Beria taco which was unhappy hour. So delicious.
    Sadie K.

Tried this place after a recommendation from my friend. She had only ever had it on DoorDash, but we decided to go to the actual location. I'm so glad we went because this food was amazing! Seriously, probably the best burrito I've ever had. I got the chicken burrito and it's made with shredded chicken, which I love. You don't get any gross chunks or fatty pieces. Good for someone like me who is particular with meat. Seriously, it was spectacular. I did also get a single birria Taco that was on the happy hour menu because I love birria and this was also amazing. So flavorful. And it was actually a fairly large taco as well. I definitely recommend this place, next time I am in Miami. I will definitely be back. Service was really quick, But as we are leaving, the restaurant was filling up. I can tell it gets busy in the evenings. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

This is always my go to spot in Miami. The best burrito I've ever had especially with the red salsa. Could not recommend the spot more. Went to their Brick + Mortar instead of ordering online for the first time the other day, and the staff was so nice and the place was so clean. I honestly, with as good as the food was, expected this to be more of a hole in the wall situation. But the restaurant was so nice, had two outdoor seating areas, and was so open and bright inside the restaurant. I got the Elote as well this time and it was delicious. Also such good Horchata!

This was a nice place and they have great happy hour until 7pm. The bartender was nice I just had their beer special which was really good for $3. I also had the raw oysters which were great too. I would definitely recommend this place. I had the nachos in Miami need to try them here next time I go since they were great. They had a dj that was setting up. It was a great place to watch the World Cup.

    Beer and a margarita

Walking in, the place has a very cool ambiance: dim lighting, large screen tvs/projectors, a big bar, and loud music. We were greeted and seated immediately. Unfortunately that's where the good service ended. The server brought us water and menus without saying a word. When he finally took our orders, it was very hard to hear him. We ordered a beer and a margarita to start. The margarita was delicious and strong. For food, we ordered the elote, 2 tacos (carnitas and chicken), and a steak burrito. We assumed that even though we'd ordered everything at the same time, we would receive the appetizer (elote) first but that was not the case. We received the tacos first, then the elote shortly after. It was about 10 more minutes before the burrito showed up, forcing my partner and I to eat separately or let the tacos get cold. Taste-wise, the elote was on a sliver of cob (not the whole cob and not corn kernels) - too difficult to eat. The carnitas taco was way too spicy for me. The chicken taco was ok. The burrito was seemingly pan-seared in a layer of cheese on the outside of the tortilla, making it hot and greasy to grab and eat. Overall, cool ambiance and good drinks but not-so-great service or food.

Uptown has pretty good happy hour specials! The food is tasty and the barilla tacos are so juicy you don't even need the sauce. Drinks were pretty good as well. It's pretty chill, music playing and sports on the screen. Now, service wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I'll go back for the food though.

We went there for a quick stop before having dinner somewhere else. We had a drink and a bite from the HH. I ordered a spicy margarita; all margaritas are made with Jose Cuervo which is not my favorite but i barely noticed, which was good. We also had the birria taco; it was good and had lots of meat. The place is nice, lots of lighting and the service was good; attentive and fast. I will go back.

We stopped by Uptown 66 on our way home from the mall and shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was delicious. We started with the chips and salsa and the elote, the salsa had so much flavor and the tortilla chips were fresh and warm. The elote was really good too and wasn't overly covered in the chipotle mayo sauce, which I appreciated. For our main dishes, we shared the birria tacos (so flavorful and filling) and a chicken burrito, subbing the potatoes for rice. Definitely enough food to share, and the prices were really reasonable for the amount of food you get. Everyone working there was super friendly as well. Overall, a great stop we'll definitely be back!

Second time coming to this place! Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. It was such a nice day when I went. I opted to sit outside. It was a little breezy, but the real MVP was a steak burrito. It was so hardy, steak was cooked perfectly! There was even potatoes inside which was so unexpected. Now the real disappointment was the Birria tacos. This has been the next cultural phenomenon. I was so disappointed in the consume tasting like nothing. The shredded steak tasted like nothing and it was like more of a quesadilla. I was not impressed. The churros were amazing. I didn't even get to take a picture of it. Service was great. I went during the afternoon so it was not very busy but definitely a great place to go and check out. I'll give them another try. #ThankMeLater.

Hot sauce and lemonade to fix the drinks.

Food is decent, drinks hit or miss, guacamole is fresh but no taste, nothing like the real Mexican one, no salsa asked for one and gave me a Tabasco bottle, I asked for a a lemonade ordered overly sweet to fix the drink I ordered. Margarita tamarindo was good. Birria tacos were delicious but lack of hot Mexican style salsa. Ambiance was great and inviting service is great.

Our new spot for fresh oysters, amazing nachos, spot on tacos! Excellent service bartender Manny is the best he's attentive and makes the best drinks! Music not overly loud just a great ambiance and enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely returning and recommend this establishment to all who enjoy delicious food.

First time at their Hallandale location. It was fantastic! Indoor and outdoor seating and a well placed bar. It was overall casual and spacious. Service was laid back as in the Miami location. I think they had some technical issues today with the PoS that had them a little distracted. The flavors here are amazing. I enjoyed the latter sauces, and flavorful oysters albeit small. The pork Al pastor and mushroom/pear hongos tacos were exceptional. Definitely would come back and recommend.

The Oxacan Short rib was fantastic! Grilled red onions on top with a touch of Asian 5spice seasoning. OMG is was to die for. Their Horchata was the perfect balance of light and sweet but not overly sweet. I loved it! Ambiance had a nice vibe and the wait staff was friendly. They accidently messed up my order. I didn't make a big deal though. It happens sometimes. They made up for it by with complimentary churros for dessert. This place was legit! Thank you too all the Uptown 66 staff

Absolutely positively outstanding! I had the Birria tacos, elote, a dozen oysters for $1 each and two spicy passion fruit margaritas. They have happy hour from 4-7 PM seven days a week. Birria tacos $4, elote $5, half price margaritas $7. I couldn't be any happier. Chareenah was my server. She greeted me with a smile and welcomed me like family. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back.

My experience there was exactly what I expected and hoped for while staying at a nearby Airbnb: an authentic, humble Mexican taqueria. I visited on a Tuesday evening and was warmly greeted by a pleasant young Mexican girl working behind the counter whose primarily spoke Spanish. I ordered one shimp taco, one tongue taco, and some rice and beans. The decor is Mexiclutter, reminiscent of the small eating establishments I saw while visiting Tijuana. The small dining area includes 2 counters on opposite walls each accommodating 2 or 3 patrons and a small table surrounded by 3 chairs. After ordering, I sat at the table and watched a soccer match broadcast in Spanish on a small television while enjoying scrumptious, not greasy, tortillas served with tangy salsa verde. After a short wait, the woman behind the counter served me my tacos. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I expected her to return with my rice and beans, but that didn't happen which was fine because I was no longer hungry after eating an entire basket of tortillas and both tacos. The tacos and a soda cost me around $13.
