A very professional and courteous company. I received a call about one half hour before they arrived, which was in the time frame I was given when making the appointment. Kevin and his assisant helped me find my dryer vent (I did not know where it was). It turned out to be on my roof which added a minimal extra cost because the distance between the dryer and the vent was over the norm for distance. The extra cost was worth it as I now feel safe using my dryer! While Kevin was here he asked me if I had ever had my air ducts cleaned - I'm sure he asked because I have animals. No, I have not had the air ducts cleaned in the 16 years I have lived in this home, although I have considered it on occasion. As I had the next day off of work and I was already impressed with the company, I asked him if they could come the next day. The air duct cleaning was amazing! When I saw what came out of my vent system I will do this every 3 years as recommended by Kevin! It took a little less than two hours. It is a bit noisy and they will open and clean EVERY vent in your house. Do not, under any circumstances, use Air Flows Chicago for your home if you would like anything vaguely resembling quality, accountability, or customer service. We had Air Flows come out to our apartment to clean our dryer vent. In the process they had to move our washer and dryer unit, which is stacked, to access the dryer vent. The next time we used the washing machine, water drained all over the floor while we were out of the room before we were able to stop it. We had a plumber come out that told us the drain pipe was completely disconnected from the wall, and that the zip ties, which the plumber told us was standard-use for drain pipes, were cut and left on the ground behind the washer/dryer. The water has caused damage, and most likely mold, to the floor in our apartment, as well as damage to the floor of the unit beneath us. After two weeks of trying to get ahold of management to ask them to come out and even INSPECT the issues their shoddy work caused, they informed us that they would be unable to accept responsibility, despite the possible thousands of dollars in damage their employees caused, citing "company operating policies" that were clearly not followed. I have never dealt with a more dishonest, underhanded company, and would strongly warn potential customers to stay far, far away. read more

As I researched; I found you have to be very careful which company you choose due to the following: 1. Some of the companies provide coupons via mail or internet, but once they complete the job, the cost is much more. 2. You want experienced individuals who are knowledgeable. 3. Lastly, of course you want someone dependable, and professional. I found this is Air Flow Chicago. The Representatives Keith and Antwone arrived at my house on time, began working, and was very professional and thorough. I called Air Flows to clean our ducts before moving into our new house because they were running a special on deep cleaning. We did some renovations and had plenty of dust circulating the house, so I wanted a fresh start. They came out to our suburban house on time and showed me that yes- the ducts could use a cleaning- the house was built in 2004 and had never been cleaned despite the original owners having a minor flood in 2012 and multiple pets. They also never cleaned the dryer vent, so Air Flows cleared that as well. Finally, we decided to have uv lights installed into the two furnaces. While I was at first skeptical of the idea, after reading about the science behind uv light and clean air, we decided we would give it a try. As a parent, I'm conscious of my childrens' environment, and if the added uv light purifies the air and reduces sickness, I'm all for it. I'll fast forward through some backstory in order to get to the point: a couple weeks ago, I was stuck with a crew in my condo, ready to renovate my washer/dryer area, but unable to start because I had received lackluster service from another duct company prior to the planned renovation. The other company claimed they were unable to complete the job because they thought there was a more pervasive problem with our ducts. Our head contractor for the renovation work recommended getting a second opinion. I called Air Flows and Kevin immediately responded. He listened to my story and rearranged his schedule to get to my condo as quickly as possible, which was about 1.5 hours later. Within about 10 minutes he had diagnosed the issue and said that he would pull a crew together as soon as he could and clear it all up. About 4 hours later he was back at my condo and fixed the issue in about 45 minutes. Due to Kevin and the rest of Air Flows' efficient and impeccable service, we did not have any wasted time and were able to complete our renovation as planned. Fantastic and worth the money! My husband, 19 mo and I recently moved into a new house in Naperville. We're expecting a newborn within the next two weeks as well. A friend recommended that we have our air ducts cleaned. Air Flows Chicago had the best reviews (highest rated) so I called them first. Kirk was awesome, super helpful on the phone and answered all of my many questions. I felt like he was being honest, upfront, and transparent about their services and associated fees, and therefore was confident that I called the right company. Kevin, Arthur and Laur were amazing. Air Flows Chicago changed all that for me when they showed up to my house, on time, and ready to roll. They explained to me every step of the way, and periodically showed me the conditions of the vents, and the results of their labor, so I saw first hand their high standard for honesty. The pricing was upfront, unlike most vent cleaners that will add items to the bill as the project proceeds, sometimes upping the cost to five or six times the original quote. When the job was complete, the owner himself called me to ensure that I was 100% satisfied. From the sound of it, I was convinced that he would personally get in his car and drive to my house to fix even the slightest complaint that I might have had. Fortunately, I only had positive things to report. He clearly loves his business, and puts his heart into making sure every customer is served to complete satisfaction. Kevin & Dion were great. I originally hired another company but really liked how Kevin called me back and thoroughly explained their system, equipment and process. Our vents hadn't been cleaned in over 15 years and we recently did major construction. Kevin offered information on general services, packages and other options -- not sales like at all -- just informative. Simple 2 man operation. Not showy. Not flashy. Very flexible in having to reschedule when I had summer plans change last minute. I can hear the air actually flowing through our vents now. I can feel air blowing up from the floor and cooling the room and I am sure we will see a difference in our energy bill. I feel like the AC was struggling to cool the house and the last few days (humid and 80s), the AC system seems to easily maintain the temperature without hours and hours of effort like in the past. I called Air Flows Chicago (found them through a home mailer) pretty last minute and was desperate to clean my dryer vent because I couldn't use my dryer at all. Kevin actually booked me for that same day! Unfortunately, I had an appointment run late and my ringer was off on my phone, so I missed their call stating that they were on the way... and therefore, missed the guys that came to the house. I called back and Kevin answered and was so nice and accommodating, even though it was my fault and had wasted his guys time. After paying a monthly fee to ABC Heating/Cooling and having NO LUCK and/or HELP from ABC, I happened to call Air Flows. I didn't leave a message, but they returned my call and the service operator was extremely helpful and immediately scheduled a tech. Antoine and Christian came and inspected the issue with my dryer vent ductwork. Antoine gave me a few options and then suggested which option he would take. He quickly assessed the fire hazard I had in my wall and that I was not up to code. Christian assessed my vent flap from the outside and told me that was not code and how it was contributing to the problem. The Air Flows Air Duct Services team was very professional and thorough. Recently my allergies had been acting up quite a bit and my trusted HVAC guy recommended Keinan (aka Kevin) and his team and they showed us just how dirty / dusty our ducts were and they did a great job of cleaning them out. They explained what they were doing and why and even suggested a UV light to help my allergies on an ongoing basis. They do all the little things right like putting shoe protectors on throughout the house, cleaning up thoroughly after each duct cleaning, and making sure they left things better than when they arrived. We have had our ducts cleaned before from the guys that advertise in the weekly mailers, but by comparison Air Flows Air Duct Services are much more thorough and they actually know what they are doing. I had two excellent technicians come to my home on Sunday to clean my furnace ducts. Xavier and his assistant had the best work ethic and pride in doing a great job that I`ve seen in a long time. They were truly eager to do the best job possible for my family`s breathing health and safety. During the job I knew they were getting well into the vents as I heard the "Whipping" of the brush travel throughout the hose like I have not had others before do. The amount of dust that they extracted was more than I have ever been actually shown ( not from a video but in a real pile by the end duct) They were so courteous and efficient that I had them do my dryer vent and again was shocked at what they were able to extract. We had our old carpet pulled out and new bamboo floors put down. We needed our ductwork cleaned, so I researched 5 duct cleaning companies that service our area. The reviews were partially good and partially bad including the BBB, but the reviews for Air Flows Chicago were great and now I know why. They were here yesterday and did a fantastic job! They were polite, neat (shoes were wrapped without me saying anything), knowledgeable about the system (which were supply vents and which were return vents), and clearly took pride in what they were doing. They also cleaned the dryer vent which was long overdue. Also, they were careful about not letting my dog or cats outside of the house - they were good about closing the doors. We had a mystery vent problem that our building maintenance and others couldn't solve quickly. We called Air Flows and they came out within days, gave us a complete estimate and walked us through what to expect. I'm very pleased with the services for the duct work and dryer vent cleaning. Price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Kevin and his partner did all that they could do to clean the vents on the first day. The dryer vent was not functioning at it's best because the dryer ducts were not installed properly. I was okay with the dryer air flow as I didn't expect Kevin to fix the installation issues. However, it was very professional of Kevin to call me back at a later time, after he checked with his contacts on fixing the installation problem, gave me another appointment to fix the dryer duct work, and completed the work with no additional charges.
