Air System's technician Jorge came out on a same-day call, on a very hot (and I expect busy, in the AC business) Ventura day. He diagnosed and located a leak quickly and efficiently, evacuated and decontaminated the coolant lines, and had me back up and running in short order. Everyone I spoke with at the company in making the call and then having the repair done was pleasant and up-front. The work was professional, and the pricing was fair and per the estimate (but holy smokes, R-22 sure has gotten expensive, but the materials cost what the materials cost). I am a do it yourself type, but needed assistance after I shorted out the transformer on my furnace. We worked through the programming together. Air System Solutions answered the phone, and made a same day appointment, and the technician called to say he was on his way, at the appointed time. We're very pleased with Air System Solutions. We called them, based on Yelp recommendations, when the company that installed our system and that had been servicing it annually, didn't return our calls. We called Air System Solutions and, when we told them that the A/C had stopped working, got us a technician to figure out what was going on. The problem was in the electrical system (not the A/C unit), but Air System Solutions came back and serviced the unit at no additional charge after the electrical problem got fixed. As part of their systems check, they also checked and serviced a component, tucked away in a crawl space, that the guy who installed the system never looked at again. And, when it became clear that we had a leak in the system, the technician recommended that we add more coolant (at a cost of $50) and wait to see if it was simply a slow leak, rather than spend hundreds of dollars to drain the system and replace the condenser. We're very pleased, and recommend these guys highly. read more

Our furnace stopped working shortly before Thanksgiving weekend. It would just blow cold air all the time. I was able to get someone from another company out right away, but their response didn't make sense to me - like they were trying to sell me a new furnace without really looking into it. It took a few days for Air System Solutions to come out, but Jorge quickly got us up and running. He pointed out safety issues about our furnace that were concerning, so I asked for a quote to replace he furnace. I got an email from the owner, Brian, the next morning with a detailed quote with multiple options and model numbers, so I could do my own research and had some choices on features / cost. As Thanksgiving approached, Brian told me that the company was swamped with calls, but that he would personally come out with his field supervisor to do the install so we would be up and running by Thanksgiving weekend. Brian took the time to return calls, answer all my questions and got me comfortable with a quote. They got us a new furnace a few days later, just prior to the Thanksgiving weekend. Every cold morning over the next few days, I was grateful for Brian and the Air System Solutions team. I haven't gotten my first electric and heating bill yet, but I am expecting some savings there, as my old furnace was 30 years old and as Brian explained, furnace technology has gotten a lot better. read more

It was by chance that I saw Brian's trucks in the neighborhood. They were installing central air conditioning in a neighbor's house. My 1999 vintage Central heater had just given up, and needed to be replaced. I had already received a quote from a vendor that was referred by a friend. I called central air solutions and received a call back from Brian, the owner within 30 minutes. He came out the same day, did a thorough evaluation, unlike the other vendor, and gave me two choices of systems. He sent me a detailed written quote within one day. He explained the cost involved and the permits required. His crew completed the work on time, and came out a second day, because I was having difficulty with the remote app on my phone. I received the signed permit card and test shortly after the job was finished. I also received a handwritten thank you card thanking me for my business!
