We love working with Airworks! It was time to replace our 20 year old a/c unit. Upon calling Airworks they sent someone out right away to check out our existing set up and recommended we update our whole HVAC system. We asked them to send us all our different options so we could see how we wanted to move forward and see what was in our budget. We were not haggled or pushed to make a decision. We actually even forgot about it for awhile. They were very helpful in sending everything through emails where it's all explained very well. The communication from this company is amazing. Emails and texts kept us very up to date, even up to the minute, of when technicians would arrive. The crew was on time, professional, clean, and very thorough. They worked very hard all day with hardly any downtime. We had our whole system replaced in one day! At the end of the install the technician walked me through exactly what they did and showed me the new systems and what they installed. They reassured that I could call back at anytime with any questions or if we needed anything tweaked after a couple weeks they would be happy to come back out to work with us. I can't say enough good things about this company. I started the process of trying to replace our air conditioning system over a year ago. Some companies came out, spent time and then never produced a bid. Others gave a bid, but I just wasn't comfortable. Then a neighbor used Air Works to replace his unit and was singing their praises. Mike came out, looked at my system and gave me a couple of options including zoning (I was complaining about my ridiculous electric bills each month.) And then he patiently took my 3-4 follow up calls, each time offering detailed explanations to my questions. I finally signed the agreement and they started my job within a week. Every member of the crew was polite and professional. James and Andrew led the crew and it was like watching a well choreographed production. In fact, it was interesting to see that James had detailed diagrams and the crew seemed like they'd have periodic huddles to look over the plans. The first company that came out greatly inflated repair cost and advisability and pushed for whole system replacement at outrageous prices which, of course, they could start same day. Our system is 11 years old and AIr Works Solutions added Freon and leak fix for 1/4 of what the upsellers quoted and said we had at least 10 to 11 more years on the unit. I called 3 places with no response (except "please leave a message") before I called Airworks. I had a very good experience speaking with the friendly rep on the phone, and made my appointment for repair for the day after I called. Surprisingly, they even called later on to tell me that a repairman could come earlier than expected, which was great, even though I was not able to take advantage of the earlier time. As far as the actual repair, the repairman they sent was able to diagnose the problem quickly, even after testing a number of things. He explained the issue and the repair clearly. He even gave us a heads up on potential issues/things to watch with our HVAC system, which, fortunately, we don't have to worry about right now. Other than that, I appreciated the little details like the repairman covering his shoes before entering the house, taking pictures of the repair and replacement parts and emailing it to us. I also like Airworks tracking system, which tells you how far away the repairman is from your house. All in all, we had a very positive experience with Airworks and will definitely call again in the future for any HVAC work. read more

I was recommend to AirWorks by a trusted friend. I have never used any air/heat servicing company before and have no experience working on the units myself. Unbeknownst to me, I had simply knocked a piece loose when changing my filter. I saw a leak and thought the worst! AirWorks was very friendly and understanding on the phone. They scheduled a technician who called ahead and came within the expected time frame. He was clean, courteous, and helpful. After inspecting my leak he adjusted the part and even recommended the best and cost effective way to prevent it from reoccurring! After expecting to pay several hundred dollars to replace and repair the unit, I got advice on doing it myself and only owed the nominal service fee. I contracted for duct replacement/ asbestos remediation April 2023. They contracted with the remediation company, not me. When i went in the attick to inspect, i realized they did not remediate the part of the ducts that sit inside the boot, but encapsulated with white paint. There were five of them. When i asked them to come back out, an employee went into the attick and said that is not asbestos. I went back down to get my box cutter and etched through the white paint to asbestos. Then he said: "most people dont go into there attick". I said you should have known better as i have plywood throughout for storage. Then he said "we dont remediate those parts, we encapsulate" I said: " thats not what your contract says. what do your top two competitors do? If i call them, will they say what your are telling me?" Then he decided it would be remediated and they would come back. Then there is an salesperson that has been badgering me in the last week or so to do a service of my system. I told her that Southland HVAC has already done it. She persisted in trying to get me to contract with them again and that this would include the duct system. Why would i need the duct system serviced. Ther are no moving parts. The air flow does not need to be adjusted with the dampers. Dont be fooled by "its a family business" Its just another business that takes short cuts. read more

One of our A/C units was chugging away with no cold air coming through the ducts.. never a good thing on a warm summer day. Especially for the upstairs unit! I called AirWorks at the recommendation of someone in the neighborhood and am so glad I did! The tech, Jared, showed up on time with allll the answers and a great sense of humor (always appreciated in our home). He diagnosed the issue AND fixed it within a 1/2 hour. He also cleaned the dirty fingerprints off the attic access panel that the *electrician* left.. he didn't even make the mess he cleaned up and assured me he was happy to do it.
