US and Asia and this was just nothing like we are used to. I was so excited because this place is close to our house. I want to try it again and hope we just hit it on a bad night, but literally the only thing we got that was seasoned at all was the grilled chicken in the salad. My wife ordered the Bun Bo Hue which was quite odd. The broth was clearly a pho broth which was doctored up a little with some spices, the beef was also pho-derived. We are Vietnamese and we are frankly insulted they called this impostor Bun Bo Hue. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu and again it was the weirdest pad thai I have ever had. The sauce was sweet and sour fish sauce based and was way, WAY too salty. Pad Thai should be a tamarind-based sauce with the addition of soy and some fish sauce. The only thing good I could say about the dish was that the tofu was freshly deep fried and was perfect. Maybe the pho there is ok but do not order the two dishes mentioned above. read more

so disappointed with my lunch today Ah'sya or what it is now called 101 Pho. I used to love this place when I moved here 12 years ago. Frankly, I'm never going back. I got the bun with eggroll and grilled pork. Came in a non-bun bowl was mostly lettuce couple carrot slices and cucumbers nothing else vegetable but huge amount of lettuce. Should that even be in there? Lots of rice noodles in a lump and then there was the eggroll ice cold tiny maybe 5 inches tops by half inch to three-quarter but ice cold. We've never encountered such a rude server/maybe owner of Ah'sya Vietnamese Restaurant in St George. Came to our table, didn't even greet us and just placed the menu in front of us. He sloppily placed the utensils and out drink. After we've eaten and paid, he took the folder with the money and just went to the back without saying a thing. This place is easy to find with lots of parking. Host was wearing a mask at entry. It just had opened when we arrived there so there wasn't anyone around. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which was pretty standard. My standards are pretty high coming from the bay area and having it even home cooked for me. There wasn't the option of blood cubes, couldn't really taste the lemon grass. It was pretty much a really spicy combination. We needed to carb load so it did the trick. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the Pad Thai that I ordered here at Ah'sya Vietnamese Restaurant. On our way back home from a long pistol match here at St. George, we stopped by Ah'sya to fill up our bellies before our long drive back to the Bay Area. My friends ordered Pho and Rice Plates; all of them enjoyed their dishes. I decided to order differently and chose their Pad Thai; an excellent Thai dish addition to a Vietnamese restaurant. The noodles came out to be delicious and flavorful. Sometimes, some Pad Thai come short in flavor which is paramount. Ah'sya did not disappoint. Their Thai Ice Tea was good as well. I don't go to Ay'sya for all the, what I call fru fru stuff, like placing the napkin in my lap or placing the utensils in front of me, sort of thing. I go there because the food is excellent. The owner is someone that seems to have his barriers up, but once you get to know him he is a really funny guy. I love him and his food. We were the last ones there one time and offered to help him clean a little and he joked "are you trying to take my job?" I love the place. Their hours are short, but good for them for wanting their evenings free for themselves! The food is good enough that if you want it you'll make time to get there when they are open. Drove through after visiting Snow Canyon and decided to stop by due to all the great reviews. I ordered takeout and shared the Pho Tai Bo Vien, crispy egg rolls, and Vietnamese coffee with my husband. The pho noodle portion was generous and the broth was delicious, not too salty.
