I love to get the Molcajete, the mix of the scallops, octopus, shrimp(raw & cooked) with the chile, ahh so good & perfect on a hot day! It comes with tostadas, chile negro & some type of mayo, it all comes together so so good!! The Mojarra Frito is always cooked to perfection! I love the side of chile/lemon jugo that comes on the side with it, goes so perfectly. The bottles sodas of course is the cherry on top!! ***Cash only fyi.

Man! This little place has the freshest mariscos I've had in a while. The make thier michilada mix from scratch from actual shrimp broth! So freaking good. I had to get me some oysters and themed me a magnifico that came with cooked shrimp raw shrimp and callo dr hache (gaiby scallops) in some house hot sauce. I'm so impressed!

I ordered the Aguachiles Verdes and it was very delicious. I love how acidic and spicy it is. The owner was so nice. She gave me a free water bottle upon requesting water.

Ceviche with Avocado (not showing full tostada, this was what I set aside for my meal)

Tried this place based on a craving for ceviche and the rave reviews that it has online. I may have found my new ceviche spot!! Went in to pick up a "tostada" and came out with a large bowl of ceviche that was plenty to eat in one sitting + leftovers for the next day. The ceviche was really tasty and not overly done with lemon. Will return!

This place serves authentic seafood classico from Sinaloa, Mexico. Quality of the seafood is excellent and if you're looking for top quality aguachile in town, look no further than this hidden (not so hidden) local's favorite spot. Restaurant is located within a quiet mall by Artesia Blvd & California Ave Ambiance is a hole in a wall vibe but authentic Mexican. Must try: 1. Augachile Verde - 10/10 2 Mojarra- 10/10 It's a family owned serving amazing food for the locals for many years. Service is amazing. Only thing to keep in mind is their cash only establishment.

    Ceviche de camarón

This place is so underrated. We randomly stopped by as we were craving mariscos and wow! Did not disappoint whatsoever. We had the Jaiva with shrimp and the ceviche de camarón so delicious!!! coming back again! The service was great, very nice waitress. The place doesn't have the prettiest setting lol but the food was amazing and totally worth it to try! Great music just wished they accepted card/zelle. This was cash only very reasonable prices for the plates

Fresh seafood with great taste, the location is edgy but worth the stop. The aguachiles are spicy and have a lot of lemon.

The sauce in the bag felt a bit... watered down like it went for a swim before meeting the seafood. For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. Tip: Sign up to their text newsletter at the restaurant and enjoy a free basket of fries. BTW, their website is down. :(

It;s also just a pretty good quality seafood boil as well. The shrimp was well cooked, and everything was flavorful but not salty. I do think that the deal is now $25 for 2lbs, but that is still cheaper than most places around. I added sausage, corn, and potatoes, and my party of two was full. I also super enjoy the $1 shots of soju. It's 6 shots max per person, but that puts you at a nice buzz for your meal. You can also opt for their Buy 2 Bottles Get The 3rd Bottle Free deal, which would be nice if you have a bigger party.  The service here was super nice, and there wasn't a long wait at all. Sometimes It's Not About the Food... It's About the People…read more Maybe we spoke a little too soon after our last visit... because only three weeks later, hubby and I decided to give San Pedro Fish Market another chance. Looking back now, I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Danny, who has been part of the San Pedro Fish Market family for 19 years. Within minutes, he gave us a sneak peek from the outside of what's to come with the brand-new development expected to open in 2028. The future expansion will span roughly 55,000 square feet and include exciting additions like pickleball courts, a Ferris wheel, and many of the eateries people have loved over the years--just with a fresh, modern twist. Listening to Danny share stories from nearly two decades here was honestly inspiring. One story that truly stayed with us was when he shared that San Pedro Fish Market is where he met his wife. That alone speaks volumes about what this place represents. It isn't just somewhere people come to eat--it's where memories are made, friendships begin, families are built, and lives are forever changed. You could hear the pride in his voice as he talked about how many lives have been touched by this place. It made me realize that for so many people, you simply can't mention San Pedro without thinking about the Fish Market. It's become part of the city's identity. We were also welcomed by Cinderella--yes, that's really her name!--who is also the current Employee of the Month. She's been here for over 30 years, and her kindness immediately made us feel at home. She shared some of her favorite menu items with us, and you could genuinely feel how much heart she has for this place. Employees like Danny and Cinderella are exactly what make businesses special. They're the ones who create lasting memories long after the meal is over. Now onto the food! Seafood Tray Rating: 9.8/10 This visit was night and day compared to our last one. Our seafood tray came out in about 15 minutes, piping hot, incredibly fresh, and absolutely packed with flavor. It honestly reminded us why San Pedro Fish Market became so iconic in the first place. We enjoyed the fried tilapia, large scallops, baby octopus, head-on shrimp, crab legs, mussels, sausage, corn, potatoes, garlic bread, and all the delicious vegetables. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and cooked beautifully. It honestly beats every seafood spot we've tried recently, and this visit completely redeemed our previous experience. And then there was the fried calamari... I honestly have a new standard for fried calamari now. It was unbelievably tender, juicy, lightly crispy, and not rubbery whatsoever. We've ordered calamari at countless restaurants over the years, and this has officially become the one every future calamari order will be compared against. For drinks, hubby enjoyed a refreshing Modelo Michelada, while I cooled off with their Peach Margarita featuring their house tequila, chamoy, and Tajín. On a hot and humid Fourth of July afternoon, it absolutely hit the spot. It packed quite a punch, but it was delicious! The highlight of our visit, however, was meeting Scott, the General Manager. We spent time talking with him about his 35 years in the hospitality industry and his journey with San Pedro Fish Market. What stood out most wasn't just his experience--it was his passion. Listening to him speak about the future of this place, the people behind it, and the history that has made it so iconic reminded me that San Pedro Fish Market has never just been about seafood. It's about generations. It's about family traditions. It's about people creating memories together. Nothing will ever replace the original 65 years of history that made San Pedro Fish Market what it is today. Change is never easy, especially for a place with so much history behind it. But after hearing the stories, seeing the vision, and meeting the people who continue to pour their hearts into this place every single day, I truly believe this is simply the beginning of a new chapter. I cannot wait to see what 2028 brings when the new San Pedro Fish Market opens its doors. I have no doubt that new memories, new traditions, and new generations of families will continue to gather here for years to come. Thank you to Danny, Cinderella, Scott, and everyone who made us feel so welcomed. Your kindness, passion, and genuine hospitality reminded us that the best restaurants aren't remembered just because of the food... They're remembered because of the people. Until we meet again very soon... Happy Eats, and Happy Fourth of July!

I'm not sure how to feel about this place…read more Has a parking lot and TONS of seating, I live nearby so I walked over. Inside is a huge section of picnic tables with QR codes to help you view the menu and order as they deliver right to your table. Service is a 10/10. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful. Food is where I'm lost. Shrimp plate had great flavor, a little too oily but that's to be expected. Shrimp & Chips had food flavor and breading to them but everything came out cold. My only conclusion for this is that we are in outdoor seating and it's always windy here, so I recommend sitting as close to the Kitchen as you can if you want a hot meal. I'm a little saddened that the experience wasn't great despite only hearing amazing things about this place, but I will return when the permanent location opens up.

She did not let me down as we walked in and noticed how truly authentic it was going to look. Chinese decor on the walls and boxes of restaurant supples in the corners. Just as it should be. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. My wife wanted a shrimp dish so she ordered the honey walnut and it even looked good to me when they brought it. She loves egg rolls, so she got a four piece and said they were pretty good. My biggest wow of the visit was their vegetable fried rice. MY GOD. I dont know what they season or flavor it with, but every fork full of rice that i ate, it was this sense of flavor that reminded me of butter or something else. I really loved the sensation i experienced from this particular dish. I am really curious on what it actually is. I will definitely be ordering out or coming in for Chinese because that reminded of many other places that put out fantastic dishes.

We had plenty to share, which is always a plus. The restaurant has a nice family-style vibe, but it's a lot smaller inside than it looks from the outside. If it's busy, it can feel pretty cramped, and you'll probably have to squeeze between tables and chairs to get around. If it's not crowded though, it's much easier to move around. The service was fast, which I appreciated. The only downside was the food runner who brought out our meals. He wasn't very friendly and kind of just set the plates down wherever there was space, even on top of the plates we were already using. It felt a little careless and took away from an otherwise good experience. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight, but because of that experience with the service, it'll probably be a while before I come back.
