Finally made it in to try this restaurant. It is very comfortable in the dining room with its white interior and accent lighting. Dine in is only available during dinner hours. Lunch is take out only so plan ahead. I chose their Mixed Grill Plate so I can sample several of their items. The plate consisted of beef and chicken kabob plus a beef kofta, salad, rice, pita, and a choice of hummus or baba ganoush. The baba ganoush was the best I have ever tasted. So smoky and flavorful! I could just have that with pita and would be very satisfied. The meats were savory and flavorful. Rice is a seasoned long grain rice which is not basmati but tastes good with the meats. Unfortunately, Foul from their appetizer menu was not available. This fava bean dish is one of my favorites and I wanted to try theirs. Maybe next visit. Staff is friendly and attentive. Was driving down and was looking for fresh and healthy food in the desert. Stumbled across this spot and tried their food. The food was 4 out of 5 because I had some great Mediterranean food in Los Angeles and Riverside area. For being in the middle of no where this place was pretty damn good. I got their chicken kabob plate which it came with rice, veggies, salad, hummus and pita bread. It was really good and fresh. I paid under $20 after tax. The price was reasonable as well. The restaurant was super clean and the atmosphere was really nice. There was only one server there but his service was absolutely amazing. He was always there to check up on you and friendly. In college, close to 20 years ago I took a cultural awareness class and we came here to experience the food, it truly is amazing. Learning about the culture, respect and then tasting the food was life changing. Now with a true respect for the culture and food, I am so happy to hear that they are still serving. The food was delicious and super fresh it reminds me of Ala Al Deena if you know you know. We ordered the mid meat plate and the lamb meat was well flavored and tender. What an amazing spot! We ordered for pickup and the worker on the phone was so nice. They even called back to be sure they got something correct and didn't mishear which I appreciate. Once we got there the restaurant was clean and inviting. The girl who rang me up, Sara, was so friendly and personable! She even helped me carry out the food to my car. Really sucks that my favorite Mediterranean place I've been eating at forever decided they wanted to raise their prices..... Again. This time the price increase is absurd though. $5 increase on main course meal. I could understand a slight increase of $1-$2, but $5 is far too much. What's even more absurd, is that not only was the price increased almost to a gouging rate, the portion sizes decreased in size. Not sure if they expect people to continue coming in with a $5 dollar increase, just to get less food then prior to the increase. So severely disappointed. Personally, I would've Not taking the food and asked for a refund if it was me, unfortunately, it was my girlfriend who went to make the order, and when I saw what I was charged on my card, I was shocked, but not as shocked as when the meal got home and it was a considerably noticeable difference in portion size, which ultimately literally created an argument between me and the better half. I understand that has nothing to do with a review in regards to the food and service but, it was solely responsible for the argument. What a great spot in Victorville for some really good Mediterranean food. Got the chicken kebab and Kofta Kebab which is beef and lamb. Very tasty and delicious. Comes with rice, salad, hummus (or babaganoush) grilled onion and tomato amd a thick pita bread... the only downside is they don't have garlic sauce but have Tahin. I wohld definitely come again when driving through the area. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Very clean. And nice decor inside. Bathrooms are very clean. We stopped here on our way from out of town. There was inly one person in front of us. We were told it would be about 15 minutes, which is completely reasonable. I'm not leaving a bad review because the food was bad, that wasn't the case here. My husband and our two kids went to dinner here on Friday as a nice treat out. We were very hungry and exited to eat here, as my family had just raved how tasty it was. When we got it we were greeted and seated quickly, but then it all went down hill from there. We waited a very long time to order as our sever Samuel kept repeating "I'll be right back" which turned into him and other servers taking multiple orders ahead of ours - tables that came in way after us. As we were continuously being ignored, I decided to go up to the counter to let Samuel know we were ready to order. He says he will be right over. He seemed flustered and irritated considering the situation. He comes over to take our order and I'm happy to say that goes well. We wait an hour after we order. No food. Samual was walking past our table and I ask "is our food almost out" Samuel says "about 5 more minutes" . Great. We can do 5 more minutes we already waited an hour. Not considering the time it took him to take our order in the first place. And at this point we were very hungry so we wanted to wait it out. Unfortunately 5 mins turns into another 15. We stand up to leave and pay for my husband's beer to leave. Samuel comes out with our food unfortunately as we were already set to leave. Asks if we would like our food to go, we decline unless the meal was comped considering we sat hungry for well over an hour an a half with our two little kids. Watching at least TWO tables that came in at least 20mins AFTER US EAT THEIR MEALS, PAY , AND LEAVE before we ever even got our food. Samual acted like he could never even be bothered to hear why we were upset. Not reconciling, other than offering us a free baklava. LOL after all that. Felt like a slap in the face, Samual. We leave not making a big fuss. But as me and my husband talk about what happens we decided the way we were treated was not okay and the customer service was terrible. We call in about 10 mins later to talk to the manager / owner. He informs us that they are not in and that the owners come in for closing around 7:30, he said they would give us a call. He took down our name and number and assured us we would be getting a call. We never got a call. So I am leaving a review to explain the terrible time we had at this restaurant we were exited to go to. You can have great tasting food, but if you aren't treating your customers well it doesn't even matter. read more
