The fellas are always nice. The fried shrimp and fish is always fried perfectly. Steak fries and coleslaw are always my go to for the sides. There is a freezer full of food and a fresh fish counter. They also have plenty drinks including about 6 or more different flavors of koolaid. The line can get long at peak times so you can order ahead and get in the pickup line. There are 2 lines. I really enjoyed this place! The combo of two fish, shrimp, fries, and a side of coleslaw was fresh and very reasonable for $15.99. I had Whiting and although I can tell Whiting is not popularly fried because it may be there a little longer, it was good definitely not as popular as catfish, but the shrimp and fries were good and not greasy. I also like their fresh fish options. I purchased salmon from there and it was better than any I've bought in the grocery store wrapped in plastic or on ice. It taste really good and fresh and I had it in the refrigerator for 2 1/2 days. They also have catered lemon pound cake. This location is clean and it doesn't smell fishy. The little young guy was a little annoying to me being on his cell phone not being fully attentive at the front register, but unfortunately that's what a lot of young people are doing today. Pretty cool place! Buy fish raw and cook yourself or choose from menu items and walk out with something ready to eat. Everything is pretty affordable too! I got combo #3 and chose the perch and substituted the hush puppies for the fries. The hush puppies were delicious! Perch was very tasty as well. The workers are also super nice and accommodating! Meals come with fries, a drink and the tastiest cole slaw. They carry cheesecake from Peteet's. Prices are cheap, you can feed a family here without much money. Doesn't look much when you walk by don't sleep on it! They have quite a lot to offer. Instead of restaurant, this is actually a seafood market. They sell various types of fish--catfish, tilapia, salmon, whiting, perch, orange roughy, red snapper, white bass cod--the list goes on and on. They also have shrimp, crawfish, mussels, and such. In addition, they sell some hot sauces and some basic Southern pantry ingredients. Now their menu really is their cooked food items, but as the name they also have chicken tenders and wings. There is no dine in place so it's takeout only. Would highly recommend to order beforehand so you can just pickup. Otherwise it can be quite a wait because they seem to have a lot of orders in line. We ordered one of the combo menu. I forgot specifically which one but it has fish, chicken, shrimp, and also comes with fries. All the proteins are fried to crisp, but still maintains its juiciness. They have various sauces but I think extra sauce cost extra. One thing though, I'm not impressed at all with the fries as they lack flavor and is not crispy at all though not to a point of being soggy. Price is reasonable read more

I started placing my order (I had three different combos I was trying to order) after every freaking sentence, he yells in the phone "is that it"? NO! I'll tell you when when I'm done ordering! Once I was finished, I asked him to repeat back my order since he was talking so fast...I wanted to make sure he got everything. He cuts me off mid sentence, repeats the order, gives me a ticket number and says "we got it" then hung up the phone like I irritated him for asking to confirm my order. Seriously? Bad service will lose my business no matter how "good" the food is. I'll just stick to Nu Wave and Captain Jays up the street. read more
