Hey this place may not look like much from the outside but it's so nice and clean on the inside! What's an added bonus? Their employees are nice, friendly and fast! My work buddies heard about this place so we decided to go check it out. I have to warn you that the portions are enormous and the prices are cheap! They even have a salsa bar with 3 types of salsa's (2 red and 1 green) and pickles carrots/jalapenos. My favorite one is the light red salsa. Don't let the light color fool you though..it's packed with lots of flavor and spice. I could LITERALLY drink it! Here's what we ordered: Buddy A: Carne Asada Nachos Crunchy tortilla chips with loads of carne asada, guacamole and sour cream Buddy B: Chili Verde Burrito Huge tortilla, bite sized pork pieces, beans, rice and chili verde with guacamole and sour cream on the side with a ton of verde sauce poured over the burrito And finally my order: Chicken taquitos special (XL drink included) 5 taquitos served with a mound of lettuce/cheese smothered with guacamole and a dollop of sour cream Since finding this place, my buddies and I have been back on many occasions! You should definitely check it out. The 4 star was based on the dining area since it is a bit small. Food is ok , I waited 15 minutes for a simple carne Asada torta, the guy behind me walked in the kitchen walked talked to the employees (while in plain clothes ) came out and order after me , his huge order some how came out before me . ... Im a regular at this restaurant one block away from my work .Went thru the drive thru and there was a mix up on my order. Order the crunchy shredded beef tacos plate and was give some type of chicken tacos with red salsa . There were suppose to be crunchy tacos but there was so much liquid from the chicken there were all soggy. Call back to the restaurant and ask to get my meal replace since I go there so much . They toss the phone around between workers till some manager name Rosie answer . Talk to her and ask if I could get my meal replace next time I go in like a few days . She said yes but U have to bring back the food even though it's going to be days which is crazy I not holding on to food for days I'll just take a loss .. this place is ok recommended driving accross the street to the real Alberto's . I hated this Albertos. The "salsa" was watered down Tabasco. The service was awful. Go to the one in Colton they are a million times better the man sitting behind me heard my complaints and told me he made a mistake coming here again. Don't go here. read more

The following review is for the Alanbertos on North Waterman in San Bernardino which does not seem to have it's own Yelp page. Me and a friend were cruising down the streets of San Bernardino late at night looking for our last meal for that day. As her eyes gazed into the streets and scenery that were in front her windshield, she mentioned that the city looked rather calm and not as bad as I had made it out to be. And yes, I would have to admit that the darkness of the night, the shadows of the trees, and lack of locals made the city look more like a friendly old Labrador than the dying rabid mutt of a city which it truly is. *heart* We drove to a few locations, getting rejected by either the employees who were busy trying to clean and close the restaurants so they could get back home to their bitchy spouses, or the signs at the doors that reminded me that I should either move to Vegas or get used to eating at Denny's if I wish to continue having dinner at these ungodly hours. We drove a bit longer into the night until we spotted what we thought was an Albertos that had an open late sign. We pulled in to the drive thru of the ALANbertos, which happens to be located a block or two from where I reside, and drove up to the drive thru menu. I stuck to something familiar and ordered a California Burrito, which includes all the good stuff in a regular carne asada burrito with added potato and melted cheddar cheese. My friend ordered the fiesta "carne adada" fries. The misspelling of the word "asada" made me question the authenticity of this "mexican" food joint for a moment. I was surprised when I received my order and saw that the portions were very traditionally Mexican. By that I mean that they were huge. Having come from a Mexican household my mother always tried to feed me 2-3 times what a normal person should eat. The burrito was not the best I've ever had, but good none the less and there was enough leftovers for what later became breakfast. I came here for lunch using their drive thru. This place is essentially an Alberto's which is right across the street. I couldn't tell if there was any difference between the two menus. I got the five rolled tacos which had gucamole, sour cream, cheese and lettuce on top. It was good but they had a lot more sour cream than gucamole. Service was fast and friendly. The place isn't in the best I neighborhoods so use the drive thru if you happen to be by at night. read more

i went today to Albertos to get a breakfast burrito cuz I seen there $2.99 sign, well the girl "Zaira" was very rude! when I asked to speak to the manager "Domingo" he didn't even want to come to speak to me. This place is unprofessional, I know that it's in the ghetto,but even in the ghetto you get a simple service without rudeness. I asked the girl Zaira 3 times what they had for the $2.99 burrito and she kept telling me with a rude voice to just look at the menu. She could just have told me, I was in a hurry. RUDE! We love the break fast burrito here! We have to watch our salt intake for our health. The Alberto across the street put so much salt in our orders several times eating there. We went to Alanberto's on 5th st., and the staff is nice. Rosie, the cashier and front worker can multi-task like no one's business, nice personality. The food is made to order, and you eat inside or outdoor s. We love it here , due to not having to eat exteme salty food, which takes away from the true flavor. The cooks are great too. read more

Alanbertos is ok. It' looks pretty grungy inside and the wait was soooo long. The food is good just hope you're not pressed for time, and it's not as good as Alberto's, but it's good enough. I had a carnita burrito. My friend had the carne asada nachos. They were both good. If Alberto's was closer to my job I would go there instead. read more

This place has the I.E.'s best kept secret. Try the Spanish Omelette combo, BIG omelette filled with ham, cheese, tomatoes and onions. Comes with beans and rice AND two big homemade flour tortillas (you can get corn tortillas if you like) and it's tasty. I'm a big eater and I'm stuffed after I devour this. How much you ask? Went there to the drive thru for our 30 min l lunch break today expecting to be in and out in a reasonable time , but instead was held up in the drive thru for mostly all our break. After we received our food we didn't have time to eat because we had to rush back to work to clock in because lunch was now over. Very disappointed in the fact that there was no manager on duty today and there won't be one until tomorrow. Horrible service. People don't even know English. They gave me the wrong order and would not refund me because they said they gave me what I ordered and after showing them I didn't they gave me half ass food. Their food isn't that bad pretty descent but after driving all the way over there to get my order right, their service did not satisfy me. We have tried a lot of items on the menu and EVERYTHING has been GREAT! Their prices are reasonable, the food is always hot & fresh and I never have to wait long either! Highly recommend this place. I've always loved Alberto's...but this specific one has the worst customer service!. Drive thru cashier is rude and doesn't know how to pay attention. I've repeated my order 3 times and it was only 2 burritos and carne asada fries I tried to order! She kept repeating "just one burrito right?" I mean it's not that hard to pay attention! And there were 3 cars in front of me, waiting for food I wanna say I was waiting for 15 minutes already. So I recommend allenbertos right across the street.
