She was professional, polite, patient, understanding and kind. In these days and times to even speak to a live person is a miracle. So I give even more stars to AIT for having such great staff. I'm only leaving a 1 star review because I can't leave a 0 star review. They are beyond horrible. My experience with AIT World Logistics was marked by poor communication, significant delays, and financial loss on my part. On June 16, I never received a notification regarding the scheduled arrival time on June 17--no phone call, text message, or email was sent. I had to follow up twice that day just to obtain the installation window so that I could coordinate someone to be present. After two phone calls I was given a window of 2-5pm the following day (June 17). My father arrived at my home on June 17 and was ready at 2:00 PM for the scheduled window. He waited the entire window -- and an additional 45 minutes -- before the technician finally arrived, nearly two hours late. By then, no one was available to meet the technician in person. I had to rearrange my own schedule and was late for a scheduled appointment with a client in order to coordinate with the technician over the phone just to ensure the hoop installation could proceed. This was a birthday gift for my son, whose birthday was on June 21, so I had little choice. However, this disruption directly affected me in terms of my job and my professionalism. When I returned home that evening, I found the new hoop left in the driveway and being rained on, even though my wife arrived home while the technician was still there and it could have been brought into the garage. I had to move it myself after a long day. I called to file a complaint on Wednesday, June 18 and requested a free haul-away service as compensation for the inconvenience and impact upon my job. I was told that only a manager could authorize that, and I would receive a call back. In the meantime, I PAID for the haul-away service of the old hoop as an add-on to my existing order, being told that it would be completed during the technician's return visit on Friday, June 20. On Friday morning (6/20), I moved the old hoop from my garage and back to the driveway. When I returned later that day, the new hoop had been installed but the old hoop was still there -- the haul-away had not occurred. Additionally, there were bits of trash and equipment strewn all over my lawn that I had to pick up. As of that point, I had still not received a return call from a manager. I had now paid for a service that was not rendered. On June 21, I called again to report the issue. I was told someone would return to complete the haul-away within 24-48 hours, and that I would receive notification beforehand. I also requested to be contacted by Jacque, the manager for the region, so that I could directly communicate about this ongoing issue. I received a voicemail from Jacque and called him back within 1 hour but received his voicemail whereby I left a message. I have since called two more times requesting an email from him but have, to date, not received one. As of today, July 1, the old hoop is STILL sitting in my lawn. Not only have I paid for a service that has not been rendered, but I also remain concerned about safety--my children are actively using the new hoop with the old one still behind it. If one of them is injured due to this negligence, I will have no hesitation in pursuing legal action. read more

OK communication ahead of time about when they were supposedly coming to deliver our furniture, but absolutely lousy follow through. Waited all afternoon for the delivery window, finally called the local terminal an hour and a half after the scheduled delivery window ended and was told that they would deliver it the next day. No call from the driver or from AIT dispatcher to let me know that I would be waiting all day with my thumb up my Axx for nothing. I told the terminal contact not to deliver before 2pm as we would not be there, so of course the driver delivered at 1pm, lying to a neighber saying we had given them permission to just drop the items off which was absolutely not true. All boxes were strapped together on one pallet and left out in the weather. One of the boxes bundled on the pallet was pressed into another, damaging the dresser we had ordered. Terrible company, does not respect their clients' time and showed extremely poor communication and service. Do not recommend using these clowns. read more

I was expecting a piece of equipment to be delivered and received a confirmation link with the scheduled date and time. After the time slot passed, I called to follow up, only to be told that the delivery truck had been in an accident and wouldn't be coming. I rescheduled for later in the week, but when I called to confirm on the day of delivery, there was no record of my shipment being scheduled at all. Trying to get answers was frustrating. The representative I spoke with wasn't helpful--his only response was to ask me for three available days. I see that a signature is required and I want to inspect the item so I took the day off work. FF: Sept 10, 2024, 01:30 pm... I used AIT's online chat, and a lady named Yuliana told me that my delivery was never out for delivery today. I told her that I took 8 hours off of work to sign for and inspect this package, and I want to be reimbursed for the wasted time. She told me there was nothing she could do about it and told me to contact Sam's Club. I tell her it is not Sam's Club's fault, it's AIT's fault. I did my part and paid for the item. Sam's did their part and shipped the item. AIT gave me a delivery date and time and has not fulfilled their part. Yuliana then disappears... the next lady Isabel appears and asks what I want and I tell her I'm looking for Yuliana because she is hiding behind her keyboard and is running away from the problem at hand. She tells me all the other ladies before her went to lunch and that my delivery has been canceled and sends me a screenshot... My delivery was canceled Sept 10, 2024, at 01:32 pm... 32 minutes after the latest time it was supposed to be delivered. Jackie then disappears... A wild pokemon Tyree appears in the chat. Tyree contradicts everything Joe told me saying they cannot and will not be coming today. Tyree was the most knowledgeable person I interacted with today only after I asked him who to contact to send small claims court documents for loss of wages. I will give that information in the pictures. I asked Tyree to reschedule my delivery date and time to the first stop on Saturday, Sept 14, 2024. Tyree agrees and says he will give me a call when that date and time is locked in. Now I am on the phone with a Sam's Club supervisor, she is saying that AIT does not deliver on Saturdays. I message Tyree asking if AIT delivers on Saturday and Tyree ghosts me and passes me off to Mohamed. It's been 12 minutes since I've asked Mohamed to send me back to Tyree with zero response. We ordered a basketball hoop, and I spoke with a representative on the phone about removal of our old one. Removal and disposal of the old hoop was $570, which I paid ahead of the service. They did not mention that they don't take away the concrete from the old hoop after excavation. I explicitly stated the new hoop needed to be where the old one was, so it was known ahead of time the concrete around the old hoop needed to be excavated. I was left with two large wheelbarrows full of concrete dumped in my driveway and forced to pay an extra $175 for removal of the concrete in addition to the hoop removal. They did not tell me this until the concrete was on my driveway and I had no other option but to pay the fee. Poor communication and questionable business practice for sure. This has to be the WORST freight/logistics company out there. I have had two HORRIBLE deliveries from AIT. Both times I was given a SIX HOUR WINDOW that the delivery driver showed up almost an hour outside (4:45PM for a 10a-4P window). Never called. I ended up calling. Both times the TV delivered has a 2 person threshold delivery requested and ONE very elderly woman who can barely walk was the ONLY delivery person. The first delivery of the 75 inch TV we ordered from Sam's Club was beat up and the box was damaged, but the driver (who by the way could barely get it on a dolly and had to have my husband help) told us it was Sam's problem and to call them for a return. Second time - same driver - I met the truck and she told me that the box had nails in it and was crushed by 400lbs of items on the pallet but she HAD to deliver it as she was directed to. I refused to take that TV (as I already have a broken one that AIT won't pick up even though I have a return order from Sam's). She told us they knew it was probably broke but they are told to MAKE customers take the item. Additionally, when I called to see where the driver was the dispatch told me they NEVER send two people no matter what the order says. I have notified Sam's club. We purchased a treadmill from Dicks (that's a whole other story of incompetence - never again). They ship through this company AIT. I could NOT get any info on when this thing would ship. We were going out of town and wanted to make sure it would come after we got back so finally I had to hold off buying until after because I could not get one person from Dicks or anywhere to give me any information - remember, these places do not hire qualified people - they hire anyone who wants a job. So I finally order and finally get someone on the phone. We're on the phone for a good 15 minutes as she takes down all the information - when we want it delivered (Friday, Saturday or Sunday - can't have it delivered on the other weekdays because I'm not home and can't have them just leave a 250 pound box on the sidewalk which is what they claim to do). We are on the phone making sure she had every piece of info she needs. She was very detailed. Good to go. I get a call a couple days later saying the thing will be delivered on Wednesday. Literally what I said not to do. How you can be any more incompetent I do not know. So I call this company, get another lady who says she has none of the info the first lady took. None. So the entire 15 minutes I spent on the phone with the first lady giving her all the information was never given to anyone. She probably wasn't even writing it down. She was playing Candy Crush on her phone while she was talking to me. So this lady takes all the info again including the days, and finally set it up to get it on a Friday in a week and a half. The thing is literally 30 miles away but it will take a week and a half to have it delivered. Just accept that these companies work slow - nothing I can do about that. So I start getting text and emails confirming. I got three texts the first day "just want to confirm your time." I keep hitting yes, it's confirmed but they are run by morons. Two more texts the next day of the same thing. Literally ignoring the last text. That's 5 texts in 24 hours "confirming" my deliver time. Then the emails comes. See my screen shot. I got this email EVERY DAY. Every. Stinking. Day. Right up to the last day. I kept emailing "I've confirmed this with you ten times now, why do you keep sending this?" No response. On the sixth one I did get a response from a guy saying "yes, you're confirmed, I don't know why they keep sending but I'll check it out." They kept sending it anyway and I kept responding. No more responses from them. Now they were seeing my response because the guy did respond one time. But they chose to ignore my responses. Why? Because the don't give two sh!ts. It's a poorly run a company as their is. I mean, I don't get to pick who ships this stuff, Dicks does and they picked about the worst run company next to them. Read the other reviews. Of course Dicks doesn't care, they are like Home Depot. The hire contractors without a thought to the possibility they are terrible companies. As long as they don't have to deliver. The thing did come - the delivery guy was a nice guy - literally at the very last minute. The time frame was 12-3 and he arrived at 3pm, I kid you not. He said "man, it was 2 and a half hours." Last week, I ordered a treadmill from Dick's Sporting goods. I have no complaint with them. They are awesome! The problem I have is with AIT, the delivery service that, I assume, will deliver my treadmill. This remains to be seen. Anyway, I got an email from them telling me they will call to schedule a delivery date and time. Over a week later I have yet to get a call from them. In the meantime I made contact with them 4 different times. I asked a "team member" when I can expect a call so I can schedule a delivery date. Each time I called (4 times) I got 4 different answers. One email I got from them told me it would be delivered no later than the 3rd of September. My intuition alarms went off doubting this. When I called again, the person who handled my call said it would take "24 to 21 days." Really?! So with my last call the person told me that I would get a call either by the end of this past Friday, or, by Monday. I will call them Monday, something I should not have to do, and I anticipate that I will be given BS excuses from someone who has no clue as to what to do, at which time I will escalate my complaint to the corporate office. By all means, by your treadmill, or whatever, from Dick's Sporting goods. But ask who will the delivery service be. If they say AIT, ask for an alternative company. I ordered a new tv from Sam's and had never heard of AIT until they were assigned to deliver my tv. I can see why they have perhaps the worst rating of any business I have ever encountered. Didn't deliver on the assigned date in the 12 hour window I had arranged or communicate that they would not be delivering it. I have spend hours on the phone, spoken to numerous managers and dispatchers and no one seems to care how terrible they are or that they haven't delivered my expensive tv that I have paid Sam's club for. Terrible business. Was told my 2 pieces of furniture (being picked up from HomeSense in Bedford going to Allenstown) would be delivered on Saturday AM. Nothing arrived. I called after 2p on Saturday to get an update. Was on hold for 45 minutes waiting for an agent and finally hung up. I called again on Sunday. Nothing. Finally received a text message Sunday afternoon that my furniture wouldn't be delivered until Monday. Who runs a business like that? They delivered my package by throwing it in a snow covered ditch across the street. I had to return it due to it being damaged. They came to pick it up and backed into my internet wire ripping it out of my house and leaving it hanging in a tree blocking my drive. They then got in their truck and left. In February 2024, AIT contracted a company to deliver a large box to my home in High Point. The delivery guy arrived at 4pm and backed a large delivery truck into my driveway where there were low hanging (12-13') utility wires directly above the driveway. The driver sent me a pic of the box in my driveway showing the box had been delivered and I could see the wires were still attached to the house. The pic also showed the truck was still parked beside the house. At 5:30pm, I arrived home and found the lowest hanging wire on the ground and noticed it had been pulled away from my house causing minor damage ($250). This could only occur as the truck was leaving for it to pull the wire away from the house. Since no other deliveries were made to my house between 4-5:30pm and only a very large truck could've made contact with the wire, I filed a claim with AIT. AIT informed me the deliver company denied responsibility for the damage (duh). Almost 75 days later! and after numerous emails and ignoring my phone call request, I was only offered half the amount to fix the damage and the payment was scheduled to arrive 30-45 days later. Ordered a dining set from Sam's Club. This was the shipping company. There was very little information given upfront about how delivery would go. When I got my delivery window, they sent a "receipt" (how is there a receipt when it hasn't been delivered?) that indicated the delivery people would bring the boxes through the first threshold, and that I would need to sign for it. Ok, I can stay home that day. To be fair, it WAS delivered within the given timeframe. However, it was not brought through the first threshold as indicated. In fact, they didn't bother knocking or ringing the doorbell or getting my signature, either. They just dropped the boxes in front of my door and bounced. The kicker? It was raining. Yes, the boxes got wet before I noticed they were sitting out there. Currently, they are sitting out there still, covered by a comforter, as I wait for my husband to get home. The boxes are quite heavy (it's a dining set, after all), so I can't move them inside myself. The order tracker does not even say "delivered," likely because they were meant to get my signature and just...didn't. I just think it's pretty confusing that a company whose primary purpose is shipping and logistics can't complete an order as instructed--or as any reasonable person would assume it should be completed ("Say, maybe we shouldn't leave these out in the rain?"). read more

First time: rescheduled because the box wouldn't fit inside their van (seems like an important consideration to me). Third time: notified DURING my quoted 3 hr window that the driver has the flu and both drivers that service my region the company has been having issues with. They only send/schedule one possible time slot for delivery at a time instead of letting you have options. Unbelievably opaque process, and I'm beginning to lose hope we'll ever get our delivery. HORRIBLE! DO NOT ORDER FROM ANYWHERE THAT USES THIS COMPANY! They cancel ur delivery without even telling you and reschedule you on there times. Worst than the worst delivery company. I will not buy from stores who uses AIT for delivery. They cancel your delivery appointment and ask you to reschedule after already missing thier delivery window. You take time off from work just to be home for your deliveryand they cancel at yhe last minute. The worst of it is that, I had the option to buy and pickup my item on the same day from Walmart and chose to by online from BJs. IT'S services are horrible. read more
