But we got here instead. The Bangkok sampler was really good. It came with wontons and crab rangoons that were both delightfully delicious. The tempura was good too but I've never had a place that made tempura taste better than other places. My friend got the boat soup and he enjoyed it a lot. Boy, when my taste buds are in the mood, they don't stop gnawing at me until they get what they want! (There were screams of Thai food, so Thai food it is!) So I did my search, and thanks to Yelp, I found a new place to try. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile now, and figured, "It's time." It's seasoned alright, but the thickness of it took away the crab's main essence. However, when I got to the crab, nothing but YUM. If they lessen the batter, it might just be better eats... BASIL CRISPY PORK: Now this was packed with tons of flavor! There was nothing wrong with this dish. Salt level was perfect, pork was still crispy despite it sitting on the sauce and an only a hint of heat (I requested to make it mild spicy.) The bell peppers added taste as well as texture. We've ordered takeout from here a handful of times for lunch at work. I''ve tried the pad see ew, pad thai, and the Angel Wings. The Angel Wings are my favorite. They're stuffed and deep-fried, and the filling is really flavorful. The dipping sauce that comes with it is savory. Every time we order from here, that's the one dish I actually look forward to. I tried the pad thai once and I did not like it. It came out dry and didn't have enough sauce. It tasted a bit bland overall. Maybe it was just an off day, but I haven't ordered it again since. The pad see ew is better in my opinion. It's not the best I've ever had, but it's still good and satisfying. The portions are also really generous. The service was great, but the only confusing thing for me was deciphering the American names for all the dishes when I'm used to the Thai names utilized in restaurants many of the other places I travel and live. No biggie! I was able to educate the server what each dish meant and how it was said in Thai. Wow, this is one of the best places for Thai, definitely worth a visit. Has most of the common entrees and some not so common.

There is a parking lot with lots of spaces infront of the restaurant. This is for a weekday 2:30pm lunch review. I had the lunch special and I asked for Thai ice tea no milk. Our waitress gave us Thai ice tea with milk. After returning it, she gave is regular American black tea that is unsweetened. Our waitress lacks Thai food knowledge. Minus 1 star. For my chicken dish, I asked if it was dark meat or white meat and Our waitress doesn't know. Minus 1 star. We also asked for ice water but our waitress forgot to bring them until we ask for it 2 or 3 times. Minus 1 star. My chicken dish required a knife and I was not given a knife. I had to eat my chicken with my hands. For $17.95 lunch special, you need to train your staff. Minus 1 star. We did not get our water or tea refill. :( :( :( The dining area is very nice and cozy. I love this place. I have literally been eating here since they opened. The customer service is awesome. The owner is a jewel. She always ensures the customers are enjoying the food and enjoying the ambiance. Typically when I go, Kevin helps me. His customer service is impeccable, as well as the other servers who work there. The lunch specials are served Monday thru Friday and is $13.95. It comes with fried wonton, salad, white rice and drink. For drinks; the choices are soda, lemonade, Thai tea, milk tea and boba. There is an extra $1 for fried rice or brown rice. I came here with my mom and we each got lunch specials. We got the Green Curry with Chicken and the Pad Thai with Chicken. We shared and so I was able to try a bit of both. Out of our two lunch entrees; the Green Curry was my favorite. The Green Curry definitely has a kick to it and is be prepared it can be a bit of the spicy side. I really enjoyed the curry broth. It was perfect over white rice. They also were fairly generous with the chicken meat inside the curry. The Pad Thai was also good. It was not as sweet flavored as I would have liked and they did not have any peanuts. It was a solid Pad Thai though. I do have to note that I was surprised they served the Pad Thai with rice. In other Thai places; they usually don't include rice with noodle lunch specials. Each lunch special came with fried wontons. I loved that the wontons were filled with chicken. These were nice little sides/appetizers. The other thing I really loved about their lunch specials is that it comes with drinks. We both got the Thai tea with boba. Boba was not extra charge. They gave a huge cup of Thai tea. The curry here is really flavorful and has just the right amount of spice. Unfortunately, it's served with white rice, which is tough and chewy--not the best match for the curry. If you're not familiar with Thai food, it might not be a huge issue, but for those who are, it's hard to fully enjoy the dish. Thai cuisine typically avoids using white rice with curry. Most Thai restaurants serve jasmine rice, which is much softer, absorbs the sauce better, and doesn't feel like chewing on rubber bands. The steps of service were not in order and the servers had a negative attitude and were not friendly. At the time there were only 2 other tables. We waited a while to get our order in (which I've been patient about before since the food is good), the appetizers came out first then our drinks, the drinks were made incorrectly, and the server slammed our waters on the table.
