    Gyro Sandwich
    Sarah A.

We were driving by looking for a place to get a bite and happened upon Aladin's. It is on the outer edge of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. We were welcomed in and chose a place to sit. After ordering our beverages we looked over the menu. We ordered the falafel appetizer. My husband went with the Gyro sandwich while I chose the Chicken Shawarma sandwich. We did not get the combos as we were not interested in having fries on this occasion. The falafel came out first and had a creamy dip on the side. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best falafel I have ever had. Whenever I am at a Mediterranean restaurant, I always choose to get falafel as an appetizer or on the side. They were hot and crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. So often falafel will be dry. This was not, I would absolutely get this appetizer again. My husband enjoyed his Gyro. It had the usual, meat, veg and tzaziki. We both liked the consistency of the pita bread. It wasn't super thick like some places. My sandwich was quite tasty. I would have liked a little more veg in there, but other than that it was quite good. I would like to come back and try some of their other dishes. The service was great. Our food came out swiftly. All in all, a really good experience.

A nice lunch. Service impressive. Good high quality Mediterranean food. We were welcomed immediately, told to sit anywhere. Ordered and food came out shortly. Gyro was very large and full of meat. I went with that as he said Kabobs would take 15-20 minutes to prepare. Server checked on us consistently. He even brought some complimentary mint tea at the end of the meal. The dining room is loud at 76dB. Plenty of parking in their lots.

My brother picked up Takeaway from Aladdin's Mediterranean Grill for us and we were all impressed by the quality. My husband and I split the vegetarian special and everything about it was delicious. I personally liked thr dolmades- it would've been awesome if it would've come with more than one. The pita bread was also excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

Salad, Hummus, falafel, veggie skewer with mushrooms, shrimp dinner plate with fries instead of rice. All yummy

The food here is always decent. They have really good grilled shrimp. The beef can be dry sometimes, but overall their sides are enough to go along with the proteins. The hummus is tasty. They do a lot of takeout so there's usually room to sit down if you wanted to stay. And the service is good. You get a good amount of food for the money that you pay. So overall definitely worth it to try the place if you haven't already but craving Mediterranean food.

My daughter attends the local university Colorado School of Mines and said one of her organizations had them cater a few times and they were really good. So while we were there visiting her, we went there for dinner. They are in the same strip center as the King Soopers supermarket, but in a separate row, quiet and isolated, next to the Bank of America service bank. Inside is nice decor with interesting wall art and huge pictures. One side of the restaurant is faux brick wallpapered wall with half booths. The rest of the restaurant is standard table and chairs. Our table was a bit sticky and greasy, could've used a better wipe down. There were maybe 4 tables with patrons when we came in; not too busy, but busy enough for a weekday. There were plenty of to-go orders though. Their Side Salad needed a little more lettuce to make it proportionate, but it was fresh and chockfull of tomatoes and cucumbers. Very light on the dressing, but we asked for more dressing and they brought us extra, then it was really good. They give you plenty of Pita Bread and the Hummus was delicious. Unfortunately the appetizers were the best part of the meal. We were surprised that the Beef had this sweet sauce that we didn't care for, and although ordered medium it was overcooked. It came with this spicy sauce, I guess to counterbalance the sweet meat. The Gyro meat was okay, but it was a tad too dry. Nothing special with their shrimp kabob either. The kitchen staff was obviously watching a game on tv, as it was located above their kitchen pass-through and we could see their reactions. Not sure if that is why we felt all their entrées were just okay. We had high expectations, so we were slightly disappointed, but everything was okay.

Aladdin's has some super tasty Mediterranean food. My mom and I sat in to eat at 6:30 pm on a Friday and the lobby was nearly empty. They were busy with online orders though. I ordered the Syrian Feast, and within 5 minutes of ordering the salad and veggie sides that come with the feast were in front of me, along with our pita and hummus appetizer. The hummus had a pungent taste that was different from others I've tried. The baba ghanouj was the best I have ever had, and so were the falafels. It was a massive meal and I have plenty of leftovers. Everything was very tasty, my only complaint is that the pita was a little dry. I will definitely be back to Aladdin's for some top tier Mediterranean food.

The food was amazing! Give this place a try. The service was amazing. The atmosphere is vey esthetic. You have to try this restaurant.

Very very polite service. Delicious food. Enjoyable music not too loud. Simple decor inside. Can't beat it for a decent Mediterranean meal in the area. Would definitely go back

Good gyros, salad, kebabs, and hummus (kind of smoky). Some things were a little on the sweet side, surprisingly, but still good.

I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Additionally, I was so happy to see small boutique wine from the Santa Barbara area like Amevive and A Tribute to Grace. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant. Both taste explosions, done masterfully with a sauce, color and texture. This food is truly incredible, highly recommend. I am in Denver for work, anytime I travel back to Denver I will for sure return to Safta.

Everything feels meant to be explored rather than just eaten. And the passion fruit pavlova? Absolutely get it. I am NOT a soda kind of gal, but the strawberry cardamom soda was the exception. So unexpected, refreshing, and delicious. This isn't just a place to grab something to eat--it's an experience. Go hungry, order a bunch of things, share everything, and experiment. Definitely a must-try.

And I simply couldn't think of ordering anything else but delicious food from my favorite Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill to satisfy my Medi craving. At that moment, I listened to my inner voice. Today, what I got were: -Lentils Soup -Mixed Appetizers -Sambusa Potato Lentil Soup is very simple and yet it's got some character to it. Lightly seasoned, and I probably liked it very much because of that;. Without using a lot of salt it holds a good balance of flavors mostly from the main ingredient: lentils. I waited until it was lukewarm so I could "drink" out of the container. It had a hint of lemon taste which I noticed as I slowly chugged it (lol!!) Well-made soup indeed. Sambusa Potato was exactly what I had expected. Again, not salty at all but not bland either. Good portion size. This is one of the staple items off the menu which I always order. Mixed Appetizers were quite amazing and this is now my favorite dish. The restaurant was so generous. They put more than enough pita bread slices for it. They certainly don't know how to be stingy (lol!) This restaurant continues to perform well where they have never been bad or even mediocre.

We ordered a koobideh sandwich with fries, an Adana kebab plate with baba ghanoush, and a salad. My husband asked if we could have a traditional Turkish shepherd's (çoban) salad, but instead we received a few slices of tomato and cucumber served alongside a single skewer of beef. To make matters worse, the koobideh and Adana turned out to be the exact same kebab. When we asked, the server confirmed they were essentially the same item with different names. The baba ghanoush was served by itself with nothing to eat it with. When we requested bread, we were given a microwaved pita and charged an additional $3. Our total bill was $39, which might sound reasonable, but the value simply wasn't there. The server repeatedly mentioned how understaffed they were, there was no traditional Turkish salad on the menu, and dips were served without bread unless you paid extra. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. There are much better places in Denver to spend your money.
