My husband, toddler and I stopped in at 5pm over the weekend to see if we could get a table. I walked in to a more than half empty restaurant and asked for a table. The hostess told me that she had a table but no high chair. When I told her that was no problem, my son would rather sit on my lap she then told me she could not store the stroller (I went in alone without a stroller). I felt like as a mom we were not welcome. She made no effort then to seat us inside or outside and walked away. Families beware! read more

Welcome to the neighborhood! Very friendly service. Huge portions (each "small" entre is for 2 hungry people). Their mujaddrah (sweet red pepper dip) is hands down the best I've ever had. Love everything here!! The outside of the restaurant is gorgeous and the inside as well. Nice and spacious with a huge burner oven in the front. The food is family style and you will have leftovers (who doesn't love leftovers??). Had the lamb shank, utterly delicious. So nice and moist, lamb does not taste gamey at all. Also had the mixed hummus platter, also so delicious and glad we're able to try a variety. Also the wait staff were all so friendly! Most notable was the muhamarrah - great bite of peppers and nuts with hints of sweetness from the pomegranate. Shared the malfouf- delicious stuffed cabbage with rice and meat resembling a mini eggroll and multiple flatbreads - pistachio (light and savory), ground beef and cheese + shawarma (VERY hearty and filling). Delicious Palestinian food that you musttt try if you're in the area. You really won't miss this place because of their eye-catching floral decor on the outside . The inside is just as beautiful but even cozier because of the smell of fresh baked bread and live music at night. We came here without reservations and was able to be seated outdoors (indoor seating was fully booked!). The 3 of us ordered the Chicken & Zaatar Flatbread -- it was a little on the plain side but still enjoyable. I would order the Pistachio Flatbread next time because I saw a lot of people around us getting it. We shared the Mixed Grill entree with lamb, chicken, and beef with sides of rice, hummus, and babaghanoush. This dish was DELICIOUS! And the perfect portion to share with one or two more people. We didn't indulge on this particular visit, but they had authentic vertical spits of chicken and beef Shawarma; a very good sign. Service was friendly and capable. Some of the best middle eastern food I've had in Brooklyn. We got the mezze filistini (mixed mezze platter) to start and then the chicken kebab platter. The portions are enormous! The two of us made our way through maybe half of the mezze and 3/4 of the chicken. Everything was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. We'll definitely be back but probably with a couple of other friends so we can order more dishes! read more

We ordered online and had a lot of issues getting the food in a timely manner. There were multiple calls back and forth with the driver and Grub hub. When if finally arrived, the falafel was cold. I didn't love it in any event and the hummus was not great either. I had a fattoush salad which was dry and not too flavorful. My son liked his flatbread and mixed shwarma. We are big time users of Middle Eastern food from the neighborhood and have tried every place. I think this is likely the best of them all.
