Don't waste your time with this company shady business. Horrible customer service and they do a crappy job.

Excellent service. We called around 10:00am. Was told they would be there between 11:30 & 12:00. Received a call from Andrew ~ 11:45 telling me it'll be about 15 minutes. Much appreciated Knew exactly what was wrong with my furnace, (flame sensor). Showed me the part that was bad, asked if I had it replaced recently, (had it cleaned, not replaced a few years earlier). He replaced the part, performed a "tuneup", and was done in about 30 minutes. Very respectful of my time and my home. I will certainly call them to perform some annual maintenance on my AC unit this spring and will now call them every fall to have my furnace checked. WAS very disappointed.,.. I used them in spring to clean my AC and received quick service and the tech was very nice. ..Now comes fall and I called to get my furnace cleaned, etc for the winter, ok got a fairly quick appointment...come that day, they didnt show up, No call or anything, I called the 2 numbers listed and the voice mail box was full@!!.I even texted them, Nothing..HOW RUDE TO SEPT UP APPTS AND NOT SHOW UP OR EVEN HAVE THE DECENTLY TO CALL...I GUESS THEY DONT NEED THE BUSINESS read more

Airtime Heating and Cooling / Excel Heating - Spent 6000.00 on a furnace/air conditioner. Andrew was quick to make the deal and take our money but does not care about the customer after the fact. Issues still remain: * Filter rack on our furnace was installed with extremely limited access to remove/replace the air filter. * Furnace "short cycles", and the pilot light has to be turned on/off to get it to work * Damper on vent was never installed. The installation initially went fine; however, after many attempts of having Andrew come back - I have given up. The last attempt went on for weeks, and he finally agreed to come out on a Friday afternoon, but had to cancel at the last minute. I left work early, and he cancelled on me 30 minutes prior the appointment, as he was too busy with other customers. Our problems that still exist: Filter rack - Andrew had admitted on several occasions that this should have been done differently, and took pictures. He left it that "IF" we give a good review for him and his company that he could come back in 2 weeks and fix the filter rack, and install the optional damper both at our cost. He originally quoted us approximately 400 additional dollars, but offered that if we wrote a good review that he could revise the filter rack and place the damper for 200 dollars. Well, we did write up a good review to save some money and were willing to pay 200 dollars. Although, I don't really know if barely having access to removing and replacing a furnace filter should be at our cost, we did want this to be corrected. Months have passed by and has NEVER came back to make the repairs, or adjustments which we agreed to pay. Furnace Short cycles - Andrew's answer via email is that it probably needs a tune-up. The furnace has only has run for a few months; however I cannot get Andrew to come out. Damper - Andrew took pictures initially and measurements and promised to come back in 2 weeks, and months have gone by and I cannot get him to some back, and we would have been more than happy to pay for this option. - Seems to be a recurring theme? - Andrew does not support his work. I would suspect his lack of experience may be what has caused our problems. Perhaps, our job was too big, and just is unable to complete the job. He has mentioned several times that he can come out asap, but only once was an appointment able to be made and then he was too busy. At this point, after offering to come out asap and after making an appointment which he cancelled last minute - we simply cannot trust him if he says he would come out again. He has let us down several times. Why would we think he would show up after this? I have tried on so many occasions to call and/or email, just to Andrew come out and fix and resolve our issues. But he has not come back. He is NOT customer focused, and does NOT care about the customer! So, any advice for potential people looking for a heating and cooling company - I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I have never wrote a yelp review, good or bad, however I feel it necessary to write one this time. We had purchased an air conditioner and furnace in cash from Air Time Heating and Cooling in May. It took them a reasonable about of time to what I thought complete the job. Later my husband and a friend took a look and saw a pipe was not attached and wires were exposed on the air conditioner on the outside. Of course he had been paid in full at this point. We have been trying to contact him since May to present to come and complete the job before winter. I have tried emailing him several times as well as my husband and when I call all I reach is a answering service. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. Tried to keep my business in town but would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. This leaves me in an impossible situation. If I have someone else complete the job it would probably void the warranty. I can't recommend this company enough. If you need service, don't waste your time or money going anywhere else. These guys do it right. Here's our story: It was just one of those weeks. Our 18 month old daughter came down with a nasty cold (who can't fall asleep if it's too hot) and it was time for her bedtime. It had been a pretty hot day outside. We went to turn on the AC, but instead discovered that our blower motor was not working. We had just recently moved into our new house so we weren't sure who to call. I found Air Time on Yelp with good reviews and gave them a call for an emergency appointment. To our pleasure Andrew said he would be able to stop by within the hour even though it was getting late. We were also shocked to find that he doesn't charge for an emergency call fee. Andrew showed up and was very professional. He quickly found the problem. Even though our furnace was only 4 years old, the blower went bad. Some companies don't want to deal with warranty parts, but not Andrew. He took the time to work with the manufacturer to get the blower replaced under warranty. Even more amazing is that Andrew worked very hard to get our AC working that same night. Our blower motor isn't very common, but he was knowledgeable enough to install a compatible blower he had in his truck for us to use in the meantime. He didn't even ask for payment that first night instead allowing us to pay one time upon his return for the final repair. When the part did come in, he showed up and swapped out the blower very quickly. This company is doing things right. The customer service, knowledge and professionalism is top notch. We found our HVAC company. We don't plan to take our business anywhere else. read more

I had trouble getting my AC going at the start of the season. I called Andrew and he was able to squeeze me in first thing. He did a great job diagnosing an electrical problem with my compressor. He's very friendly and knowledgeable and loves too explain what he's doing. I cannot recommend him enough. read more

My central AC went out a few days before a major heat wave hit. Another company came out to repair the unit but determined it was a dead compressor (it was 20+ years old). I called Andrew for a 2nd opinion. He came out immediately and tried to fix it but concurred it was in fact not repairable. He did this 2nd opinion visit for $-0-. He then was able to get a new unit installed the very next day for a great price! He and his assistant did a wonderful job installing the unit and cleaning up afterwards.
