A few manipulations of the hips by hand, paired with a few gentle percussions in some key locations did make a notable difference. After leaving the office then going into work shortly after I could feel a difference in each stride intensity of the pain decreased from a 6-7 to about a 5 in the hip. My neck adjustments helped me feel clearer headed all day. I will say their posted hours are confusing in comparison to times I'm scheduled outside posted hours. Perhaps it's "last call" for first time walk ins. He takes 6 X-rays, does the thorough assessment of range of motion/stability. Which he noted my TMJ during, I forgot this when filling out my patient intake. To be honest I've been living with TMJ so long my brain tunes it. She instantly picked up on my mental state and was able to calm me down. She assured me that she understood what I was going through and would be able to help. She gave me a realistic time range to see results. It was much longer than I had hoped for, but she was spot on. The x-ray of my neck revealed what we needed to address. I saw her twice a week in the beginning. The results came gradual as she told me they would. I saw them increase even more when she added in new techniques, like how to use Kenesio tape. I wasn't a fan of the Dennerol, but found the more I used it the more results I got. I was really impressed with how she listened to what I was saying about my pain and how it changed from each visit. She easily found ways to adjust the treatments as needed. Every suggestion she made, helped. After the first couple of months I was able to reduce my appointments to once a week and then every other week. I was able to add weights to my workouts which strengthened my muscles around my pinched nerves in my neck. I saw even more progress. I loved going to her office because not only did she provide excellent care, but she is so easy to talk to. I shared my lower back surgery stories and the frustration I had dealing with that damaged nerve. I was convinced it was permanent damage, but she said, "Oh no, I can help you with that, too!" And that she did. She started using the Activator on my full spine. It's such an effective tool and my favorite! It's 2 years later and I'm shocked when I think about my first visit compared to where I am now. I don't go as often as I did in the beginning but I always look forward to my next visit. In seconds she can feel my back and know exactly what she needs to target. It's a gift few Chiropractors have. I don't have to keep going back. I want to keep going back. Her knowledge, her experience, her creativity, her leadership and her amazing people skills make every visit worth every penny. I have learned that as I age, my neck will get worse and more discs may deteriorate requiring more surgeries. It is unfortunate to see a business respond this way rather than addressing the concerns being raised.
