When I first booked the appointment, Mitchell reserved 1 hour for me. To be honest, I wondered why purchasing a refurbished chair would take an entire hour! However, once I arrived, I completely understood why. Mitchell spent 1.5 hours with me showing all the details of the chair and teaching me how to properly set and adjust it. He is a true expert on what he sells, very friendly, and also very funny. Time flew by so fast that I didn't even realize we had spent an hour and a half together. The rewards system was a learning process. First, you need a Staples account. Recommend downloading the app. Each ink cartridge you recycle gains you 500 pts. That rate's allowed for up to 6 cartridges per month. After that, it's 100 pts per cartridge in the same month. (So I should've saved my 7th cartridge onwards for next month). Staples website/app doesn't clearly tell you that 200 pts = $1. (That means each cartridge gave me $2.50) (And my 3200 pts translated to $16. And 9 cartridges gets $16.50.) - Staples should just do 100 pts = $1 for simplicity. And clearly declare the exchange rate on their website & app. + The associate was right, the points became usable within 10min. Yippee! . Staples' webpage on their rewards seems outdated. [ https://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/products/perm/18384_sambenefits_update/g10.html?KPSI=1 ] The contradictions I found: . $2.50/ink (not $2 per). . up to 6 per month (not up to 20 per). . Rewards are issued within 10mins (NOT "monthly"), thank goodness. May '24: tl,dr: Interesting office supplies, but not the best layout. Likes: + I like that I can make a quick drive here from work to find just about any office supply I may need. + Polite, helpful staff. + Their Amazon locker uses Bluetooth technology for our convenience. Non-likes: - I really didn't like the Amazon locker placing strategy of this store. It was placed very inconveniently in the far back corner of this big store. Meaning, one would have to walk all the way back there just to make a quick pick-up. - There were no signs indicating where to find the Amazon locker. I had to ask the cashier for directions. Further inconvenience for the general customer, like if the cashier was unavailable. I wish they put the Amazon locker by the store front entrance.

I happened by Office Demands because theyre on the way to my office and wanted to see what they had in stock. They have a big warehouse with all kinds of office furniture: desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc. After showing me some new desks, I asked the salesman, Ricardo, if he had any used desks. He showed me a nice big desk and credenza which was $125 for both pieces. I came back a few hours later, his guys loaded it and I was outta there.
