Went there expecting good birria tacos and it was honestly really disappointing. The birria barely had any meat in it and tasted terrible. Get the fish tacos. You won't regret it. These tacos carried the meal for us. We ordered asada and fish and fish was 10/10. Fried (which we normally don't get) and covered with freaking amazing onions and cabbage mixture. Just phenomenal. We spent $50 on the most mediocre food I have ever tasted. The "guac" was just avocado paste. The "salsa" is literally the description - sauce. It's just tomato sauce. Both are beyond bland. Has this place ever heard of seasoning? The chips are those cheap nacho chips you get at the movies with the nacho cheese. They include gratuity in the check, but it's the type of quick service restaurant where you order at the counter. There are no servers. We heard one lady get up to complain that half of their food was still missing. The table next to us was trying to dispute the confusion on the menu. Not a good look when everyone is having issues. The girl running the register had the nerve to try and scam us. We paid for the pork belly and afterwards she tells us they're all out and asks if we want chips with guac OR salsa. We said yes and she goes "okay which one?" Look at the menu prices. The pork belly was several dollars more. We should've asked for a refund. This food made me physically sick to my stomach. Knowing we paid for such a garbage meal makes me mentally sick. I don't know who these people are bribing to write good reviews, but please take this seriously. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. This place is a hole in a wall, located right next to the train tracks. Parking is a bit cramped and struggle but the customer service and food quality make up for it!! The establishment itself is tiny with only a few tables inside, and majority outside. They have a good amount of options for food. We came to Al Chile Taco Bar on a Monday night for dinner around 8 pm or so and the restaurant was pretty quiet. It's located in a strip mall on West Dixie Highway with parking right in front of the restaurant. We entered the restaurant and received a really warm greeting from one of the restaurant staff members and offered to answer any questions we had. My husband and I ordered 3 tacos each ($13.95 each) and tacos and guacamole to share for $7. They have limited seating inside with most seating outside and the employee brought out the homemade sauces and explained each while our food as being prepared, The tacos came out very fresh and in corn tortillas and they were all outstanding. I have been coming to this place since it was a food truck right in the same area, but a few blocks away. I love their birria and it is in an even bigger and nicer place now with seating indoors and outdoors. They're open pretty late which was great. We were able to get a late night bite and the food was fresh and yummy just as I remember. Although the quesadillas I had this evening weren't as good as the tacos I had here in the past, I absolutely love this place. the ingredients are fresh And the service is really great. I don't remember how much the bottle of beer was, but an eight dollar tip was also included. The "staff" that one fake review referred to consisted of one guy at the cash register. He kept forgetting things like forks, napkins, cups. Yelp is pretty much useless in terms of reviews. Most of them look fake. The first one listed here was obviously paid for. The other cute thing is that when you initially look up the restaurant, it only shows three great reviews. Not the most recent ones, not the negative ones.
