When I got my nachos, there were a TON of onions. There were no onions listed on the menu. I'm not allergic, but I didn't want them and they were very annoying to pick out. They were everywhere and covered with cheese. Allergies can send people to the hospital. I wouldn't feel safe going there with anyone who has any food allergies. I can't trust them to put the ingredients on the menu. It's close to Costco, which is why we keep giving it more tries, but we're continually disappointed by a restaurant we used to like. There's no great Mexican food here for someone who lived in SoCal for a long time, but the used to be passable. Now, I'd recommend you avoid it. Our waiter actually told me there weren't carrots in the empanadas, but there was a language barrier. The other waiter came and explained they were in the mix. I like carrots, but not cooked carrots. And don't want meat that is mostly potatoes & carrots. They said the chicken doesn't, but 100% of the time I've tried the chicken, it's been way overcooked. The layout and decor hasn't changed and service is typically still fast (tho not tonight) & friendly. Definitely staying away for a while.
