I had a condo unit that was in need of deep cleaning before it went on the market. Abie and his team came and made the place look as good as new. We had two bath tubs, oven, a stove and hood, and kitchen covered with grease built up over the years and when they were done, it looked brand new. New to the area and needed a 'move in' deep clean for my new home. Found AL on yelp with some good reviews, but what really jumped out was their carpet cleaning. Other cleaners may have carpet cleaning but it's not obvious from their pages or website. I might try out others in the future for general house cleaning but I went with AL for my carpets and also wanted my wood floors cleaned so I could walk around the house without shoes on. AL did a great job with the carpet and floors, they also did a great job with the bathrooms, blinds, and cleaning the oven and hood range. The apartment was needed more work then they anticipated, but they worked very thoroughly without rushing despite the longer work hours, they did not charge me more than what was originally quoted for either. Once again, searching around for a honest carpet cleaner who will actually take their time to make sure the stains comes off your carpet is a hard task. It looks like I have found my new carpet cleaner. In the past I would use one of the bigger carpet cleaning companies, however their prices have jump significantly. This time I got a recommendation from my uncle who has use AL Carpet Cleaning in the past and swears that he's very good at what he does. Abie knows his stuff. He walked my house and gave me a fair quote. Before he started cleaning the carpet, he started by vacuuming, then he went around spraying the stains so they would be easier to come out during the cleaning process. Now he's ready to clean, the whole process took a couple hours and he had a blower going while he was cleaning which helped sped up the drying time. I decided to clean the entire house and he had time the following week. He and his crew came by and did a FANTASTIC job cleaning every reachable square inch of the house. Cannot recommend this company enough! We had seriously neglected the windows in our house for YEARS. Abie quoted me a price per window that I thought was very low, especially given the amount of cleaning that everything -windows, screens and ledges - needed. But even after he and his son spent about 3 hours cleaning inside and out at our small Mira Mesa house - and I'm sure finding out that this was a much bigger job than he expected - he still insisted on keeping with his original estimate. I couldn't believe it (I paid him more anyway, just because I felt so bad!). And they did a fabulous job. I would highly recommend this company. I was exhausted. Another day of trying to clean out my mother's home to prepare for renting. She now lives with me (and has Alzheimers) after my father passed and my childhood home has sat vacant for a year, time to make some $$ for my mom. I saw the van in my neighborhood while driving home and memorized the #, I thought it was a sign from the universe that I could have everything done by one company, carpets, furniture and house cleaning. I called the #, spoke with Al (I see reviews referring to him as Abbie?). I called and he wanted to make appnt for that night, we made it for next morning. I rushed over to my mom's house and waited. He was late, even though I texted him the address, he was in the wrong part of town. I waited 40 minutes and he arrived. He looked all around (1000 sq ft house) and said he would get me an estimate. Never heard back. I called again a few days later and he said he would get it to me later, never heard back. I called again and left a message. I got a text back saying I would get a phone call, never did. I called again after reading great reviews, nothing. I texted that I was still waiting patiently, no response. Normally I do not stalk a business if they don't respond to me. I rarely even call back if I don't hear from them, but because of the good reviews and the fact that I was desperate, I decided to pursue their business. It is the epitome of unprofessionalism to not respond. If you don't want the job, please just tell me you don't, or you don't have time, etc. etc. Maybe they have become so successful that they feel they can afford to lose a few jobs. I don't know, but it's rude, unprofessional and wrong for a business to conduct itself this way. Happy that others have had good results. I thought seeing the van that day was going to lighten my load, instead it just was a big disappointment and waste of my time. Don't worry AL, I won't call again or recommend you. Abie finally got back to me right after I posted the negative rating with apologies saying he had family in town and that's why he hadn't gotten back. We scheduled a date for him to come out, we had to change it once, which wasn't a big deal. He and his crew came out yesterday and cleaned the house, carpets, furniture and windows.
