We had two issues in our need for a service call. We had done a complete gut remodel on our condo unit in Madison last year. We split our time between Sedona, AZ and Madison, WI. The remodel was finished after we returned to Sedona, so we did not see the finished unit until we returned this summer. We had two issues, our Wolf oven did not work and our Sub Zero was not making ice. I called and was quickly given an appointment convent for my schedule. Joe arrived on time and quickly realized that the reason the oven did not work was the two knobs were reversed (left and right). He switched them and POOF it worked. Second was the ice maker. He looked the unit over and quickly realized "user error", we did not have the ice function turned on. Although this would have given most service/repair folks plenty to joke about, Joe instead used his time to better educate us on our appliances. How to change water and air filters in Sub Zero unit. How to use the several convection features that come with a Wolf stove. In the end we were much better educated on the units and luckily it was covered under our warranty. This is the second time we have used Akrit in a couple years and both times we have been very pleased with their professionalism and level of service provided. I called AKRIT right after discovering that my refrigerator wasn't working at all. At that time, they were tremendously busy and were not able to give me a next day appointment which was fine with me as I have a second smaller refrigerator. However, next day I got a call from them stating that given the situation they were going to schedule a technician to come to my home on Saturday despite the fact they don't normally work on Saturdays. The technician came early Saturday and in just a few minutes he found and fixed the problem. He explained everything in detail and gave me options for a quick or longer repair. Even though a second visit was scheduled in case the quick repair didn't work, it was not necessary, so I called them, cancelled the second visit and immediately I was refunded for the part of the initial estimated that was not necessary to perform. These technicians are very professional, before coming they asked for enough information to try to complete the job in one visit, came on time and quickly executed the job on a very polite, professional, clean and friendly manner. First of all I really love my Wolf gas range. I did have a few cosmetic issues that I needed addressed. The technician Kyler came to my home and we discussed the issues I was having. He took the time to evaluate and then started working on the issues. We spoke with sub zero and there was agreement on some of the parts being covered which was generous. A couple weeks later when all the parts were received by akrit Kyler came back and removed the used and replaced them. Kyler took the time to ask if I had any usage issues or questions regarding maintenance... He is a wonderful asset to Akrit. It was great that the same technician diagnosed the issues,ordered the parts and then came back to do the installation. Very professional! I was initially skeptical about a service provider based at least 50 miles away, but they are the only authorized Wolf service techs in this area (or Green Bay, which is equally distant). Communication regarding the appointment was excellent: the scheduling process, and also day of ... Pat called when he was on his way, giving us a 40 minute lead time. Unlike a previous reviewer, no replacement parts were along, however, I was assured of no additional service charge within 90 days AND it seems as if the thorough cleaning of the burner MAY have solved the problem!! Pat is bright and engaging; very knowledgeable about product lines he services. He wore a mask the entire visit, which we appreciated (we did as well). Something fell on the glass top of our induction range and cracked it. It needed to be replaced to avoid someone getting cut by a sharp edge. Akrit did the job expeditiously once they were able to obtain a new top. But, later, some of the controls didn't work. Of course, since all that changed was the glass top, it was considered the culprit and another was ordered and installed. This did not solve the problem. Something else had gone wrong. The diagnosis took a lot of persistence, patience, time and work on the part of the Akrit service technician. There was never any thought of not getting it fixed or charging for additional parts and time. The tech did a wonderful job and all is now good. If I ever need another appliance repair, I'm going with Akrit again. read more

Akrit is the only company we will call when an appliance needs repair. The technicians arrive promptly, and we always know that an appliance repaired by Akrit will stay fixed. Most recently, technician Greg did a warrantee repair on our new Wolf oven. He not only diagnosed and rectified our problem; he also pointed out installation issues that could have led to future problems. Then he willingly talked our installers through the necessary corrections. This is company staffed by professionals who truly know the products they repair and care about their customers. Akrit provides excellent customer service. The customer service is great, from the initial phone call to the numerous calls from the refrigeration tech keeping us posted! Initially, Akrit said it would be four or five days before they could get out to us. A day later, they called and said they were in the area and could do the work the following day, and they did. The cost was fair and reasonable, I used a different company the last time for the same service, and they charged us 50% more than what Akrit charged. I am just thrilled with Akrit! Our oven did not work after a self-clean cycle. Do not like being without a working oven. From the time I called Akrit, it was a matter of about 2.5 hours until a most knowledgeable service repair gentleman was at our door. How fantastic is that!! I have called Akrit many times over the years for appliance repairs. Recently, Joe from Akrit was at my house to repair my refrigerator. Even though my refrigerator was out of warranty, he suggested that I call the company and see if they would help with the parts needed for repair. I did and they not only paid for the part, but they paid for half of the labor charges as well! Joe also noticed that my dishwasher door needed adjustment and he took care of that, free of charge, while he was here. Great service!!! read more

This was the second time we used Akrit to repair our Asko dishwasher. Each time Tim called to let us know when he would be arriving and he was right on time. I highly recommend Akrit for servicing the Subzero refrigerators. The technicians are experts in resolving problems and they are very professional. Unfortunately, we've been having the same issues, leaking water, for different reasons with our Subzero refrigerator for two years in a row. The service guy who came out, Joe, showed up promptly, was extremely professional and friendly and provided a lot of information about my freezer and was able to educate me on other appliances I have.
