Food was very good. I had a chicken kebab and my husband had the beyti kabab. If I rated based on just food, it would be 4.5! I was a quite disappointed because we went on Saturday at 6:30pm and they were completely out of all pide, ezme, haydari, and the pickles so the menu was pretty limited. We ended up ordering fries as an appetizer since that's all they had. The entrees also said they come with bulgar and rice but we did not have any bulgar on our dish..it also said we should have roasted peppers and onions, which were not on our dish either. I assume they were out of all of those? We really wanted hummus but it was not on the menu. When we finished our meal, we noticed the table behind us had hummus... it would have been nice to know they had hummus. Also, we really wanted to try the manti but did not see it on the menu. At the end of the meal, my husband wanted a coffee and the waitress said there was no coffee and the machine was broke. Service was ok. Waitress forgot our drink. Not very attentive. Dining area is small but cute. They are planning to expand the dining area so there really isn't much of a market anymore. Prices are pretty high in comparison to most Turkish/middle eastern restaurants. They do give you yummy bread and Babaganoush. Tonight, my wife and I decided to try a new Mediterranean restaurant. We stumbled across Akkadian's Kitchen on Yelp! They are a Mediterranean with heavy Turkish influences.. We walked in and at first , all you see is a really nice Mediterranean/Turkish convenient store with a new pastry area and a to go fast food looking area with 2 or 3 tables. It's be try deceiving. If you walk around the right side of the food/pastry display, you will see the dining room. The room I had a very comfortable ambiance and soft music playing. The very nice woman greeted us immediately and welcomed us to sit anywhere we wanted. The menu had so many delicious appetizers, breakfast items, lunch, kebabs, etc. this food is authentic as well! We ordered the hummus with pastirma, a beef kibbeh, and shared the main dish that had beef kabob, rice, and onion/parsley salad. All the food was EXCELLENT! The hummus was so smooth and the meat was similar to bacon..... mmm mmm! The beef kibbeh was amazing! To me it tasted like a similar falafel but a meaty version. The main dish... wow! The ground beef kabobs were so favorable and tender! The rice was delicious. Everything tasted so fresh! I can't say enough about this establishment! They are a little pricey but you feel like you are getting what you pay for!!! Everything was delicious and we cannot wait to come back! Small Turkish restaurant inside of a market. The space was nice and many lights inside. There is also an outside patio area to customers. The service was pretty slow but the food was good. The meat was little salty to my liking but juicy and everyone else loved it. The dumplings were yummy. Small but tasted great. We ordered the lentil soup and main dishes. The tea was nice but didn't know the Turkish coffee would come in a tiny cup. I guess I was expecting a regular size cup. I was a little disappointed with the dessert though. I got some macaroons (they were hard as rocks) and not sure if they ran out of the pistachio pavlona because the one the cashier gave me was pink and not green like in the pictures. I heard about Aladdin recently and decided to check it out since I enjoy A Thousand Tales and Zey Zey. Aladdin is actually a small grocery store in a dinky plaza, but if you go to the back-right of the store, you can enter into the restaurant. It's nice and cordoned off, so it feels like a standalone restaurant. The interior design is okay. It's very beige, but it's clean and well-maintained. It feels upscale. Service was friendly. Pricing is definitely on the higher end, as it cost over $60 with tax & tip for just two entrees. In any case, the menus were actually presented to us in the form of tablets. After browsing through, the waitress came over and took our order. We went with beyti kabob ($21.99) since they didn't have iskender kabob yet, and ali nazik ($24.99). The beyti kabob was really tasty. It was kind of like a burrito or wrap with kefta kabob, chopped up into several small pieces, topped with tomato sauce. It was served with yogurt and bulgur. The ali nazik was beef chunks served atop an eggplant/yogurt dip, which was also a delicious dish. Very good food; just a bit pricey. read more

We came here for dinner tonight and was informed that there was a set menu for $33 due to the Ramadan, we were excited to try it and it turned out great! There were so much food, it included appetizers, soup, main plate of meat and rice, drink, tea, and dessert. They were all very big portion and they all tasted great! First of all, the food here is phenomenal. We ordered the beef shish kebab, the chicken shish kebab, and the beef dumplings. Between the three it fed 3 adults and a toddler and we still took home a full plate, so which their prices are on the higher end for a single entree you could probably order one entree plus an appetizer for two people. Back to the food. Very high quality and delicious! Probably the best Turkish restaurant I've been to. Highly recommend visiting. Service wasn't great, but it seems like they recently opened so I'm sure they'll figure it out. I'm so excited to have this new neighborhood gem! We went for lunch and ordered the Turkish eggplant-Saksuka, the Pistachio Kebab entree, and the large Acibedem for dessert. The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I fell in love with the Acibadem and wish I could eat it every day! The service was wonderful. The restaurant is located behind the store which sells Turkish groceries . It is clean , average noise with washroom available The seating was clean and tidy but not overtly fancy . Casual dining place, ok for couples with parking out front. Service was a bit slow, they had a number of people but seemed to be playing catch up and hence one star less. Also took a while to get our bill at the end. Would have expected a little more on the service front The food was good, the Adani kabobs were well done and flavorful, so was the beiti kabobs. Not sure I would get the lamb chops as the lamb was very chewy and the soft flavorful lamb was not really bright out in their dish. The saksuka and yogurt was good. Bread was cold and not soft, Ben too a number of Turkish Mediterranean restaurants and would have liked warmer soft pieces of bread. Too Expensive! They added the service fee without even asking! Kokorech was $25 which consists of mostly bread. Restaurant space is small and not fancy, I don't know what costs that much! Paid $86 for a regular two person meal. Never paid that much before! read more

Three of us came to Aladdin to share dishes and taste Turkish food. The man who seated us handed each of us a tablet and said the menu was on the tablet. He explained that if an item had "out of stock" it was not available. We studied the menu and were so disappointed to see the Eggplant Kabobs were out of stock. When he came back to take our order I mentioned the one dish we wanted to try was the Eggplant Kabobs but the menu said it was out of stock. The waiter said they did have it. I showed him that the menu said out of stock. He went to the kitchen to check and came back saying they did have it. We ordered a lentil soup which was like colored water. There wasn't any flavor. We ordered the Kefta-Kabobs and the Eggplant Kabobs. For an appetizer we ordered a yogurt like dish and bread to dip in it. The dip was a bit too tart and the yogurt taste overwhelmed what ever spices they put in. I felt the Kefta Kabobs were too dry. My friends agreed. Of all the dishes we ordered the eggplant kabobs were the best. I was expecting the eggplant to be roasted but it was steamed and without much flavor. The menu shows a list of coffees. Turkish, Black Coffee, Machiano, etc. We ordered three Black coffees but were served (and charged extra for the) Turkish Coffee. The waiter said they don't have American coffee. I asked about dessert. The waiter said they don't have a dessert menu, I need to go up front to the store to see what is available from the bakery. We shared one slice of chocolate cake. It was thin layers of cake, chocolate whipped cream, cake, & more whipped cream. The cake layers were dry and clearly had been sitting there a day or more. I asked for the bill. It was on the tablet, immediately I said, "That's wrong." As the first item was not one we ordered. I thought he had shown me someone else's bill. He said oh yes and removed the first item. The rest of the bill was accurate. The screen asked if I wanted to add a tip. I asked if the tip was already in the bill and he said that it was and he pressed no tip. I saw that there was an 18% service charge. The service was good. Only one other table was there when we were. A woman who did not speak English was in the dining room clearing a table and wiping down tables. The bathroom, a one seater, was clean and well maintained. read more
