Top notch service but mediocre food! I've had shawarmas before and the one I had out here was subpar. There were barely any flavors and the pita was way too dry. We were a group of 6 and honestly the only good dish I had here was my friends lamb kebab - they were juicy and fresh and flavorful. Everyone else's food was very subpar. I probably will not dine here again. Mint tea was alright and Turkish coffee was okay - I've had better before. Again - I want to reiterate the service here was great! We were driving by looking for a place to get a bite and happened upon Aladin's. It is on the outer edge of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. We were welcomed in and chose a place to sit. After ordering our beverages we looked over the menu. We ordered the falafel appetizer. My husband went with the Gyro sandwich while I chose the Chicken Shawarma sandwich. We did not get the combos as we were not interested in having fries on this occasion. The falafel came out first and had a creamy dip on the side. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best falafel I have ever had. Whenever I am at a Mediterranean restaurant, I always choose to get falafel as an appetizer or on the side. They were hot and crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. So often falafel will be dry. This was not, I would absolutely get this appetizer again. My husband enjoyed his Gyro. It had the usual, meat, veg and tzaziki. We both liked the consistency of the pita bread. It wasn't super thick like some places. My sandwich was quite tasty. I would have liked a little more veg in there, but other than that it was quite good. I would like to come back and try some of their other dishes. The service was great. Our food came out swiftly. The food here is always decent. They have really good grilled shrimp. The beef can be dry sometimes, but overall their sides are enough to go along with the proteins. The hummus is tasty. They do a lot of takeout so there's usually room to sit down if you wanted to stay. And the service is good. You get a good amount of food for the money that you pay. My brother picked up Takeaway from Aladdin's Mediterranean Grill for us and we were all impressed by the quality. My husband and I split the vegetarian special and everything about it was delicious. I personally liked thr dolmades- it would've been awesome if it would've come with more than one. The pita bread was also excellent. I look forward to my next visit. read more

My daughter attends the local university Colorado School of Mines and said one of her organizations had them cater a few times and they were really good. So while we were there visiting her, we went there for dinner. They are in the same strip center as the King Soopers supermarket, but in a separate row, quiet and isolated, next to the Bank of America service bank. Inside is nice decor with interesting wall art and huge pictures. One side of the restaurant is faux brick wallpapered wall with half booths. The rest of the restaurant is standard table and chairs. Our table was a bit sticky and greasy, could've used a better wipe down. There were maybe 4 tables with patrons when we came in; not too busy, but busy enough for a weekday. There were plenty of to-go orders though. Their Side Salad needed a little more lettuce to make it proportionate, but it was fresh and chockfull of tomatoes and cucumbers. Very light on the dressing, but we asked for more dressing and they brought us extra, then it was really good. They give you plenty of Pita Bread and the Hummus was delicious. Unfortunately the appetizers were the best part of the meal. We were surprised that the Beef had this sweet sauce that we didn't care for, and although ordered medium it was overcooked. It came with this spicy sauce, I guess to counterbalance the sweet meat. The Gyro meat was okay, but it was a tad too dry. Nothing special with their shrimp kabob either. The kitchen staff was obviously watching a game on tv, as it was located above their kitchen pass-through and we could see their reactions. Solid, solid, solid. That was my experience at Aladdin's. Ordered the kafta plate for lunch and thought the salad, rice, and texture of the kafta was average and expected. The flavor from the kafta was good and enjoyed the thin pita to go with the meal. Hot sauce is slightly odd and almost tastes like a form of buffalo which doesn't quite go with the meal. We happened upon this place while all the way across Denver from our normal and it was exactly the right choice. This cute creature runner restaurant in a strip was so good. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and very quick with our food. The salad was super refreshing, the hummus delicious and the pita warm. We got the falafel as an appetizer and the are perfectly done. My ground beef kebabs were fantastic and the chicken Kafka was so well done it fell right off the bone. Aladdin's has some super tasty Mediterranean food. My mom and I sat in to eat at 6:30 pm on a Friday and the lobby was nearly empty. They were busy with online orders though. I ordered the Syrian Feast, and within 5 minutes of ordering the salad and veggie sides that come with the feast were in front of me, along with our pita and hummus appetizer. The hummus had a pungent taste that was different from others I've tried. The baba ghanouj was the best I have ever had, and so were the falafels. It was a massive meal and I have plenty of leftovers. Everything was very tasty, my only complaint is that the pita was a little dry. Showed up with the family for lunch few weeks after my initial review, which I feel I must amend, I ordered the Kafta Kabab wrap (about $10) which I found to contain alot of lettuce and other greens but very little of the Kafta Kabab, in reality no more than 2 bites contained meat, the rest of was very expensive lettuce wrap. We were craving Mediterranean food, and our friends wanted to return to Aladdin's, so this was an anticipated dinner site. It turned out to be just an average experience. It's located in a Golden shopping mall with plenty of parking. It's table service, and they seat you upon entry. There's some nice artwork and a video loop on a giant screen TV, and the place has a good feel. The noise level inside was acceptable, despite two nearby tables of young families. The table service was mediocre, and I never felt fully engaged with our server, who seemed distracted and left the table a couple of times without getting all four individuals' needs or updates. Subsequently, the two sides of the table were sometimes on a different schedule, particularly with drinks. Our appetizers were a hit and a miss, as the french fries were served colder than I'd like, and the tzatziki/pita was delicious. I tried to make the fries (which I anticipated would be thicker, more traditional Greek) work by dipping them in tzatziki, but they weren't warm enough to enjoy fully. My gyro wrap sandwich order was good, a large portion plentiful with Gyro beef, tomatoes, and tasty tzatziki. My partner loved her shrimp dish. Finally found a true meditation restaurant on the west side of town--so so good! We had the Aladdin appetizer plate, all four dips were delicious. My husband had the lamb rack and Greek salad, would highly recommend both (never miss a Greek salad, especially here). I had the lentil soup and gyro salad, and our friend had the veggie platter. What a pleasant find! This place is located in an unassuming shopping center and had plenty of parking. We both got lunch specials(they have it through the weekend ) with an appetizer. My husband had the Shawarma lunch and enjoyed it very much, especially when you pack it all into a pita. Their spicy sauce was a little tangy with the right amount of spice. Holy smokes, this is for sure my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Denver. The vibe is like a fast food cafeteria, but the plates are huge and the quality of food is outstanding. Their pita is fluffy, they are generous in their baba ghanoush, hummus, and tzatziki sauce servings, and I don't typically care for stuffed grape leaves but they make them elegantly here. Light, thin, and comes with lettuce that nicely compliments the flavor. I got the gyro Mediterranean salad with fried pita (like croutons), and it was insanely yummy. My partner got chicken and steak skewers and they were tender and full of spiced flavor. We were very full but ordered baklava - flawlessly executed! This place is sooo yummy.
