This time I ordered take out. I do like to dine in, I enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of the place. I love all the Peruvian knickknacks and decorations. It's good food and good sized portions. Nice to know they have lunch specials because it can get pricey. Chaufa de mariscos is the dish I ordered on this day and I was able to share it and still felt I had enough food. Each plate comes with a small chicken soup and bread.

My go to spot for lomo saltado and mariscos saltado. Bread and green sauce always good. I've dined at the restaurant many times and ordered for takeout many times as well. Food is consistently good. The pictures depict the time where II tried the pollo combo and OH em Gee. Amazing.

First time trying Peruvian food and it was amazing! Very fresh and well presented. Staff were friendly too.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the lomo saltado, chicken arroz chaufa and both dishes were very flavorful. They also serve a small portion of a soup that was so yummy. The service was very friendly and the ambiance calm and family friendly with salsa music playing in the background. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first time at Ají Verde and I cannot wait to come back. I met friends here for dinner and we were immediately greeted by the staff who were very kind and accommodating. There was plenty of seating too. We started our meal with the yucca frita and a delicious soup! I ordered the lomo saltado which was cooked to perfection. The beef was tender, the potatoes were not soggy, and the dish is packed with flavor.

My favorite restaurant that went from LB to Paramount but I'll drive all the way to paramount because this family owned business is the best in many aspects! The owners are honestly the sweetest and are always very welcoming! They always make sure everyone is content with their food and service. The food here is delicious! The pollo a la brasa is the best with their fresh made fries and salad! Their green sauce is very addicting as well. Not to mention that you get fresh made bread and Aguadito(a side of Peruvian Chicken Cilantro Soup) with every entree ordered. It's usually always crowded but they're worth the wait. They have Peruvian music playing in the background but not too loud so you can enjoy your food or so that you can talk amongst each other. Authentic Peruvian restaurant, great food, and great service. We showed up during the lunch rush, they were extremely busy, but they still managed to take care of us quickly. We finally tried this spot and it was delicious! Portions were wealthy and are quick to have your order hot and ready when you order for pickup! The menu had plenty of options to choose from and my husband even mentioned that this place had dishes on the menu that were rare to find at just any Peruvian restaurant but this place had it! We will definitely keep this place on our favorites list and will be coming back sooner than later! read more

Wow this place is awesome! I had the lomo saltado lunch special that was so worth it! You get a good amount of lomo saltado, along with a soup and bread. The lomo saltado was flavorful, and the sauce with it was delicious. My meat was a little dry but very tasty. Even the soup with bread was good, you could tasty the quality and love in their food. Fantastic restaurant, I can't wait to go back and try some more food. read more

Wow, I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Their lunch specials are amazing, very affordable, and the food was delicious. They are VERY generous with their portions, I wasn't even able to finish everything and I eat A LOT!! I had the lomo saltados and they did not skimp out on the portions just because it's a lunch special. I was surprised they even added a side of bread (5 pieces) and 2 very large green sauces! I didn't even ask for extra sauce and I'm a person who loves sauce. All this for $7.50? Thats insane and I would definitely be back for more. read more

Just happened upon this spot cause i needed to make a U turn and saw all the lights in this rather dim shopping center. I decided to grab a menu as we always have a horrible time deciding what to eat and hoped I would be able to add Aji Verde to our list of local eateries. They had Aguadito de Pollo which I had to try. It was pretty amazing. Have have since returned for the chicken meal a few times and it is always flavorful and moist. Have had the Bisteck Mondato, Lomo Combinado and the Col de Pollo. All of the meals we have tried have been very tasty. The food is always full of flavor. The aji sauce is on point. We will continue to order food from here as each experience has been excellent. Give this place a try if you are in the area. read more

I want to start off by saying I'm not just saying this because I'm Peruvian but this spot is really yummy! I'm very picky with my Peruvian food since I cook a certain way but this place was great felt back in my home country for a minute! Tried this place once before during Covid shut down so we had to take to go. Today we got to sit and eat inside and all I have to say is that it was amazing. Food is delicious, tasteful and well served. Service was impeccable with the staff being so attentive and friendly. This place is literally a hidden treasure. The food is AMAZING. First of all the place is clean, service was great, staff was super friendly and accomodating and food portions were reasonable for the price. I ordered the lomo saltado and was not disappointed one bit. The waitress initially greeted the table with a small cup of soup and fresh soft bread which was also amazing. Im usually a picky eater when it comes to Peruvian food because I compare everything to how it's made at home by my momma but aji verdes food is right up there in flavor and taste! We had the papa rellena, tacu tacu al lomo and arroz chaufa de pollo - all of which was authentic and cozy. This was our first time eating here. We have been traveling to Torrance for many many years. Tonight the travel from Bellflower to Torrance has ended. We called in our food Tallerin Beef and the 1/2 of chicken meal. The bottom line is the food was tasty, flavorful, and nice spice in the Aji Verde and Roja sauce was the best. Aji Verde is located In a minimall, tucked away in the northeast part of the property. I placed my order via phone for pickup and true to their word it was ready in 15 minutes. Their service was courteous and attentive. They offered me soup because that night they had run out of bread. Although the flavor was good and satisfying, I think there might be improvement still to come. For example, the mixed seafood dish I ordered had 90% octopus, it should have had more variety of seafood. The tallarin verde's noodle was dry and almost chewy but the steak that went it was tender. Also maybe because it was a to go order, there was hardly any garnish to make it visually appealing. The price per dish were reasonable for the portion size. I would come back and give them a second chance because they have potential so maybe it was just an off night. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. The customer service is awesome. They serve delicious food and food is served quickly. I would say this is one of the best Peruvian restaurants we've been to. We also found that the owner used to be one of the owners at Pollo Imperial. It is a very clean establishment. They serve hot fresh bread for starters, and the chicken soup is the best too. I ordered Tacu tacu Montado. That was some tender steak! Everything in that plate was delicious. They mix beans and rice together on the grill. It's really good. Their pollo a la brasa is cooked perfectly. We went 3 times in 2 weeks. You won't be disappointed! read more

Ají Verde is a nice little Peruvian restaurant that serves delicious Peruvian food. We always get Tallarín Saltado, but I've tried the chicken too. It never fails. My kids think this food is the best from all the other know Peruvian restaurants we have tried over the year. The plate comes side soup, and bread. The flavor is just perfect. The portions are the right size, too. I rarely write reviews, but this place really deserves to be at top of your choices when thinking Peruvian food read more

I love this place. Food is incredible, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because a waitress who is there all the time is a real witch...rude with no personality and she should not be waiting tables or be in any job involving customer service. So we ordered 2 Tallarin Saltados, 1 Cebiche mixto, 1 Tallarin Verde. The saltados were good but the Verde was great!!! The Cebiche was pretty damn good considering I let it sit over night. TheAji Verde was the perfect level of spiciness! Overall great place to to eat. The Alfajores were a bit pricey for only 4 small ones and they weren't that great. read more

Like I said earlier more apps and some Chimkin Sandos would totally change the menu, and maybe some more flavor options for the KFC wings.
