This place is a hidden gem that my family has been going to for decades. It used to be called Mr. Sushi back in the day. Portions are generous, prices are low, and service is friendly. I always order the salmon teriyaki lunch combo (#4 on the lunch menu) that comes with miso soup, steamed rice, salad with creamy dressing, and an eight-piece California roll (I ask them to make it an avocado roll). Their teriyaki sauce is one of the best I've ever tried. We always tip well here, because the waitresses are so incredibly nice and attentive. You never have to wait long for a table, and the restaurant is always clean. The sushi chefs often greet you from behind the sushi bar as you enter. It's a very welcoming environment.

Another great visit with great service, and we even tried a few new things :) so yummy!

My server Kally was so lovely! I've been coming here for years and it had been way too long! They are as fabulous, friendly, flexible and as delicious as ever! 5 stars every time! Great bar for meeting people and bantering with sushi chefs! Loved seeing Sean, Hohei, and the rest of the team again! The sushi lunch special was awesome! Loved working here over lunch!

I haven't been here for at least a couple years. The happy hour menu has changed. It's a lot of choices but my yesteryear favorites are now pricier. The staff is still welcoming and our waitress is attentive. The ambiance is still warm and welcoming.

Great food! Service was fast. Pricing was great especially for a sushi spot. Def recommend for a simple date night :)

Really cute neighborhood spot. Extensive roll selection which can be a bit overwhelming. The sushi pieces were a bit too thick for my liking. However the fish was fresh and very tasty. Appreciated that some of their rolls are unique from the common rolls you see around town. Sashimi portions were large which was appreciated. Would definitely go back!

They are always super packed but they seat you fast. I love the touch of the real flowers on the sushi rolls. The sake is bomb! And drinks are really good and strong! The sushi is so good and fresh.

I have come here for many years and the service is always fantastic! The lunch specials are a great deal and the fish is always fresh and delicious. I have a sesame allergy and they always accommodate!

This place has been a staple for us for sometime. Quality all the way around and top to bottom staff is always great. I think by this point we may have tried just about everything but tonight was my middle daughter's date with date before school and she wanted ramen. I gave her a few options and she chose to come back here again which I love cus I think their sushi is top shelf. Thankful for another great time and look forward to the next

Definitely a vibe for anime lovers! Food-wise, we started with the gyoza and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and even better dipped in the ponzu sauce! We also tried the sushi flight, which was a great way to sample a few different flavors. Overall, I really enjoyed it, although the eel was probably my least favorite of the flight just personal preference. The crispy tuna rice was easily the star of the meal! Crispy, flavorful, and the textures worked so well together. I would 100% order that again. The ramen, however, was just okay for me. It wasn't bad or inedible, but the broth was lacking that rich, deep flavor I look for in a good bowl of ramen. A little more depth and seasoning would really take it to the next level. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our waiter was super friendly, cool, and attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The great service, fun atmosphere, and crispy tuna rice are enough for me to give Full Moon Izakaya another try. Next time, I'll be exploring more of the menu!

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

I opted to forego the "show" ... being seated at a community table for the chef show. But clearly this is the primary focus of this restaurant. But on the flip side, it looked and sounded like the people at the community "show" tables were having a ball. Lots of birthdays and celebrations. Anyway, great menu. Started with a couple inspired cocktails, and moved on to the fish taco's and lamb chop appetizers. Outstanding. Only nit, our server disappeared, and the app plates were left on table when our main courses showed up. We were also never serviced for another round of drinks. For our mains I ordered the Wagyu filet with asparagas and fried rice sides cooked medium. My dining guest ordered the salmon roll and a side of fried rice. My steak came out gray and rare, no sear crust at all. Very disappointing. On the flip side my dining partners portion of fried rice was astoundingly large, and good.
