Aladdn's was our last stop before heading to the airport, I was craving fresh and healthy and they delivered in that regard. Service was friendly, restaurant was quiet on a midweek afternoon. Three of us shared a chicken shawarma rolled sandwich, a salad and Aladdin's favorite plate - everything was fresh (especially the produce) and flavorful, but I found it odd that the wrap didn't include any sort of side and the menu was laid out in such a way where there didn't appear to be an easy way to just add on fries or a side salad for my father in law. My husband had the plate and I had the salad, and really the only difference was the type of protein and the plate had rice. Very odd for a Mediterranean place not to have pita, and it wasn't suggested or offered. I would also have expected a favorite plate to include some sort of dip or spread like hummus? But the menu is large enough that it is a little overwhelming. Good lunch option, I like that they have a patio available for nice days, very clean inside.

Overall good but not great. While the hummus was good, the bread was like dry leather. The main dish was okay and more like dirty rice than Mediterranean food.

I really love this place. The food is delicious and a healthy choice. I got the small hummus plate and farmer pitza, absolutely rocking! The service is always great too. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and everyone else was welcoming. You will leave feeling powered up for the day.

The food was served in VERY generous portions and was some of the best Lebanese food I have ever had in a restaurant. Exceptional food with a menu filled with great options. Good service albeit a bit disorganized. She was attentive but forgetful. I'm assuming she was new. PS try a cup of peppermint tea. Delightful

I've eaten at one in Raleigh NC and this place was even better. The facility was very nice and clean and all tables were ready for patrons. I ordered the Small Hummus and Beef Kafta roll and they were both very flavorful. The hummus came with a ton of Pita slices and without any hot sauce but they did provide a side of hot sauce to add as needed. This was a great lunch and I will be back for another visit.

Ordered for delivery last night and were pleased with the flavors and variety. My husband got the chicken curry roll and I got the flavor savor specialty. The roll was full of flavor and was quite unique. The chicken was moist and we both really enjoyed the banana peppers. The flavor savor, though good, seemed a little lacking on portion size--massive portion of hummus, small side salad, small portion of rice, and the meat. The beef was pink inside, yet dry. Not sure the pink is normal, but I was unable to eat it since any amount of raw meat is not recommended for pregnancy. The chicken looked like it was going to be dry but I was pleasantly surprised that it was very moist. We got a slice of baklava cheesecake for dessert. It was quite good and unique. We would like to try this again in person!

Love Aladdin's. The food is always fantastic and so is the staff!! The V9 soup is a must when trying to recover from being sick.

Always good. Reasonable prices. Could be a little cleaner but ok. Service good sometimes, other times a little slow. But food is worth it.

Examples of menu items are lentil soup, babaghanoush, falafel, shepherd salad, lamb chops, many kebabs, sea bass, sautés, house-made desserts such as baklava, and non-alcoholic beverages. My husband and I ate one lunch here. Indoor and covered outdoor seating was available. The employees promptly greeted and seated us, and I appreciated that they recommended specific menu items to help me choose. After a reasonable wait, the foods were brought to our table. Here are my ratings for what we ordered: Grilled Shrimp - 5 stars - Several large, juicy shrimp were on skewers and had been perfectly cooked. Sides were mixed vegetables and a mix of rice and bulgur. Chicken Shish Kebab - 4 stars - The chunks of chicken were large and juicy and had a mild seasoning. On the side was rice pilav. Turkish Tea - 4.5 stars - This black tea was a good size and was served hot. Packets of sweeteners were available. The total price was $55 plus tax and tip.

Falafel appetizer was very, very hard and chewy. Even with a serrated knife it was difficult to cut! Shepherd Salad was fresh but was mostly red and green bell peppers. Very little tomato or cucumber or onion which I was expecting. Not their fault but mine for not knowing about this salad. Again they were super nice and offered to take it back. Donor Kebab was over cooked. Dry. Chewy. Tzatziki sauce was fine. I ordered two extra mini-cups of tzatziki to help me finish the donor kebab. (Extra $1). Bread was very good. I ordered the Turkish Tea but it never came : (

Sittay's Mediterranean Kitchen -- Greensburg, PA An…read moreUnassuming Jewel with Soul, Spice, and Serious Flavor I went into Sittay's Mediterranean Kitchen in Greensburg with my family for a casual lunch, and from the outside, this very clean, modest, and unassuming little restaurant doesn't try to shout for attention. But once you step inside, you feel it -- you know there is care here. And once the food arrives, there is absolutely no doubt about it: this place is something special. We started with the appetizer platter, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best I've ever had. The grape leaves were perfection -- tender, delicate, and layered with flavor. No bitterness, no heaviness, just beautifully seasoned, comforting bites that tasted like they were made with tradition and love. Then came the falafel, which truly shocked me. I've never been a huge fan of falafel because it's usually dry, dense, and in desperate need of drowning in sauce just to get it down. Not here. These were moist, tender, and overflowing with flavor. Honestly -- the best falafel I have ever had. The entire platter was so fresh, so vibrant, and so alive that my entire family kept going back for "just one more bite"... and then one more again. Next up were the pita wraps, and my gyro was an absolute work of art. Overflowing with perfectly seasoned meat and tucked into soft, warm pita, it was generously filled to the brim -- no skimping here. It makes perfect sense why they charge a small sharing fee because one could easily be split between two people. That said, I strongly recommend getting your own... and then taking half home for later (if you have the willpower). My sister ordered the sleek with shrimp, and WOW. I'm typically not a fan of sautéed greens -- it's usually a texture thing for me -- but this completely changed my mind. The shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked, and the greens were flavorful, balanced, and beautifully seasoned. Even as a self-proclaimed non-fan, I was blown away. One of the most memorable parts of the experience was the heart behind the counter. The ladies in the kitchen were clearly cooking with love and pride. You can taste the tradition in every bite. Our server was a bit quiet at first, but she quickly warmed up, became very helpful, and offered a recommendation that turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire meal: the seasonal Pumpkin Mamonia. Now let me explain what mamonia is for those who don't know -- because this dessert deserves its moment. Mamonia is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert, similar to a semolina pudding. It's warm, creamy, gently sweet, and infused with spices and aromatic notes like cinnamon and nutmeg. The pumpkin version at Sittay's takes this already-comforting dish and turns it into a fall masterpiece -- velvety, lightly spiced, and incredibly comforting without being overly sweet. It was, in my book, a home run... or the Mediterranean equivalent of one. Unique, cozy, elegant, and absolutely unforgettable. If it's on the menu, do not skip it. As for the baklava, the flavor was tremendous. For anyone unfamiliar, baklava is made of delicate layers of flaky phyllo dough, filled with chopped nuts (often pistachios or walnuts), then finished with a fragrant honey or sugar syrup. It's crisp on top, sticky-sweet inside, and the perfect finale to a Mediterranean meal. My only small surprise was the portion size; for $7, the piece felt a bit smaller compared to how generous everything else was throughout the lunch. That said, the seasonal baklava was divine in flavor -- rich, fragrant, and beautifully made. At the moment, Sittay's does not offer cocktails or wine. There is a tap house next door, but beer wasn't what appealed to my family that day. A simple white wine -- perhaps a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc -- would be a lovely addition and a perfect complement to their vibrant Mediterranean dishes, especially for indulgent holiday lunches with family. All in all, Sittay's is a hidden gem in Greensburg -- one of those rare places where the food, the heart, and the hospitality come together effortlessly. Make the trip. Take the time. Try something new at Sittay's. You will NOT be sorry.

The service was good! The pricing was good ! My problem is , I discovered ants in my drink! Kinda takes your taste buds out of the game when your brain says you drank bugs! Brought this to our waitress attention and she gave me another glass of of soda , that I had no intention of drinking. So we pressed on as the food was good. The waitress brought a sky tab for payment and brought more ants to the table. I called the waitress over and she apologized and took this to the owner or manager and came back to us with offering free baklava! The person in charge couldn't be bothered to come and address the situation even as we were the only people in the restaurant. I won't ever go back, even though the food was good. After standing up, I noticed VEVO insect lights plugged into every outlet around the dining room. So they know they have issues , Apparently Mediterraneans don't have people skills! Sorry! Just my experience at a restaurant of a cuisine I tried for the first time today! I wouldn't have given a negative review if this issue was addressed better! I don't blame the waitress, I blame the person in charge!

We sat down and reviewed the menu and found some cuisine that was very unique to Uzbek to share and our server informed us most of our selections were not available. That took a bit of wind out of our sails for a moment until we regrouped. We decided to start with a sampler of samsa- beef, chicken, pumpkin with tomato garlic sauce. We were all very surprised that the pumpkin was everyone's favorite with the chicken as the 2nd most flavorful. We followed that with baba ganoush with pitas. Everyone enjoyed the unique flavor of the tahini and lemon in the dip. For our main course we ordered beef shish kabobs with rice, salad and fried sliced potatoes. The beef was flavored with cumin and chili spices which worked well. I would have thought it would have a sauce but surprisingly to me, the dried spices on the fried beef were outstanding! The dressing on the salad with the rice and beef was a great combo. The decor of the dining was amazing. One wall has the name of the restaurant and holes molded out of clay or plaster with lights and clay vases on each opening. See photo. The opposite wall had plates with names of prominent cities in Uzbekistan. This place will be a hit for a long time with the attention to detail and the unique cuisine. Looking forward to my next visit when I am in Pittsburgh!
