An Airus box truck smashed the left rear corner of our car when it tried to squeeze past on a narrow street. Our vehicle was not moving. The driver, Nesar, begged us not to call the company because he was afraid he would lose his job. He promised he would pay for the repair out of pocket. We took pity and foolishly believed him. To his credit, he did meet us at the first of several collision repair shops where we took the car for estimates. But he didn't like the estimates, even after we found a shop that would use second-hand parts to bring the cost down. He eventually stopped returning our calls. After a month or so of this, I finally called Airus and spoke with Ali, who asked me to email a written account of the incident so he could forward it to the Claims department. I did, but never heard back. I called and emailed many more times over several months, always getting the same response that the claims department was unavailable, but that I would be hearing from them soon. More silence followed. It has now been almost a year since the incident. Beware. This company has no integrity and is not interested in making things right. read more

Where do I begin...I was disappointed with this moving company. By far the most unprofessional movers I have ever dealt with. They arrived late and 2 of the movers I guess was new and inexperienced. not to mention they were pretty skinny and doesnt seem to be strong enough to move alot of things without another person's help. The pics on yelp and google were deceiving and the reviews too! There was no buff guys and I'm not sure what others were talking about when they say these guys move fast and efficient. def could've fooled me. I had a gut feeling that this was not going to be good the moment they arrived and started to work. One of the guys was literally super slow and talked on the phone 3/4 of the time he was working. I had a 4 bedroom 2 bath apt. I packed up alot of boxes on my own and was thinking this should be pretty easy considering I made sure I had 4 guys working the move. By the way, this is literally the 4th time I moved apartments since I lived in seattle for over 13 years now. There was only 1 bedroom that was halfway done. In which the slow guy was packing that room for almost 2 hrs. So, in total they packed up my apartment in 6 hrs. and I was baffled. I even got them some mcdonalds for snack or something in between and yet they took so long and moving so slow I was really upset. I didnt sleep the night before because I was packing so many boxes so that we can get out of my apartment at least in 3 hrs especially when there were 4 guys! The only thing I do appreciate is the fact that they wrap things up alot. But that was also the very thing that slows them down too. I didnt even have alot of furnitures either. I gave away 1 futon couch, table and 2 tv's for them. My new place was a 3 bedroom 2 bath place with an elevator. Took them another 3 hrs to move everything in that apt. We did stop by a storage unit to drop off some stuff and that took one hour. Keep in mind this is all within 10 min drive from one apt to another apt. So in total it was a 9 hr move that cost me $1750 and I tip them $250. Even after all that i still tip them. I wish I had taken the before pics and vids of my old apartment to show that I did not have that much stuff to prove that I am not crazy. I was not even moving into a house. c'mon now...I was moving down from a 4 bedroom to a 3 bedroom. Never again will I use this moving company. I'm not sure who they hired to do my move but all I remembered one name Ali who spoke good English was the decent one. I felt completely ripped off. read more

They lost half of our things during our move which included several months of secure storage. It became clear that their long term storage was at a public storage place in federal way and they either have someone who is a thief or they failed to pay for the unit and the unit was sold off on STORAGE TREASURES. I was able to locate 1/8 of my things on Offerup and the person selling my things said they acquired the items through a storage auction, which likely means they stopped paying on the storage unit. THey also lied because when asked, they stated my things would be in secure storage that they OWN and when I tracked down the storage location, it was public storage in Federal Way. They kept stalling when i repeatedly asked where my things were, because i think they lost track of my things and had zero idea where my things were. I lost irreplaceable items and they will not compensate you at all. They send you to a company they say helps remediate damaged and lost items and it is a total scam. - I lost thousands of dollars or items and they offered me $75.00 for compensation. It is a joke. Airus movers will take zero responsibility for losing or damaging your items. DO NOT -- DO NOT hire them. if you filter for bad reviews you will see that there are alot of complaints of lost items and damaged items. A few of the larger items i managed to get back were damaged or missing pieces. Truly Horrible experience. Staff found that the company failed to complete criminal background checks for nine employees and allowed three drivers to operate without a valid medical certificate on 143 occasions." read more

Company called me multiple times from multiple different numbers trying to get my business. It almost felt like they were harassing me. When I spoke to one of them on the phone saying I has found someone else they prodded why and asked what rate the other company was offering. Felt bullied into giving them the information and almost stalked with the amount of calls from different numbers. I blocked their calls and they kept using different numbers. They opened up one of my bins with very expensive fabric in it and put one of my folded pet crates in it. Now there is dirt and pet hair inside of the bin, but fortunately I had a layer of foam on top of the actual fabric. If it was damaged or not, why the hell would you open someone's bin and throw ANY item in it??? One of my lamps was dented and damaged so now paint is flaking off. My desk got damaged on one corner which I watched happened. I was so exhausted, in pain from an injury, and stressed out from leaving a bad situation that I had no idea how to react. A lot of the boxes were stacked on their side, too. I haven't been able to go through everything in my storage box because of my injury, but that was just so egregious I had to post now. The move cost me about $1100 and I gave an $100 tip out of kindness even though I am poor, but when I found out my privacy was violated I felt foolish for being so nice. Like SERIOUSLY. It has taken me awhile to be in a place to actually write this review and I should also caveat that I have personally moved multiple times due to my career. I had reached out to a moving broker to schedule a move for my parents who were downsizing, as they moved from the east side of Washington State to the west side of the State. I explained that we needed a full service move that included packing up everything, loading it, transporting it to their new address, unloading, unpacking large items and taking away any debris. They had a 3 day window to arrive and while they initially did not arrive on the date that was communicated to me, they did arrive within the 3 day window. Even though we had completed a virtual walkthrough of their house, garage and shop, it was apparent that the truck they arrived in to move my parents was not large enough based on earlier conversations. It was complete chaos from the moment the 3-person moving team arrived that afternoon. The second challenge we encountered was them demanding to complete the move in a single day; including drop off and unload. Considering a normal drive for this 336 mile move would be almost 6 hours after fully packing and loading their truck, they were fully aware that my parents did not gain access to their new home until 3 days later; this was in the contract. It took them calling their supervisor and me hearing him yell at them to make it happen. They immediately wanted to be paid in full instead of 1/3 at time of pickup and 1/3 at time of delivery (1/3 was already placed as a deposit). They also were demanding to be paid in cash instead of cashiers check; which everything had been determined with the broker prior to their arrival. They brought used boxes that were not in good shape and haphazardly threw items in the boxes without utilizing any packaging materials that led to multiple items being damaged. This included using wardrobe boxes, but without the metal hanging rod; throwing all of my parents clothes in and the boxes buckling. Due to them not bringing the right size moving truck, we incurred additional expenses to rent a 15' U-Haul, buy packing supplies and our time to load the truck and drive it over ourselves; placing us a full day behind and needing to reserve hotel rooms we were not expecting too. Unfortunately, I was not able to be at my parents new home for delivery of their items. This led to the movers not providing my sister with the itemized list of numbered boxes and what was in them (they left the original destination without providing it, so we had to ask at delivery,) even though she asked. While unpacking, we had no idea if an item was for a bedroom, living area, kitchen, etc. This was just the tip of the iceberg. When they arrived to deliver the items, they continually harped on my sister that they had to be paid up front and also demanded they be tipped at this time. They demanded that my sister call me to find out where their tip was. I informed them that since it was the same moving crew and we had incurred so many issues, there would not be a tip. This led to (and I was expecting it) them not fully completing the unpacking of large items and leaving debris throughout my parents' home after they left. I reached out multiples times to seek remedy and received no response. I have attached a few photos to show the condition and lack of safely/securely packing my parents belongings. Everything from throwing my parents vinyl collection into a box, to damaging a television and standing it on end after unpacking, damaging lamp covers, placing wall hangings in a box with electronics and not protecting them, and damaging their beverage refrigerator. This was supposed to be an exciting new chapter for my parents and it has been marred by this experience. I highly recommend against moving with this company and always find out who your broker is hiring for the actual move. read more

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I didn't have a chance to work with Airus Movers. I called on Monday to schedule a move on Sunday same week, we agreed on everything and I was waiting for the agreement and a way to pay the deposit. I got a late call on Wednesday and an email stating that they are overbooked on Sunday and they offered Monday instead (which obviously doesn't work as our lease is over by then) and quote increased from 3-5 hours to 5-7 hours.
