Was originally quoted $525-$675 for our move out cleaning. When they arrived they showed up with an…read moreadditional cleaner and said it would cost more, but it'll be done faster. We had already moved out so the place was empty. When we got the bill (which was just a pink slip left on the counter) they charged $825 and the floors were not swept or mopped, additionally some of the counters were clearly not wiped down. I called to notify them of the floors and the gentlemen who answers the phone was basically not believing me so I sent photos and videos of proof. Later the supervisor called to apologize, which I appreciated her transparency. No one is perfect, however for the cost of this move out cleaning, this was ridiculous and unprofessional. The cleaners had to come back the next business day with a supervisor just to finish the job. They also broke some of the blinds and when I notified him of this, they said they were already old... Important to note: I had to keep asking for email confirmations, it was handled either through their website chat or phone, so it started to feel like a scam. AND, if you pay with credit card they will charge 3.9% fee, however no extra fee for cash or check. Well how are you supposed to pay with cash if you aren't at the home... when the guy called to tell me three cleaners showed up instead of two, he said that I could just leave cash at the house for them... but at that time wasn't sure of the exact cost.... Another shady aspect of this company. At the end of it, I still had no email that they finished and they called and just charged my credit card on file. I had to request an invoice be sent to me... Will never use again and do not recommend using! The only reason we needed professional cleaning was that it was in our rental contract as part of our move out.

I've never had an issue so I do recommend trying them out.

When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.

He was the only one who detailed every item involved in the bid, including update of irrigation. I've had issues in the past with bids for other projects that I assumed included the little details but didn't and then I had to pay extra. Michael's bid included every detail in writing that you would assume would be a part of a new lawn job and it was very reasonable. He also showed up on time for the initial appointment! His crew was great! Their work was very detailed and clean. The job was done within three days and all of the work area, including the driveway, was cleaned up. They even noted my falling-apart fence gate so Michael gave me a very reasonable quote and they did a great job fixing it for me. There were a lot of details for after-care and I've texted Michael multiple times to confirm. He texts back quickly and I never get the impression he's annoyed (I've sent a lot of texts!). I almost wish I had more yard renovations so that I could hire him again! I did discuss a whole-yard mulch job and will absolutely hire Michael when I'm ready for that. No more getting multiple bids for future yard renovations. I'll just call Michael.

I didn't know what to expect getting it cleaned. I have to admit that in the past, I have inquired with upholstery businesses about other sofas, but never followed through with cleaning because I thought it would be too pricey or not worth it. Shane and Bryan provide a service that is 100% worth every penny. The couch that I had them clean was dingy and had some dog hair and areas that you could tell needed cleaning. I thought it would take maybe an hour to clean, but Bryan spent probably about 3- 3.5hrs to clean my sofa making sure to get every square inch of it cleaned. I could not believe how much better it smelled and looked. You can tell that this company respects their customers and truly wants to provide the best service possible. Here is a photo of my sofa. We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!
