We ordered Chicken Shawarma , Aladdin Veggie Roll (Chef's Favorite) and Chicken Aladdin Fries. The rolls by default come in a Tortilla wrap instead of the traditional pita wrap for which you need to pay extra $. Chicken roll was good with the right spice mix and Chicken pieces were soft and tasted good. The alladin veggie special came with falafel, cauliflower and other veggies and was good as well. The loaded Fries with chicken was amazing. Chicken, cheese and fries - a high guilt trip ride but worth the taste! Will remember to order and pay for pita when we order next time! Had an awful experience at the other location on 50th last week, and I was pleasantly surprised by an extra nice and courteous server working the register today who cooked some extra delicious food and didn't charge me 75 cents for a couple drops of hot sauce. WOW! Our first time trying this spot out today and we are definitely impressed. We ordered two Aladdin Gyro's, both under $10 and the Aladdin fries, also $9 and some change. Full disclosure: THE ALADDIN FRIES ARE A FULL MEAL IN ITSELF! We were unable to eat the fries after our gyro's, but good news is that the fries taste great cold too! I'm sure you could also pop them in the oven if you wanted to, or microwave. The Tzatziki sauce is definitely #1 in terms of taste from other Greek spots we've been to. I found Aladdin Gyro-cery to be just your basic late night eatery. I think they are open super late for the drunken college crowd. Pretty close to UW. Not sure if it was just an off night for them, or for that matter an of night for me. Me and two buddies ordered food to share. A gigantic chicken shawarma, that I thought was somewhat on the dry side and a Large Greek Fries covered in feta cheese. The fries were a little soft, probably from being covered up by cheese, then covered in a box. So they tasted like they were steamed, instead of fried. I mean, I was full when I left even though we split the food in 3's, but I wasn't really feeling the flavors they had going on. The food portions to prices are great, but, for me the flavors just weren't there. The inside is cozy and definitely has the divey vibe. Not that there is anything wrong with divey places. Maybe I'll just have to try this place again when I come back into town to visit and re-evaluate everything. read more

I'm pleasantly surprised by this place. It's clean. Food is not greasy. And everything seems pretty fresh. Don't let the store front fool you. This might be an all-time great late night food spot. I was brought here by a friend of mine after a long night, and we were welcomed in with open arms by the very friendly workers. I was feeling like eating a million fries, and they told me that one of their best selling items were the Aladdin fries. Although my friend was telling me that I was making a HUGE mistake by not ordering the shawarma, I had to go for it. I was really surprised by the layout of this place. It's pretty hilarious that they have couches you can sit on after you order your food. This seems like it would be a bad idea when you have floods of dizzy UW kids streaming in and spilling shawarmas. No worries though, they keep those couches sparkling, and it feels like you're just hanging out at somebody's house when you're hammering down some munchies. We ended up kicking it in here for about 2 hours, until they kicked us out in the nicest way possible (slowly putting up all of the chairs around us). I have been dreaming about the Aladdin fries for weeks. The perfect crispiness of those thangs, covered in that beautiful white sauce, with huge chunks of meat piled on top. Misread the menu and thought I was ordering a fava bean salad and pita spread with cheese and zatar but it turns out those menu items are sandwiches! Each consisted of a warm pita folded in half, piled high either either mashed fava beans or feta and zatar, slathered in tazieki sauce and raw vegetables. I ate both sandwiches that night since I didn't think they would keep well- I was pleasantly stuffed! Each sandwich was delicious in it's own right - the fava beans warm and filling, while the zatar and feta created a tastebud explosion. They are amazing! I tried them for the first time yesterday and was really satisfied. My boyfriend recommend me to them as he has been eating their gyros for like 10 years. Although I trust him, i was a bit hesitant because I have been eating Mediterranean food by whole life and he hasn't. Also don't try to call them to order ahead, lol I learned my lesson. Tl;dr delicious food, perfect for ending a late night out although its a bit heavy/salty Do yourself a favor and order the Aladdin fries. The fries and big and soak up the lamb and beef juice, sauce, and feta cheese. Adding hot sauce can add a nice kick to it. The atmosphere varies depending on what time you get here. It can be really chill and low key during the day, but have a line out the door at night. The food is consistently really good and I love their lamb and beef which is juicy and delicious. The food does get pretty salty, so make sure to get some water to take some breaks while eating. I've had their gyros before which are really good, but the Aladdin fries are my go-to order and honestly I don't get tired of them. It's basically what everyone I know orders. This place is on the ave so it caters to a college crowd. That being said for the amount and quality of food you get, its a pretty good value.
