The east side used to be much warmer in the summer, because there were fewer vents. The air is more balanced in our home. We anticipate the system will also be more energy efficient and lower our energy bills. We rehired the American Conservation and Air to install a heat pump in our 400 sq. ft garage studio. The system replaced a window AC/heater unit. Our goal was to cool the studio efficiently and quietly. It works well, and is so much quieter than that window unit.

They came out and asked if I had any concerns with our system and told them down stairs unit was just replaced last year and the other been working fine. The technician then went and removed all of our air filters and told us we should replace them cuz they're dirty and left them on the side of the wall. He then went upstairs to look at the upstairs unit and turn on the AC to test it and went in our attic to look at the system. At this time our system was blowing cold air and everything was fine. He then and called me and said there was a problem and had me come up to the attic. He was trying to explain to me what was wrong but was having a hard time explaining it. Something about the board not working which I was confused and kept asking. Well it's been working completely fine today so I don't understand. He then told me I should just call our home warranty and they can fix it. Still confused as to if it was broken or not but said okay. Maintenance the other one. I thought this was very strange but figured out. I'll just have someone take a look at it. He then calls me outside about our brand new unit and tells me this one is broken as well. Once again not making sense and how it was broken that just it wasn't working and I should call the people that installed it and he doesn't want to touch it. It seems since I told him we had home owners warranty, he didn't want to work on any of our equipment because he couldn't upsell us. Also, I think he knew he broke the upstairs and wanted to leave as fast as possible. Once he left and I went upstairs I noticed it was tremendously hot and something wasn't right. I called the office and told them I believe it's broken. When I was looking at the thermostat nothing was working. When I spoke to the series manager he just said that his technician took videos and documented that it was already broken once he arrived. This is obviously not true because if it wasn't working we would have called our homeowners insurance not them to get are semi-annual maintenance before summer. The service manager didn't even try to help us get this resolved and back up and working basically said it was already broken and we are trying to pull fast one. I have never received this type of customer service before. I would never recommend this place to anyone. By far the worst experience I've ever had.

Our unit…read morewas working fine, although admittedly old, but we thought annual maintenance can help prolong the life of the unit. The Yelp page states that Trusted heating and cooling is based on respect and integrity, we did not experience that. We were told the scheduled maintenance to last 2 hours. The technician came in without offering to wear booties. Took down the filters and never put them back in. The technician then looked at the thermostat, turned the A/C on. We felt the COLD air come out. The technician then went to the unit, spent 15 minutes looking at the unit and said it was broken. We said that isn't the case because we could feel cold air at that exact time. He said we should contact our home warranty insurance and walked away. He then looked at our second a/c unit and said it was also broken (it is a brand new unit installed in May 2025) and to go through the company that installed it. He didn't seem like he wanted to work on anything since we told the technician we had home warranty insurance, which would limit his ability to upsell. Once he left, we noticed the first a/c unit stopped working and the thermostat signal light stopped blinking. The heat, fan and A/C stopped working. The other unit is working (thankfully). We immediately called the company back and were told the unit was broken and they will charge us $900 to fix it. And a technician couldn't come back until the next day. We told them our side of the story, how everything was working fine, but they shrugged it off. Stated they have video evidence it doesn't work. The technician was able to use the thermostat, the thermostat light was blinking and the unit was working properly. And now it is reported that it's broken upon seeing the unit. Trusted Heating and Cooling isn't taking accountability for the problem they caused, no ownership and no customer service to even offer to look at the unit to review what the technician reported and to try to fix it. They are following a report with notes that wasn't discussed with us and completely disregarding our point of the view. Do not use this company, as documented with other the reviews. We now need to find another solution to their problem, as we are now left with a A/C system that no longer works.

Overall we spent ~15k for the unit and install. We haven't gone 30 days without a breakdown yet. Each time it got qc'd, we were told everything was fixed. So far issues have been : - Badly installed drainage leading to water damage - Debris in drain - Refrigerant leak from install - Blown electrical unit. Every root cause was from something done incorrectly during install. We have damaged and unrepaired siding from install, water damaged drywall and paint from the follow on issues. Inspite of these repeated issues from install and failures, each call out for no AC has been treated as if we were calling for the first time and the only proactive communication was for ensuring the city code inspector passed it.

Called Airsheen on Sunday morning and our tech Sandy came out within the next hour. Very thorough and diagnosed two issues needing to be fixed. Bottom line- she was awesome and got the house cool again. By next morning, our system was working great and house was cool and comfortable. These folks are thorough, explain what they are doing, very fair in pricing! I signed up for their regular maintenance because I was so impressed with them! Well, Shahin, who is a sort of company partner and 15-year professional, will make room in his schedule to show up early and cobble something together, while you decide what to do next. After so much frustration from dealing with a home warranty company, my husband found Pure Aire. The owner (I think) is Matt. He has been beyond amazing to work with. He went above and beyond so much for a simple inexpensive job that a month ago we replaced our AC and went with them. Here's why we will never use anyone else. Integrity and honesty. We paid a very very far price for the unit we had installed, they added extra features for us without charging and followed our requests even when we weren't home to know if they did or not. We are an immunocompromised household, and requested they wear masks while working. Even though we weren't home and they were at our home for hours, we saw them masked. They even wore booties and took them off and on when they entered and exited. Besides the integrity, and the great price and service, they showed up on time and finished up when we expected.
