Service was rather disappointing given that my table was the only one present. There were no staff members at the front for periods of time. I get not having a lot of people on deck during slow times, but the people there should actually be there. Food was decent, but it is clear that the staff are not completely aware of what their menu has, or what their dishes include. We were given mixed information about what the food includes, and it felt like we had to beg for the rice that was meant to come with one of the dishes anyway. I personally cannot recommend eating here, but maybe I just came on an off day.

I went there for dinner before my flight. I ordered vegetable stew, and it took them a while to get it ready. When I ate, I could tell that the food was not freshly made, as I saw an employee take it out of the microwave. The food was overseasoned, and it tasted smushy. When I ordered, I was told it would come with rice, but later, I learned that it only came with the stew. I was wondering how I could eat the Stew itself without rice. I'm glad that they offered me rice after hearing my concern. Other than that, everything else was fine. The facility was clean; the cashier was really helpful in giving you a recommendation.

My wife and I we're looking to cater our son's first birthday party from our local Mediterranean restaurant. Unfortunately, the catering prices were a little too high for us so we ventured out. And I'm glad my wife found this place. We first stopped in to try their food and to talk with the staff about catering options and I'm so glad we did. The food first off was fantastic. So flavorful, with delicious tender meat. The customer service was fantastic. Made us feel welcome and appreciated and took their time helping us and answering our questions in regards to catering as best and much as we wanted. everyone at the party ultimately loved the food, there was so much leftover. My guests were able to take some home along with us bringing back a few trays. I recommend them not only for a quick meal dining in or dining out but also for your catering needs. Special shout out to two employees, Imran and Yasir for all of their help! They truly want us over with their fantastic professionalism and customer service. My family and I will definitely be returning sooner than later.

Got off the airport shuttle and went to this Middle Eastern restaurant in Inglewood close to the airport. It only has a couple tables inside so it's for carryout mostly it seems. Al Hamra has most of the classic favorites. Lots of the good stuff like falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and more. The platters are big and are a lot of food for an okay price. A pretty small place but they have a lot on the menu, and it's better than it looks to be honest. It's not pretty from the outside but it's clean inside. There's the counter to order at, and there's just a few tables. Most people call in orders and get it to go. We were already there so we ate there. It's about $14 for the platters. These are big and come with lots of stuff. I got the Falafel Plate. This comes with hummus, rice, and salad. Good falafel. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ones like these are best. Then I used the pitas to make sandwiches out of these. Convenient place after getting off the shuttle a few blocks from here. It's pretty quick and simple. There's great choices like the falafel for vegans and vegetarians.

This is such a great spot to takeout either to or from the airport! It's middle eastern with a south Asian flair. Their meat is grilled to perfection. Every plate comes out two skewers of meat, creamy hummus, rice and salad. (I was super hungry so I had already pulled the meat off the skewers and taken a few bites before taking the photo) If you've been to their other locations, it seems like they don't have the curries (like nihari) at this location.

I really enjoyed my lunch here today. the restaurant is very clean and has a really nice air conditioning system. the menu is very clear to read with pictures and names for each of the items. the price points are all under $20 which makes you feel like everything is affordable. they have six lunch specials all around $10 as well. I decided to get the fish plate which came with a nice piece of fish as you can see from the photo on a bed of rice and a nice homemade hummus as well as a fresh salad. I really want to highlight the salad because it was well tossed with a very late dressing into pieces of pickle a carrot and a radish. the other cool thing is they have a homemade hot sauce that comes on the side as well as a garlic sauce. if you're in the El Segundo or down by the airport I recommend this little spot.

I ordered the Chicken Kebab to go. Super happy with the portion size and all the sides that come with the meal. The chicken was tender, juicy, and definitely satisfies a bbq craving. The rice really helped bulk up the meal. I loved the pickled veggies in the salad that brought a brightness and freshness to the meal. The hummus was delicious too and I had it with the pita and the chicken. I also loved the gingery/garlicky dip they added to the side too. Would definitely order again!

The food was delicious and the owners live in our community! They were so amazing to work with when I was ordering food for company coming over for dinner. I highly suggest for take-out or big parties.

We're a family that loves cheese, so we went for all three cheese appetizer options. We got the Sizzling Feta, the Grilled Halloumi, and the Saganaki. We jokingly asked the server if it was a mistake to get so many appetizers, to which he firmly replied, "You like cheese. I can tell. You'll eat this, no problem." When I tell you we cleared those plates, I mean we absolutely demolished them. We loved all three! The Halloumi won as the overall favorite, but it was a fierce debate with strong support for each dish. Based on the Yelp reviews talking about how good the lamb is, I got the Lamb Souvlaki sandwich. It was delicious! The lamb was incredibly well-cooked, quite tender and very flavorful. The whole package of the pita, with the lamb balanced against the tzatziki and salad, was fantastic. If you're a meat-eater, I highly recommend it. If you're a vegetarian, my family also really enjoyed the Falafel sandwich and the Spanakopita. The Spanakopita was made like a turnover and its pastry was super buttery, perfectly light and flaky. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, nicely moist. It was a hit! The service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. While my family initially raised their eyebrows at the restaurant (it's sandwiched between a motel and a car wash), they were converted by the cheese and were devotees by the time we finished our entrees. We loved it!

The only minor issue I ran into was parking. At first, I thought the restaurant didn't have its own parking lot since it's connected to a small hotel. The restaurant itself is easy to spot from the outside and isn't confusing to find at all, but I wasn't sure where guests were supposed to park. I ended up parking farther away and walking over. Once inside, I noticed a sign mentioning restaurant parking and learned that customers can park in the hotel's lot. I mention this only to save future customers a little confusion--it wasn't a big deal at all, and I quickly moved my car closer. The restaurant itself is relatively small and connected to one of those cozy hotels you often see around the LAX area. It has the feel of a hidden local spot rather than a busy tourist destination, which honestly adds to its charm. I arrived around 5:30 PM and was surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. There were only a couple of occupied tables, and only one more arrived while we were there. Honestly, I don't know what people are thinking because they're missing out on something special. I was dining with my 8-year-old nephew, one of those kids who survives almost exclusively on chicken nuggets, noodles, ranch, and other familiar foods. Getting him to try something new is usually a challenge. I ordered him a chicken gyro, and he absolutely loved it. I jokingly told him the tzatziki sauce was ranch, and from that point on he was completely sold. For myself, I ordered the moussaka. I chose it purely for the experience, not because I expected to love it. It turned out to be one of the most delicious restaurant dishes I've had in months. Seriously, months. The layers of eggplant, meat, and creamy béchamel came together perfectly. It was rich, comforting, and unforgettable. The funniest part? My nephew kept asking for more of my food. He was convinced the eggplant was chicken and ended up eating nearly half of my moussaka. If an extremely picky 8-year-old enjoys a dish like that, I think that says everything. We also ordered the lamb souvlaki, which was outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. This place is a true hidden gem. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Our bill came to about $86 before tip for three entrées and two Cokes, and honestly, it was some of the best money I've spent on food all month. Will I be back? Absolutely. In fact, I'm already planning to return within the next few weeks. If you've never tried Greek food before, this is a great place to start.
