My AC didn't seem like it was operating properly. Despite my thermostat being set for 75, when the outside temperature was 101, the thermostat showed the inside temperature being 84. The air flow from the registers read 80. I had a very positive experience with Todd from Rincon. When I showed him the figures, he speculated my AC was low on refrigerant. He gave me a price estimate assuming refrigerant had to be added to the AC unit. After checking pressure readings on my AC unit, he added two pounds of refrigerant to the AC unit and the air flow temperature started coming down. He then checked for possible leaks and found one which he was able to repair. During the time he was working, Todd answered my questions which helped me better understand what to expect regarding my AC unit. I am delighted to report that the inside temperature eventually dropped down to the thermostat setting and the air flow coming from the registers was 20 degrees cooler than the inside temperature. Todd indicated that is what I should expect. The next day everything is working as expected. The Inside temperature matches the thermostat setting and the air flow from the registers is 20 degrees cooler than the inside temperature. Todd was easy to communicate. He was able to repair the leak and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. I will be requesting him for any future servicing my AC might need. read more

Asked them to come over and fix my roof heatpump. Took a circuit board out and told me it was fried. Eventually gave me a quote I guess it was fair. Called twice to get my circuit board back guy came back without it. Our daughter had just died and didn't have time nor was in the mood to deal with it. Now I'm thinking I'll report the theft and go to small claims. Anybody have any ideas. read more

The team of men, Ricky, Logan, Danny, and Marco, did a superb installation--removing the old furnace and installing a new heat pump, some ductwork, and outside condenser--all on a 106 degree day with not a single complaint. They even painted the new ductwork in the Arizona room so that it now blends seamlessly with the beams. Even my handyman was impressed! If I could give Rincon 10 stars I would. They were absolutely amazing! John returned my inquiry promptly, accommodated our schedule and was very kind. Having just moved into our new home in December, we had no idea that our AC wasn't working properly until last month when the temperatures got really warm. We turned on the AC and NOTHING! I contacted Rincon and was given an appointment within two days. Another company told me they could come out as overtime or on June 3rd. Yeah, okay, sure. NO THANKS. Todd arrived ahead of our appointment time, diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse and faulty thermostat. He fixed both issues and changed the filters in under an hour! AMAZING!! He was kind,professional,efficient and even put up with our barking Yorkie. Laugh. When my A/C started blowing room temperature after a power surge, I was super worried about the costs associated with fixing it. Knowing the HVAC industry in the desert is hell bent on up selling, we were worried. After doing some research online from locals about local HVAC companies, we settled on Rincon Air-Conditioning and we are glad we did. The gentleman that came to service the ac, tested from the least expensive fix to what the actual problem was and explained what he was doing and why in the process. Our compressor had failed after the power surge during the storm, the unit was old anyway, installed in 2007. They were very professional, had what was needed on hand and installed the new ground unit on the same day. They do not try to immediately upsell you, they give you all the options and let you decide on your own with no pressure. We were desperate. Our AC went out on July 3rd. We had our family and little grandkids staying with us and a big party scheduled for the 4th. It was supposed to be 105 that day and was already approaching mid-80s inside our house. I started calling around to whatever names popped up in the google search to hope to find someone, ANYONE, to come out that same day. Rincon was an answer to our prayers. They told us Jay would be out to see us between 12-3. He was so very helpful and gracious to deal with our situation and had the fan motor in his van. Add me to the growing list of glowing reviews for Rincon AC. It was a complete accident I stumbled on them when our HVAC guy stopped dealing with extended warranties. Having two properties both with these purchased extended warranties, that was a bit of a blow and off in search of a company that would honor them and Rincon came through. Since then they have been our HVAC company and have continued to be professional and knowledgeable with both routine maintenance and a couple of unexpected breakdowns. We also have an apartment and decided to update and upgrade the heating and cooling there by installing a new mini-split and having all the old baseboard, swamp cooler and window-type A/C unit removed. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of of the work, the professionalism of the fellows doing the work and we felt it was a very fair cost. Thank you, Rincon!!! Have had a maintenance contract with Rincon for years, when I moved from eastside to midtown, they installed a new heat pump....Excellent service! This summer has been miserable! My house suddenly warmed to uncomfortable on a 115 degree day--called-John apologized "Can't get Neil out there until noon!!!!" I had expected at least a day or two! I returned from errands--Cool, comfortable house again!!! Then after a power serge on Sat, late afternoon--messed up the system--I had a call Sun morning by 8!
