It would have been nice if they ironed the dress I requested hemmed. It was a prom dress so they should have ironed it or requested it done, even if there was an additional cost. All other places I have been to complete their work with pressing the clothing. read more

I came to this place yesterday hoping to get my jeans altered. I had a birthday trip coming up but i had completely forgotten about the jeans until the day before and i asked if i would be able to get them ready by tomorrow morning. surprisingly i was told yes and i came to get them resized and fitted and the lady working there was so nice and kind and even stayed late to get my jeans done knowing this was for a birthday trip. when i came back in to pick up the next day she was there and had the jeans ready and even remembered that it was for my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. 10/10 service i'll be getting any and all jeans resized here in the future. read more

They pulled a bait and switch on me. I called in to get pricing for specific clothes, and after I picked up my clothes, their pricing was higher than what I was quoted. If they want to claim that my garments were longer than standard, then that is information they need to provide over the phone instead of cat fishing. I will not work with a business that does not honor their quoted prices. They need to understand in America disclaimers are a huge Part of running a business and customer service should be number one. read more

AJ Cleaners and Alterations used to be Tho's Cleaners and Alterations and Tho is still there to do the alterations. They do a wonderful job on alterations and they even repaired car floor mats and can create almost anything - costumes, party dresses. However, Dry Cleaning is where they really do well. My all cotton dress shirts normally cost $150-$200 and have noticed that Dry Cleaning them vs. launder helps them last 2-3X longer. Here's what you'll find: A. Good customer service B. Attention to detail, will really try (even run a second cleaning) to clean stains or marks which you point out. They pre-scrub my collars and I've seen an improvement with older shirts. C. Care when pressing, buttons not destroyed or chipped and collars very even. If a button is loose, they will usually reinforce for free if you ask. They have upped the quality of dry cleaning since Tho owned the place herself, the partnership is a welcome addition. Definitely give them a try for dry cleaning, I have posted their current pricing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I needed a last minute alteration on my dress for a vow renewal ceremony. They were very accomodating to my last minute requests. I needed the strap taken in and a separate belt attached. I dropped off my dress in the AM, and the dress was complete within a couple of hours. read more

I went to get my wedding dress dry cleaned and was quoted at 197$. When I went to pick my wedding dress up they changed me 300$! Said the company they use raised their prices. They never called me prior to this price change. I was blindsided and they wanted me to pay with cash or Venmo because they loose money with credit card pay. It was overall a very sketchy experience and I feel scammed. I do not recommend this place. read more

I took my shirts to be ironed only because she said she couldn't clean and press it in one day. I dropped it off at 1130, and she told me to come back by 5. I arrived at 5 and they were both just as wrinkly as when I dropped them off and there was make up on the corner. She claimed it was there before but I don't wear makeup, and she clearly does. read more

When this place was Tho's Cleaners, I had nothing but great experiences. Tho was AWESOME. I'm not sure if Tho is still there but the last four times I went to AJ Cleaner & Alterations, I dealt with two other ladies and had awful experiences. EACH visit, the woman behind the counter was arguing with customers. It was extremely uncomfortable. I was told my jeans would be ready on a Tuesday. I went in on Saturday (4 days later) and they were not ready. The woman pulled my jeans out from under the counter and they were wadded up in a ball. She said to come back Saturday (7 days later). I came back Saturday to pick them up and noticed a new ticket had been created for my jeans. The original price was increased by $40. Thankfully I kept my original ticket. When I got home and tried on my jeans, one pair was not hemmed. I've heard the employees tell customers that Tho still works there. I myself have been told Tho still works there. Tho would have never given me such awful service. read more
