DELICIOUS. This is the best falafel I have ever eaten. My parents and I frequent Aladdin's whenever I am in town. We always get the vegetarian combo, which features baba, hummus, pita, grape leaves, tabouli, and falafel. Food is always fresh and delicious. I love the lentil soup and no visit is complete without it. The restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options, which is great news for me! The desserts are also superb and the beverages are quite tasty. I enjoy the pomegranate green tea. read more

This is my go-to mediterranean spot. The Chicken Shishtawook roll is my usual (get a side of their homemade hot sauce), plus a side salad (aladdin's dressing is amazing). I haven't had schwarma in a while. I remembered seeing Aladdin's Eatery since I've often been in the area and I decided to give this place a shot, based on their array of delicious sounding menu items. I arrive, order a lamb schwarma, paid $7.75 for it, waited 10 mins, was handed to me with a sweet (but later I found out, evil) smile from the hostess.The schwarma was wrapped up but felt thin and a little on the light side. I thought maybe they had the lamb packed nice and tight in there. I get back to my cubicle and unwrapped it. I was greeted by the saddest looking sorry excuse of a schwarma. The "chef" tossed 3 small pieces of lamb, some veggies, some pink sourish yogurt sauce, then hastily wrapped it up, then sat on it. I am from Assam, India and grew up poor but I am telling you, even the poorest-looking streetfood there would be hailed by Gordon Ramsey as restaurant-quality compared to this piece of crap. I am appalled at the lack of sophistication and presentation (and most importantly, taste) from a $7.75 schwarma. But being an Indian from humble origins, I thought of the poor people I knew back home, and dutifully scarfed it down. 15 mins later, I paid with Delhi Belly. In the world of food, I would analogize this with molecular gastronomy. read more

We had a party of 4 and our service was terrible. Initially it took a while for us to order, and that was our fault due to having 2 kids with us, but after that it was almost like the waiter was hoping we had left. I initially ordered soup, asking to have it brought out before the meals, and I never received it. We tried to catch out waiter's attention several times and it was almost as if he was ignoring us. I have been to several Aladdin's restaurants before, in Hudson and Fairlawn and they were great!, but this location is just not up to par. also the waiter's hair looked dirty and only had a head band that kept falling down the back of his head. read more

I honestly can't express how this place made me feel. As a man... I've never felt more protected and comforted while eating, and this is all thanks to our wonderful server who is "still Rich". The food I'm sure was great but was even better because of still rich. The atmosphere...amazing because of still rich. All in all... Aladdin's has reasonably priced vegan options featuring hummus, falafel and other dishes. But it does not yet have vegan pastries, and sometimes condiments, catsup or mustard, are not easy to obtain. read more

Old reliable--decent cheap eats.

Ordered the lentil soup and falafel wrap and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. Portions were pretty large too. I forgot our server's name, but he was wonderful--super friendly. The Highland Square location has a big patio. It's a nice touch. read more

the food is fabulous and while the service is less than steller, it's OK because getting your stuff TO GO is where it's at. the music is the same stuff over and over again (middle eastern tunes) and there isn't a lot of seating. the patio fills up quickly in the summer. try the loubie bzeit next time your get hummus/baba/pita. not to be missed: garlic sauce, hot sauce, fattoush. read more

Once in awhile you have amazing service. Service thats so good you don't even know it's happening & yet days later you are still marveling at the ease of the whole experience. Not to mention in a most unexpected place. I had one of those days at Aladdins on Saturday. Of course you are probably here about the food, so let me skip to that - delicious as always. Ordered my usual hummus (with hot sauce) and kibbie. The kibbie arrives hot & from experience I know how delicious it is & can barely wait for it to cool to eat it! Protein in a guilty pleasure = perfect. Fresh pita that is readily replenished to accompany every last bit of hummus, also perfect (as always.) But it was the service that has prompted this effort days later. Conversational, but only until the other party arrived, asked IF I wanted to wait I order, didn't assume, offered more water & tea to the bitter end. Oh & I didn't want to wait to order, I was so hungry! And yet I can't even really tell you when it all happened. Absolutely graceful! read more

The chicken shawerma meat was expired and it was obvious by the smell. The Kiba (meat balls) was below average and not authentic at all. Safiha is good and mixed grilled was okay (make sure you ask for well-done meat if you are middle-eastern). Absolutely amazing, healthy, fresh food that is consistent. On point every single visit. Been there a hundred times and have never had a bad experience at all. Wish we had one in Wooster, Ohio. I think we would eat there several days per week. We drive 50mins to eat at Fairlawn or Akron. Please consider Wooster, we have an overload of people and not many healthy options. read more

My go-to lunch place! I love the vegan-friendly menu and the staff are so attentive. Their hummus and hot sauce are the best I've ever had. If i could afford to eat here every day, i would. Something about the food and atmosphere is just so..comforting. its loud, busy, and friendly. the menu is quite extensive and ive eaten basically every dish and every smoothie combination. never have i been disappointed. Good place to bring a date because the lighting and atmosphere are romantic but not too quiet and you can people-watch to ease some of the pressure. read more

My wife and I were sat at a dirty table even though on a Thursday at 6pm there were lots of empty tables....strange for an evening in Montrose. Every other restaurant was bustling. The hummus was very good. Whipped smooth and the serving size was good for 6 people; we didn't finish it. I asked the waiter about the Loubie platter. His reply was "do you like tomatoes and green beans? You'll like it!" Anyway, I got the Loubie platter and the rice tasted exactly like that chicken flavored Minute rices. Cooked way too long and very soft. The Loubie was short cut green beans, tomatoes and garlic cloves. They were also cooked so long they were squishey and disgusting. Again, the serving size was huge. I've been the the Aladdins in Highland Square and didn't like it either. They won't burn me again with their junk. read more

Our first experience at Aladdin's and it lived up to the recommendations! I enjoyed all of the vegetarian options. The Aladdin's Falafel Rolled was especially amazing. The hummus was great, and the best part -- they'll refill your pita's to continue dipping! Delicious! read more
