We found Hooked on Sushi on yelp which is now Jin Sushi and Grill. We had an excellent experience. The service was quick, accurate and very polite. The seaweed salad, calamari, sushi and sashimi exceeded every expectation. A cold Asahi for our beverage A macaroon ice cream sandwich for the finish! Prices were reasonable especially given the quality. A wonderful place to put on your regular list.

Sunset roll- I took it to-go. So good! I had it without masago. The lemon on top a is chefs kiss!

Hole in the wall sushi place. Sushi, ramen and teriyaki are all great. I highly recommend!

Found our new FAVORITE place! The server, she was phenomenal and the atmosphere was so calm and happy. All the food is great. Prices are very decent. The happy hour specials are awesome. We thought we were trying a new place but this is the same place we came to last time we wanted to try a new sushi place. So it's definitely a sign! HIGHLY recommend.

Everything was delicious. We loved the booty booty roll and chasu bun. But everything else we got were all solid! Amazing staff too!

We started with the Ahi Tuna Crispy Rice, which was perfectly crispy with fresh, flavorful tuna on top. We also ordered the Hamachi Sashimi, which melted in your mouth and tasted incredibly fresh. For sushi, we had the Sake Roll and added the seared miso butter, which took the salmon to another level and was one of our favorite bites of the meal. The highlight of the night was when Chef David surprised us with one of his specials: seared yellowtail. It was absolutely incredible--lightly seared, buttery, and packed with flavor. If it's available, don't hesitate to order it! For our signature roll, we tried the Harumi Roll. It was good, but after seeing and tasting more of the menu, we both agreed we would probably order the Yellowtail Trio instead next time. To pair with dinner, we had the Montepulciano, and it was an excellent choice. Smooth, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the sushi. Harumi continues to be one of those places where the quality is consistently outstanding. Between the fresh fish, creative dishes, and attentive chefs, it's hard to make a bad choice here. We'll definitely be back to try even more of the menu!

The restaurant itself is definitely on the smaller side but they also have outdoor dining as an option. This is what one would call a hidden gem because we were definitely not disappointed as we were walking away. Once you sit down you'll realize that this is a restaurant where you're having several random servers taking care of you. So once we finally decided on our choices everything came out fairly quickly even with there being a half full restaurant. We started with some pork gyozas which is one of my husband's favorites & he was happily pleased... they were very fresh. We also had some of the tempura shrimp & onion which were both perfectly cooked without being greasy. As for the sushi we went with the shrimp tempura roll which was some of the best, the rice was cooked perfect plus everything was balanced just right. Then we also had the spider roll which I just loved because I love soft shell crab... OMG with the avocado & cream cheese, there were zero complaints on my end! Overall everything that we chose was so delicious that we've since been back to grab take away from here when we're craving some fresh sushi!

I opted to forego the "show" ... being seated at a community table for the chef show. But clearly this is the primary focus of this restaurant. The 5-10 smaller individual 2 and 4-tops are adjacent to the bar. The place was packed, and so noisy I couldn't even hear the other person at my table. But on the flip side, it looked and sounded like the people at the community "show" tables were having a ball. Lots of birthdays and celebrations. Anyway, great menu. Started with a couple inspired cocktails, and moved on to the fish taco's and lamb chop appetizers. Outstanding. Only nit, our server disappeared, and the app plates were left on table when our main courses showed up. We were also never serviced for another round of drinks. For our mains I ordered the Wagyu filet with asparagas and fried rice sides cooked medium. My dining guest ordered the salmon roll and a side of fried rice. My steak came out gray and rare, no sear crust at all. Very disappointing. On the flip side my dining partners portion of fried rice was astoundingly large, and good. Never did see our server again until the check was brought over. We were not even offered the dessert menu other than the small pineapple sherbet that came with my meal. Parking is brutal here. Very crowded area on weekend. Had a long walk to restaurant entrance. Don't think this will be on my repeat list.

The first thing that stood out was the beautiful interior design. The space feels modern, stylish, and inviting, making it perfect for a date night or even a solo dining experience. The aesthetic bar area creates a great atmosphere, and while we chose to sit inside, they also have a lovely covered patio for those who prefer outdoor seating. The food and customer service were both excellent. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and every dish we ordered was enjoyable. We started with the Heart Attack, garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura appetizers. The garlic edamame was especially memorable--I loved the addition of sesame oil, which added so much flavor and made it stand out from the typical version. To drink, we ordered green tea and a Sapporo on draft. The Sapporo was light, crisp, and airy--definitely something I would order again. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Sensei Roll, the Screaming "O" Roll, and a nigiri plate from the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious, but the Screaming "O" Roll was the clear highlight of the meal and a must-order in my opinion. Between the beautiful ambiance, attentive service, generous portions, and flavorful food, Haru Sushi delivered a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Some of their specialty rolls are $50/roll!!! I repeat- FiIFTY American dollars per roll. I don't know that I've seen prices that high even in Scottsdale or Las Vegas. There's no reason that this casual sushi spot should be charging like they're off the coast of Japan in an elite cliffside restaurant. The food is very good, but it's not "I need to finance this meal", $50/roll good. Also.. I asked for the WiFi password (literally titled "Haru Sushi Guest") so I could work on my laptop if needed, just to be told they were not allowed to give out their WiFi password out to anyone (even the staff aren't allowed to use it). Kind of silly to be gatekeeping something as simple as WiFi in the year 2026. I would have loved to make this my new working lunch spot, but between the egregiously high prices and the WiFi witness protection program, I'll be skipping it next time.

A small downside was that the bar tables are pretty tiny, and the chairs don't have hooks to hang a purse, which made things feel a little cramped. I ordered the Spicy Creamy Ramen, and it was delicious! I'm not someone who enjoys extremely spicy food, but the spice level was just right enough heat without overpowering the flavors. The ramen noodles are thick and have a great chewy texture. My partner ordered the Chicken Chashu, which he also enjoyed, but his favorite part was the Old Fashioned. He's already talking about coming back just for another one! The only thing I'd recommend improving is how the ramen bowls are served. Because they're so hot, our server had to place his thumb inside the rim of the bowl to carry it, and I noticed his thumb accidentally touched the hard-boiled egg in my partner's ramen. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but it wasn't very sanitary. Finding a different way to handle the bowls would make the dining experience even better.
