!! Dashers Beware !! I've been working DoorDash and picking up from this location is the worst. The people who work there are nice, but couldn't care less about your order. They DO NOT prioritize DoorDash orders. When you arrive, regardless of the time of day, you will likely be told they are still working on your order. I have, on multiple occasions, went in to pickup an order while there were ZERO customers in the place and they still don't have the order ready or even close to being ready. A typical wait time for this location is 15+ minutes. In that amount of time, you could get other offers and not be waisting 20 minutes of downtime on one order from Aladdin's. I don't accept any DoorDash orders for this restaurant anymore because I've waited over 20 minutes for an order and the staff are sitting at tables chatting up each other with no regard for the take out orders coming in. My first time eating from this restaurant, and I can't wait to eat more! I ordered delivery, and I ordered a feast! I got a Lebanese salat and added chicken. Hummus with veggies and a side of pita and loubie bezit. What a delicious feast. The flavors are bold and fresh. My salat was loaded with cucumber, tomato, and a herb forward dressing. I also appreciated the large serving of chicken. This was light and delicious! The hummus is some of the best I've had. Very creamy and smooth and perfect for dipping! I got a small portion, and I had plenty of leftovers. The loubie bezit was a surprise. I just picked something that sounded good and have never heard of. There were many whole garlic cloves and a nice touch of heat in a tomatoey sauce. Plenty of green beans. Really tasty dish! There is so much more on the menu I want to try! read more

Aladdn's was our last stop before heading to the airport, I was craving fresh and healthy and they delivered in that regard. Service was friendly, restaurant was quiet on a midweek afternoon. Three of us shared a chicken shawarma rolled sandwich, a salad and Aladdin's favorite plate - everything was fresh (especially the produce) and flavorful, but I found it odd that the wrap didn't include any sort of side and the menu was laid out in such a way where there didn't appear to be an easy way to just add on fries or a side salad for my father in law. My husband had the plate and I had the salad, and really the only difference was the type of protein and the plate had rice. Very odd for a Mediterranean place not to have pita, and it wasn't suggested or offered. I would also have expected a favorite plate to include some sort of dip or spread like hummus? But the menu is large enough that it is a little overwhelming. Good lunch option, I like that they have a patio available for nice days, very clean inside. read more

It was just the right balance of flavor taste, and spice. The order was ready in the exact time that was estimated. It is located inside a shopping area with other restaurants around as well, but I would take this any day for my Mediterranean fix in the area. Food options are delicious but every time I have eaten there, no matter what I order, inevitably I feel that something in the food (possibly an oil blend that I suspect they are using instead of just pure olive oil in which to cook the food) gives a queasy feeling. Also, sometimes the grilled meat has fat in it instead of just meat. Prices could be lower and I don't think are fully justified, including given the geography of the area. Otherwise, would go there again and will be more careful about what to order. But, if they use canola or other non-olive oil oils in their foods, they really should stop doing this. read more

I've eaten at one in Raleigh NC and this place was even better. The facility was very nice and clean and all tables were ready for patrons. I ordered the Small Hummus and Beef Kafta roll and they were both very flavorful. The hummus came with a ton of Pita slices and without any hot sauce but they did provide a side of hot sauce to add as needed. This was a great lunch and I will be back for another visit. read more

As part of a road trip, I stopped to charge my car and happened to find this local Mediterranean place outside of Pittsburgh. I thought I'll stop and check it out for lunch. It's a pretty big place with many tables and a nice/clean set up. The staff was really nice. Things moved a bit slow, which given it was pretty empty was a bit of a surprise. Lastly, I ordered the falafel and hummus pita roll. It was fine. I personally don't tend to like the pickle and turnips in my sandwich, which they included. Might be my bad for not excluding them from my order. I removed them as I ate the roll as much as possible. I'd also say the falafel themselves seemed a bit dry. Overall the sandwich was fine. Oh, the sauces cost extra. I asked for tahini and hot sauce and each one coats an extra $0.75. I didn't think the tahini was great. The hot sauce was decent, though not very spicy. read more

The roll was full of flavor and was quite unique. The chicken was moist and we both really enjoyed the banana peppers. The flavor savor, though good, seemed a little lacking on portion size--massive portion of hummus, small side salad, small portion of rice, and the meat. The beef was pink inside, yet dry. Not sure the pink is normal, but I was unable to eat it since any amount of raw meat is not recommended for pregnancy. The chicken looked like it was going to be dry but I was pleasantly surprised that it was very moist. We got a slice of baklava cheesecake for dessert. It was quite good and unique. Ordered a chicken curry roll for takeout over the weekend as I was intrigued by the menu description which included some vegetables, banana peppers, Dijon mustard and American cheese of all things! We have always loved Aladdin - when my son still lived at home it was the one take out he ever asked for and when he comes back from Chicago we have it again. I've enjoyed their new space in Southpoint, having lunch there with colleagues, as it's close to campus. Their souvlaki, gyro, kofta and salads are always flavorful and fresh - love the lemon tahini dressing. We also shared the grape leaves which were also excellent. Aladdins is happy to cater to vegetarian and vegan eaters, as well as gluten free eaters which is a plus. After scrolling 'vegan friendly restaurants near me' we chose Aladdin's. I was so pleasantly surprised at the sheer volume of vegan food available. I chose the Falafel Pitza and my sister got the beef shawarma. We were both really happy with our food. My pitza was full of flavor, I did not miss having meat or cheese. The pita crust was lovely and crispy, the falafel was seasoned just right. And the meal did not break the bank. $21.00 for both of us and I took food home. I am lucky to have a few good Middle Eastern restaurants nearby, so I was excited to try Aladdin's. It's situated in a cute shopping plaza and it has a great outdoor dining area. While the food is good, service is a bit off. The menu has lots of your most common Middle Eastern selections - hummus, tabbouli, kebab. There is also a fairly large selection of dishes built around the pita, such as rolled handheld sandwich pitas and "pizzas". Lots of the menu seems more Americanized. I found the food good and fresh, but no where near as delicious as other nearby places. Wait staff also didn't seem very helpful. The first time I went I was the first lunch customer looking for a nice lunch with my daughter. We were seated in a corner table. The group arriving immediately after was a young couple with two small children was seated right next to us - in an empty restaurant. Sharing a wall bench with a toddler who keeps poking you isn't fun. I get it - I took my kids out too. But to seat them butt up against us was crazy. The second time my waiter was hard to find and apathetic. If the staff could push for some energy and common sense Aladdin's would rate much higher to me. read more

My husband and I were visiting my family who were perplexed at what to feed two vegans. We suggested Aladdin's for dinner as we had taken my grandma to their Youngstown location earlier in the week. Are here three times in one visit! The spicy cauliflower was amazingly tasty and was loved by my picky eater mother, who went back for seconds she loved it so much! The hummus was light and citrusy, perfectly balanced and the whole family love it as well as the baba ghanouj. The falafel was some of the best I've had and we two vegans were greatly satisfied. The rest of the family had some meat dishes as well but the cauliflower and dips were the real stars. My meat loving brother said his favorite dish was the hummus! We had lamb salad, the Aladdin's special, and pita pitza and the chicken tenders for the kiddos. Personally I was not a fan of the pita pitza, neither were the boys. They both tried a couple pieces of it and turned it down. Not sure why- it was different and no too bad :) The star of the show was the hot sauce that came with my hummus shawarma. The pita bread was great also. The lamb salad was very good. Definitely got a Togo box for it as it was a very large portion and worth the 20. I however I was not a huge fan of the dressings. I was over in the area doing some shopping and decided to stop in on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Absolutely nobody was in the restaurant or at the tables outside. I stood for a minute before someone acknowledged that I was there. I placed my order and ended up having to wait about 15 minutes for it, which is okay. While I was waiting a couple came in to dine inside and they were greeted promptly. The price wasn't bad - something like $16 for everything, including a drink. I ordered falafel and the chicken shawarma rolled pita. The falafel was excellent. It had obviously been fried to order. It had a wonderful flavor and the dipping sauce was good. The shawarma pita was a big disappointment and is why my rating is only 4 stars. I have had shawarma before so I know what it should taste like... and this wasn't it. It was very dry and had very little flavor. I tasted more onion than anything else. I would go back if I was craving the falafel, but otherwise I think I'll stick with some of the more authentic places nearer the city. read more

Is it possible to find good food that isn't Pub grub... It is and we found it at Aladdin's Eatery in Cranberry. Coming from the San Fernando valley in Los Angeles we were fortunate enough to have so much different Middle Eastern food available everywhere, so when my family went looking for something different we followed our trusty Yelp App. straight to Aladdin's. Located in the middle of a strip mall with tons of parking this little jewel of Cranberry was exactly what we were looking for. After finding a seat at a nice corner table it wasn't long before we picked out a bunch of delicious looking food from the menu. We started with Hummus and fresh pita bread which was fantastic. Next we had the Italian green bean appetizer (I don't like green beans but I ate the hell out of these). I went with the Aladdin's favorite combo that came with both chicken and beef (chunks and a lulu kabob) rice and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious but we found our meat a tad overcooked and dry, but that was quickly fixed with the addition of two of their amazing sauces (Garlic and Hot sauce) which I highly recommend. Service was good and prices were good for what you got. Flavors were all terrific and really hit the spot for that slightly exotic itch. Only my second time trying Aladdin. Not our first choice, but convenient. When we arrived we were asked to wait to be seated because they were behind and wanted to try and catch up. Perused the menu while we waited the 15 minutes. I picked the Aladdin Favorite Combo. The meats were good, but I expected more food. The salad was half the plate. There were just a few small pieces of meat in the combo. That disappointed me for the price. The hummus app was very good. My daughter got a turkey wrap and a smoothie. She hated the smoothie, only drinking a few sips. She ate a little of the wrap. My son got the Chicken Shawarma. He said it was okay, he's likes the shawarma from a couple other places better. My wife ordered the Genie Combo and thought it was good. The hummus was the best part. The restaurant was slow which was a little frustrating. All in all I'm not rushing to go back.
