Wow! Such a speedy response to my request for a service visit for my dishwasher which is not filling with water. The repairman came the next day, exactly at the time he said he would. He was fast, very good at explaining what the problem was with the machine, and provided me a reasonable quote for the repair-- the motor is kaput! I have to make a decision about fixing the motor or simply buying a new one, but either way, I will ask them to come back to fix or install. I feel confident these folks will do a good job. I had a broken dishwasher, and I was pretty sure I knew what was wrong with it. Filmed it inside with an old cell phone while running, did some research. Asked a bunch of repair companies how much it would cost to replace the recirculation motor. Akra was the only one who actually answered that question with an estimate instead of a generic "$85 to take a look at it" response. I called on Thursday morning regarding our dryer, which was not drying well. Got an appointment for the same day and a very thorough cleaning of the dryer took place during the appointment. The technician provided a very honest and realistic assessment of the dryer, which is about 17 years old. Dinislam repaired my dishwasher door. All the other appliance repair shop said fully fixing it would cost as much as a new dishwasher would. Dinislam stopped by & looked at the broken base tub. He suggested that we could fix it by nailing/gluing the broken base tub piece & replacing remaining broken parts. It only cost me a fraction of a new dishwasher.
