Great experience for a Sunday morning breakfast here today. First of all, we had a very warm and genuine greeting, and the host who turned out was also our waiter, allowed us to choose any place we'd like to sit. They have a few booths and mostly tables with chair chairs. This place is incredibly clean. Not a spot on anything so I felt very comfortable. My dining companion, and I chose to share one dish and we went with the Spanish omelette that came with hashbrowns and pancakes. There is a choice given of home fries or you can choose toast or biscuit I think it is for the bread. Everything was amazing, delicious, and enjoyed very much. They very kindly split the dish in the kitchen. Everything tasted great and I would definitely come back here again. May give them a try for lunch. I was craving breakfast food during our anniversary trip. It's a fun thing to note that I only crave breakfast on vacation. I generally never eat breakfast like this, or ever, haha. We were on our way to visit Mt. Hood that day and I saw that Nayhely's Place wasn't too far from where we were staying. The reviews were solid, and the food looked delish. I didn't want anything too heavy or massive and I could tell that the food there had a homemade touch. The prices were reasonable too. Upon arrival, we easily found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant itself was pretty bare bones, but clean, and there were several groups of older folk dining in. It was around 10 am, but it was quiet and peaceful. I love that this restaurant is family-run, and one of the daughters quickly seated us at a comfy booth. It didn't take too long for us to decide on our meals. I went with the corned beef hash breakfast while my husband went with the bacon breakfast. Both of us chose scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sourdough toast. Our food arrived pretty quickly, and I was so excited to dig in. The corned beef hash was perfectly seasoned, with plenty of onions and bell peppers. I've never had good corned beef hash (besides the ones from a can) and this was excellent. The meat was tender as well. The hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside while soft on the inside, and the eggs were fluffy. The toast came buttered but we asked for jam as well. I had a bite of my husband's bacon and it had the most satisfying crunch. We added Tapatio to our eggs and I also added ketchup to my hash browns. Both sauces definitely elevated my breakfast. Overall, I was very pleased that the meal was balanced in terms of portion size and flavor and not very oily. I left feeling full, but not stuffed, which is always key for me when dining at a breakfast spot. My digestive system also doesn't always enjoy breakfast food after, but I had zero problems with the food here. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Nayhely's Place while searching for a yummy breakfast spot in Vancouver, and would love to support this family-run business again the next time we visit the PNW! read more

I miss my hotels, complementary breakfast and wanted something to eat. I didn't want to travel too far and it was also around 11 so I wasn't sure who was still selling breakfast. Just mapped breakfast spots near me pulled up a menu and ordered something fresh to go. I got the vegetable omelette with hashbrowns and you get the choice of toast or pancakes which of course I have to get pancakes. It was ready about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and I can tell they work well together. Definitely worth the price as it was very filling and tasty! Love the crispy hash browns !! 10/10 read more

And when we got ours my whole meal was cold, chicken fried steak, gravy, hash browns, all it. Then they took another 5 min to bring out my husbands, which half it was cold. Is this place one of the best kept secrets in Vancouver regarding a healthy breakfast?! Nayhely's Place is an unpretentious, casual diner, that at first glance, you would think is just another dive with cheap sloppy food ... but it was not the case. My parent's Recommended this place after they had visited it 4 times in one week(they are retired and like to try new places). It's tucked into an older strip mall on the west side of Hwy 99 in Hazel Dell. The minute you walk in the front door you're greeted and made to feel like family. The menu is varied with photos to help you decide. Today was my second visit in less than a week. On my first visit I had one of the best French Dips I ever eaten. It included many choices of sides. I had a small but very fresh salad. Today I had a Texas Burger. It was also amazing and very large, to say the least. I plan on trying more of the menu items in the future with great anticipation. Very casual, cafeteria-ish diner serving American basics for breakfast and lunch. Don't go here looking for ambiance. One wall had a poster of wood slats on it which was weird. It's in the row of businesses between the one where the Carl's Jr is and another strip mall much wider than the one Nayhely's is in so it's easy to miss as you cruise down 99. Those lots don't intersect so if you miss it you have to U-turn. On a Saturday at noon there were lots of parking spots. This place is in no way obvious from the main road so i expect this is probably a locals only spot. There was a slight wait for customers paying to leave before they grabbed us menus and led us to a booth. A young woman took our drink orders and another came to verify them. When the drinks came, we ordered a hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, pancakes and country potatoes and I ordered my two egg breakfast over medium with hash browns and wheat toast. They brought a hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast and a two egg breakfast over medium with fruit and wheat toast. Since this wasn't really what we ordered, I had to send the my eggs back along with my BF's toast. My BF just accepted what he got and was told it was bacon OR sausage OR ham and just went with the potatoes he got and no bread. They must have felt really bad about the mistake because at that point they started bringing lots of food out! They ended up giving us my plate with eggs and hash browns and my BF got eggs, pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage, and both types of potatoes at no charge! The food itself was just ok. Nothing spell binding. But as described, the service was well beyond the call of duty for $35. A large family came in and one of the staff came out to greet them personally so this definitely must be a local hangout. We might be back but there are so many breakfast options in the area and this is the easiest meal of the day to make myself so we'll see. read more

This is a gem, for me, it is in the breakfast category alongside Carols Corner and The Plainsman. I got there close to closing time and yet, they seated me. Served me some pretty delish corn beef hash. I also ordered the "Irish nachos" which were fries with cheesy yumminess (highly recommend ordering these with southwestern flavored ranch). Service was welcoming, attentive and almost gave off a feeling like you were a regular when you're not, not yet. The corn beef was chunky, clearly not from the can. This was the good stuff. I was disappointed in the the home fries, I do prefer skillet home style fried potatoes (I think that's the usual description). I can see this is a family restaurant and I want to support the local businesses in difficult times. But I have to be frank. I left feeling annoyed after having to wait and kept going back to my car multiple times because food wasn't ready. I sit in my kitchen eating my food feeling half satisfied my girl got a French dip but no cheese since when does French dip not have cheese on it lol the meat was dry the bread was not fresh she was not satisfied with the quality of the food. My order was all cold upon coming home which is only right up the road no stops just ordered food then right home I got the bacon cheese fries which were unsalted and dry and was very lifeless. I also ordered the breakfast plate eggs hash browns sausage and ham the works and an order of mozzarella cheese sticks got home all of it was cold the only thing that was warm at all was the pancakes. The food quality is absolutely dry unflavored and lacks the simple quality I would expect from a simple American Breakfast. I've never seen anyone mess up something as simple as American breakfast but that's a 1st for me. One thing stood out more to me that I keep remembering and it's worth noting the young girl at the register who I can see has such a warm caring spirit and I imagined was his daughter saying "have a great day thank you for coming" one word came to mind and that was genuine and kind something that goes so far in today's world that shows so little of it. I will say your daughter kind spirit will earn you a 2nd chance to change my review but until then the food quality is a 1star the kindness and genuineness of your daughter earned you my giving a 2 star and a 2nd chance to try again. read more

What a terrific find for breakfast. My wife and I were looking for a good local place for breakfast and we found it with this terrific little restaurant. The service was excellent with all the wait staff and what I assume was the owner checking in multiple times. Our food was terrific and plentiful and brought quickly. We were given our own coffee pot and hot water pot so we never had to ask for refills. It was quaint, clean and charming. I totally recommend this cafe for breakfast. read more

By far the lamest most stingy sandwich I have ever been served in any restaurant. There was so little corned beef on my Reuben that I am shocked that they actually charged me for this shitty sandwich. If the owner had a shred of decency or a conscience, he would refund my money for what I was served. First time visiting. Feeling mixed emotions because our breakfast was so good. however service could have been better. We got our appetizer after our meal. We ordered the nachos fries with the ranch in the side. They never brought it to us or came by the table again. No refill of water. We waited for a to go box and no one ever showed up at our table. We had to yell across the restaurant to get the server attention. When it came time to check out it wasn't an easy process for a first timer they didn't bring our check just say go to the front.
