They wanted a little under $2000 for all of these repairs or replacements. I paid for the oil change and air filter replacement. I took the paperwork they gave me to a garage down the street and they said that everything I was told was a complete lie. Transmition fluid needed changed with mileage but the plug was still there and it was not "all over the engine". Breaks were squeaky but fine. There was nothing wrong with the oil pan. She got the fluid changed today for much less than they wanted. This place sucks out loud. They just want to upcharge everything and take your money. Take your car to a real mechanic and not here.

They replaced the flex pipe and that was all but then kept the vehicle overnight, and then replaced it back with original equipment the next day because they couldn't take a review that I did the night before that was full of opinions and not defamation of character. "Wouldn't you be mad if they ruined your car too?" And kept running the car in neutral to see if it would get better. Also, several mechanics drove the car and they all couldn't figure it out. They didn't do a diagnostic that day as they were supposed to do as required by the contract, and later did it the next day because of fear of a lawsuit, and found oil in one of the cylinders. Historically, I had misfiring a few days earlier when it was raining and thought this was caused by the faulty mesh of the flex pipe and water getting into its exhaust. That had dried up when the rain went away, and no check engine light was illuminated now a few days later. The car ran perfect when driving to the shop of Midas for 10 miles. Also, the mechanic is required to do a test drive or at least from the parking lot to the lift. And he or she would be able to see that it was in great working order. I should not have had any problems. I spent $2,100 dollars to fix their problems. New: engine coils (Midas did diagnose this, but did they cause this?...it's hard to say but a subpoena of R* will suffice), coolant tank, stripped oxygen sensor, head gasket, and water pump.
