I lived in Castro Valley on Wisteria Street. These drivers come down Wisteria Street Monday through Saturday 5 times a day starting at 4am all the way until 6:45am. WHAT KINDA CRAP IS THIS! They are coming 6 days a week up to 5 times a day------WHO DOES THAT? Either the scheduler or dispatcher is a dummy or the Manager one, but somebody needs to be accountable for this. They are disturbing this poor neighborhood relentlessly. I have my own theory which is they are trying to drive out the minorities in this area because I have a hard time believing that anyone can be that STUPID and inconsiderate. There are children and seniors living in this area who can't get a good night's sleep because of this industry. I felt so sick living in this area from lack of sleep. The worst service ever. They are a monopoly. We don't have a choice of who to use for garbage. The customer service is non existent . They fail to pick up my cans. I call they don't apologize. If I'm lucky they show up the next day. They raised my rates $40 each billing cycle. Who gets a raise like that All for bad service. They are thieves read more

Their drivers need to retake a commercial driving class and relearn time space. Most of the drivers are so unsafe. Unfortunately it will take a fatality for anyone to notice. read more

This company is horrible. So much attitude and horrible service. Picture one was after Christmas week. THEY LEFT TRASH ALL OVER THE ROAD. Are you serious? This is what we pay you for? Trash people leave the bins in front of the driveway so we can't pull out. Picture 2 I guess they didn't want to take it so they crumbled it up and filled one trash can. So we are down a trash can. This place doesn't even deserve a star but I have to click one. I live between two apartment complexes and I get woke up every other day INCLUDING SATURDAYS at 5 o clock in the morning from these stupid loud trucks that dump huge metal dumpsters and back up with their super loud beepers all the way down the driveway. It wakes up my entire family and we all wake up irritable because of it. Ruins our mornings on a constant basis. Called them and they won't do anything about it because they say their workers are allowed to start early. Where is the consideration? This company is obviously managed by ignorant idiots. Never used to have this problem when we had Waste Management and now we are forced to use this GARBAGE garbage company read more

This has to be the worst garbage service ever. The fact that I'm actually taking the time to write a review? On garbage service??? These guys are picky about the bins. Green bin is open by an inch, Nope - won't take it. Garbage too heavy? nope. recycling batteries? Nope. Blue bin is open because the homeless have been rummaging through it? Nope. And then I tried to drop off the battery from my computer UPS and they refused it because it wasn't "residential" e-waste. WTF??? WTF do I pay these @$$holes for??? I have to then put this !@#% in the back of my truck and then pay $$$ at the landfill to dump black + green + recycle. !@#% you!!! - you're making SURE I don't give a !@#% about recycling or green bin anymore. From now on I'm just throwing everything in the black bin. Save my time having to roll out three bins. read more

On November 11th at 4:48 A.M. As I was driving north on Doolittle drive going to the Oakland airport, a dump truck driver was tailgating me. I took a picture of the truck to document his dangerous driving habits. I have 3 other pictures of ACI drivers on their phones and a video of a driver as he is turning in front of my house. I have had poor results in dealing with customer service, when I have asked to speak to a higher supervisor i'm being told there is no other supervisor. I am forced to turn to YEPL. read more

ACI is the best Garbage company ever. When they missed a pick up I do not have to call them, they just come back next day and serviced the containers. The customer service is excellent, they always returned the calls, follow up in any request. When I called for something they already have the records of the previous call. I have to deal with Waste Management and they are the worst company. read more

I have been an ACI customer here in San Leandro for maybe about eight years. Can't say anything bad about them. As a matter of fact the two or three times I've an issue or problem it was resolved without any question immediately. Twice (in 8 years) my garbage or recycling wasn't picked up. Gave them a call the next day, they picked it up right away. Another time I underpaid a bill by seven cents, got an automated letter, and when I called they were really sympathetic and we laughed about how silly computers can be. Every time i need to change can sizes they do it seamlessly. Now that I think about it, they are pretty awesome... I order a free bin each year to load with junk, they've taken a refrigerator from my curb on annual junk day for us, and my husband takes advantage of the free compost now and then. They send out great literature on what to recycle and what to compost. Thanks ACI. read more

Since when does the garbage truck driver determine whether he will pick up you trash or not! The staff is enormously unhelpful. When asked to speak to a manager you are put on hold until you give up waiting! The can must have fallen into the truck. The driver just took off. To get a new can was a nightmare and I was told this is a warning! Really!!!! read more

We went in to the Office on Aladdin and the receptionist was so curt and acted as if we were upsetting her day just by being there. This is the one who answers the phone and her personality isn't any better. If I was that unhappy on my job I would look for some thing else to do and it doesn't say much for the managment that keep this woman in the first impression of your company position. read more
