I've been going to Aurora for a few years now, primarily for their Happy Hour. It's one of the few…read moredecent happy hours in all of Oviedo, as crazy as that is. They have a few nice craft beers on tap and the most amazing hummus platter ever. So many places give you a tiny dollop of hummus, a few crackers and if you're lucky a few cut up carrots. Not here, you get a giant amount of hummus - you get house made lavash - and you get beautiful baby medium sized carrots and all of that is only $8 on happy hour. The hummus is very flavorful with a tiny kick and the lavash is super crunchy with an amazing seasoning on it that reminds me of "everything bagel seasoning". You'll see two different pictures - these were taken a year or more apart but you can see things have barely changed. You always get the amazing crackers and carrots and a huge amount of hummus. They also have a few great wines by the glass on happy hour, some yummy sliders, and now a pepperoni pizza that looks awesome but I haven't tried yet.

Other than that, the food was great. I sampled a few items of the apps that people ordered. From what I can remember, the truffle fries really stood out. For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. Would come back again and try something else or even order that again.

Walking in, it looked very cozy- tiny but cutely decorated and on theme with the wine and oysters. I ordered a boil whereas my friend ordered the oysters. I also had an espresso martini. Both were very good! The boil had an amazing amount of garlic which was just so good. Can never have enough garlic! Our server seemed to be the only one in the restaurant besides the chefs back of the house. She was very friendly and answered questions that we had about the menu. Overall, a great random Thursday night turned into a lovely one having good food and drinks!

I'll be honest, the name Wine (good) Oysters (great) got me lookin'. Add in the myriad Yelp reviews…read moreand I was mapping directions. What a find! They have a plethora of cooked oyster variations (not necessarily my jam) and raw. My favorite part of oysters on the half shell is mignonette; I loathe places that only provide cocktail sauce. Yet another reason why I'd come back? W4O provides two mignonette options; wait...is this heaven? After some vino and oysters, my colleague and I weren't crazy hungry. I chose the charcuterie board and she the salmon tostini. Not the most diverse charcuterie board I've ever seen, but it worked. Salmon tostini was on point and we were upset we didn't prioritize this dish above all others. NOTE: If you're on the fence, I completely agree with Yelper Hanh, Happy Hour is a great time to give Wine 4 Oysters a try! Small, strip mall venues are often hit or miss, but Wine 4 Oysters is a home run! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Between them and a few customers, my husband was helped up and was okay. The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. It is one of our favorite places even though it's a bit of a drive. I ordered the house wine for happy hour (3 buck chuck), and lobster roll and crab cake platter, with broccoli as the side (about 21.5). I paid directly on the counter using Google Pay, and took my drink to my table. I tried the Moscato wine, which tasted cheap, but no complaints at all for 3 dollars. It was still sweet and buzzed me lightly. The food was delivered to our table shortly after. The lobster roll was filling, but mostly a mix of both real and surami lobster. It was still enjoyable and had the nice fish flavor I enjoy from surami. The crab cake had real blue crab claw meat and was flavorful. The broccoli looked to be grilled or steamed and had the right amount of seasoning. It was really enjoyable. My only minor gripe was the hot sauce I took that said XXX, but after adding to the food, there was no fire to the taste buds engine. While it added some flavor, it didn't bring any fuel to the spices. The service was wonderful. The attendant was very friendly and helpful, and even took care of the plates after we were done. I believe his name was Christopher. The atmosphere is very casual, no frills setting. The dining area is a bit small, but outdoor seating was available too. It looked nautical themed, as well as gator stuff. Parking was free and easy in the strip mall. Best of all, when you are done eating, for can walk to the park nearby. TJs serves great seafood at very reasonable prices. While it is no frills atmosphere, the good quality food makes the price worth it. The service is very friendly and helpful. This is such a great restaurant in Oviedo on the park. Overall: A-

The food is amazing and their portions are always generous and worth the money. Our go-tos are the friend haddock and the fried chicken strips. And to top it off snatched the menu out of my hands. Let's start with how they run the restaurant It's almost like s fast food They take your order first and pay, then they sit you. They even ask for tip. Once seated they bring the food out. Decor was okay but the furniture was in terrible conditions. Restroom looks like a 7/11 bathroom. Now the food which was pricey. No flavor at all. Let me start with the coconut shrimp, no flavor just drop fried. French fries were good but no seasoning. The lobster bisk was horrible. Again no flavor and very giddy with tiny sherds of lobster. Mac and cheese tasted like microwave food. My husband had fried scallops and although it didn't have much flavor they were pretty good. All in all great for all the seniors that were there but not for younger folks or anyone who likes to taste their food. Sadly to say won't be returning.

That is not a problem and to be expected. Luckily we had cash. What's disturbing is how I witnessed them treat customers who were already seated and were not properly notified that the POS system went down. They notified the customers AFTER they were served and were ready for the check. These customers had every intention to pay (via cashless transaction) and were blindsided by the fact that only cash was accepted. Instead of working with the patrons and finding a solution, they called the police. These patrons never raised their voice, never said they weren't going to pay, and to my knowledge remained reasonable until a solution could be identified. Imagine my surprise to see these patrons being met with POLICE escorting them out as if they committed a crime. This business showed lack of patience, concern, and EMPATHY. Our society is quickly becoming cashless, so it's not uncommon for people to carry little/no cash. The fact that this business saw it acceptable to call the police for something so minuscule is unfortunate. I will not return.
