    Sad excuse for a dessert

I hate writing this review but we don't know how else to express our incredible disappointment in one of Alamos newer desserts. My husband and I have an Alamo season pass and we just went to see a new movie and ordered the "Tony's chocolate lil' bits" and the audacity of Alamo baffles me. It is package candy similar to whoppers. It's $8 for a package of candy where as you can get a plate of warm chocolate cookies for $9. The description is so miss leading. I honestly don't even know what they were thinking adding this to a dessert menu. It's simply mind blowing. Overall don't waste your money on a bag of cheap candy listed as a dessert.

There are movie theaters, and then there's Alamo Drafthouse. This is the vibiest movie these in the history of ever. The food options are plentiful and unique but for me, the star of the show is the bottomless popcorn with REAL butter along with the bottomless sodas. The staff is ready to serve and the seats recline so you're nice and comfy while watching your movie. Also, they have special screenings and sing-a-longs that are pretty cool as well but it's Master Pancake Theater that sets this place apart from every theater. Please go try a movie at this place if it's in your city.

A bit disappointed. Spent $35 for two tickets for a 7pm Monday movie. The seats did not have warmers or a server button. But they did have funky, scratched up head rests. And it was super cold in the theater. We had to wait until the server came around for help. Seems the buttons are a bit more efficient but this theater didn't offer those. A burger was $19 not including drink. S'why u see tha water!! And portions were so small for the price. So around $80 total for two. We'll stay home and order off Amazon from now on. Coulda bought a new release and gotten decent take out for $60... and stayed under the blankets in our tempurpedic!! I did like the quiet policies so few kids.

I tried out the experience today with the moving chairs, Very different. Tickets are reasonable, theaters always clean, and restrooms are clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Please keep up the good work. It even inspired me to leave a review on IMDB of the movie I watched today. "Moana" 2026 Live action movie. First excellent beyond comparison. The live action movie was a masterpiece.Just as good as the animated version, if not better. I saw so many negative comments and reviews before watching this movie. Everyone who put in those negative reviews and comments need to check their heart like "Maui". A very beautiful cast of people. Made me feel so family friendly. This is a multi generational classic movie. The Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson did an excellent job in this movie and he has always been "Maui" . Once this movie gets to digital home release, I will be one of the first to buy it. I just wanna say thank you, "You're Welcome" Skip the negativity and bad reviews. Please enjoy this movie while it's still in the movie theaters.

This is ridiculous. I'm assuming the manager is not trained well or lost the paper with the contact information. This theater didnt make an accident report when my wife fell with the theater stairs. There was no lighting for your feet when using the stairs during the movie. It was dark, and she fell and busted up her knee. She didn't want to make a commotion and waited for the movie to be over, and we reported it right after. The attendant contacted a manager we spoke to him about it. I stated that I have seen theaters with lighting with the stairs, but didn't see that here, and that my wife busted up her knee. Wanted to report it for documentation. He said ok and left to go get something. We thought he was getting an incident/accident form to fill out, and all he brought was blank paper and a pen. Had her leave her name and number. He did offer an ambulance and a band-aid, but nothing else. He didn't offer her a chair when she was showing pain standing. He said someone would contact her the next day. No one has called about it. With a big chain like this, there is usually a protocol for accidents and forms to fill out for liability, and there was nothing. I don't know if he wasn't trained well or they didn't take it seriously. My wife is still in pain, and in the picture that I'm attaching is all the bruising that is developing. I dont recommend this theater especially for safety concerns.

First, a quick parking PSA: the app to pay for parking is kind of a nightmare, and the questionable WiFi did not exactly help the situation. Save yourself the frustration and just find easy street parking if you can. Your future self will thank you. Now onto the show. Maybe my expectations were the problem, but I was imagining something like incredible space visuals synced with the album, a true planetarium experience that would make you feel like you were floating through the universe. Instead, it was a lot of repetitive visuals with a sort of attempted kaleidoscope Steampunk vibe that never quite landed for me. At one point during the show, I honestly thought, "Maybe this was created by a university student as a cool student project." And honestly, if that were the case, I would have thought it was a pretty solid effort. Then I found out this is a national release and I was a little confused. That said, plenty of people in the theater seemed to be enjoying it, so maybe I am just being a little picky. Perhaps years of living in places like San Francisco and New York have made me a slightly spoiled arts snob who needs to lower my expectations. But also... do I really want to???? (ummmm...thinking "no" I do not want to) The good news is the tickets were only around $20 to $40 a seat, so it was still a reasonably priced night out. I am glad I tried it, but I probably would not rush back for another one.
