*STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE* I went in to switch my brakes I asked him to tell me which brakes were bad he said I needed to change my front so I trusted him and once again a dishonest mechanic strikes again. I showed up the next morning and he said that he test drove my truck and that it was fine which was a LIE because my truck is undriveable and grinding on my roters. So $220.00 dollars later my truck is in worse conditions than when I took it there. As I was leaving he says " don't drive a car if you can't afford one". He's lucky I didn't wanna ruin his day. It's a bit hidden between a car wash and some other buildings, but don't let appearances fool you, at the end of the day you'll get a lot more for your money. Albert is very friendly and he is a seasoned technician mechanic who knows his stuff., he always tried to get me the best deal on the labor and repair parts, and he is always taking into consideration my schedule and budget, no hidden charges or unnecessary repairs, and I appreciate that. I was referred by a friend of mine who had body damage from a car accident. The insurance covered her repairs and her car came out looking as good as the day she bought it. I live in San Pedro we have plenty of body shops down here. I remembered what a great job they did with her car so when I had an accident in November 2018 I checked around San Pedro but in the end I went to Albert high Tech in North Hollywood and I am so glad that I did go there. Albert and his staff treated me with respect like a family. He explained to me what they were going to do and how the insurance adjuster's work. He explained to me how much time it would probably take and I was a little put off by that. I didn't understand app at the time why it would take 8 to 10 weeks except that there was a lot of damage to my car. Now I understand that some of the damage could not be seen until the car was pretty much completely taken apart and would need a second adjuster to see it once it was taken apart. Eight weeks later I got my car back it was completely detailed, aligned, it ran as good as the day I bought it. read more

Albert explains and shows you exactly what needs to be done, and is patient with whatever questions you might have. The work is done quickly and efficiently and is priced fairly. On this visit I had to replace the 12 volt battery but I also did an oil change, which included a fluid check/top off and a free (!) car wash. Albert warrantees what he's done, a big plus, which eliminates worry; particularly with an older car. I wouldn't bring my 2003 Prius anywhere else. read more

So, I needed an oil change and a car wash so I went here. It was a little more for my 6 cylinder, but it was still cheaper than the cost of those two things separately. I liked the reviews and the people working there were really nice. I will definitely go back and refer my friends. It's behind the little car wash, so look for it, not necessarily easy to find. I walked into Albert's because of a $25 Oil Change sign. My father is an auto-mechanic and I have always been skeptical about having other people touch my car. Albert's mechanics were more than helpful, he knew what he was talking about and went above and beyond to help me. I drive a VW Beetle and wanted a regular oil change, even though I knew my car uses synthetic oil, he informed me this was not good for my car and went ahead and used synthetic oil at no-charge. He also gave my entire car a check to make sure I was driving away with everything I needed. The prices are AMAZING, $25 for an oil change + a FREE car wash and $10 to rotate my tires. I will defiantly be going back to Albert High Tech and will recommend it to everyone! read more

This is an amazing auto shop! The staff is honest and highly knowledgeable. I started going there for oil changes since they have such a good price but I have also went there to get a huge dent on my car fixed and they had the best price out of all the mechanics I went to. I recently had an issue with my power steering and they were able to fix the problem without charging me hundreds of dollars for several auto replacements, when most auto shops would have just ripped me off. I was beginning to sense that my previous mechanic in Canoga Park was being dishonest with me with my car repairs, being a single woman not knowing about car repairs. I spent lots of money on my car repairs and after every 2 months, something would be wrong with my car again and for different issues all the time. My ex-husband and a friend had to help me foot the bills of my car repair since I ran out of money to pay the car repairs and that mechanic would not even accept credit cards unless I pay more from the bill which is outrageous. Then, to make my long story short, I brought my car again to the previous mechanic and that time, he said that my transmission had to be rebuilt for $800.00. Wow! I didn't have the money so in the meantime, he said I could drive it but not on the freeway and I would have to go to his shop every week to check on the transmission oil which was very inconvenient, time consuming for me and so very stressful. Anyway, a friend of mine referred me to Albert High Tech for second opinion. The moment he drove the car, he had told me that there was nothing wrong with my transmission. OMG! Can you imagine if I had the $800.00 to pay my previous mechanic, I would have been ripped off for believing again that my previous mechanic had rebuilt the transmission but not really do it and it confirmed to me that the reason my car was always breaking down because I was paying for the supposedly jobs that he made me believe that he did. Anyway, back to Albert, he and his mechanics inspected my car, did the tune up, replaced the EGR valve, and my car runs greatnow, feels like new. In the past, when I drove my car up the hill or enter the freeway, my car would be slow but after Albert fixed my car, my car now has power & drives fast when I drive it up the hill and when I drive it entering the freeway. I am so happy that my friend referred me to Albert. He is an honest guy not taking advantage of a single woman who knows nothing about car repairs unlike my previous one. I pay for what he says what the job was really done. Albert could have also been dishonest with my by saying that my transmission needed to be fixed, replaced or rebuilt but he didn't do that to me as he is an honest guy with good work. fast and quick. car wash was ok. they give you a coupon at tujunga car wash which is right around the corner (average price of about 10 bucks) for the wash. you can upgrade from just a normal car was to a full on one for 20 bucks more... the free car wash does not clean the inside or anything in your car, just the exterior hand wash. 25 bucks and just a free exterior wash is ok. the dude who tells you which wash you want was kind of rude though. read more

He's honest, and trustworthy, which is very rare these days with the majority of auto repair places that are only in it for making a fast and inflated buck, with no concern of the future, and having repeat and loyal customers. I've encountered this many, many times over the years. With Albert, he will tell you the full truth about your cars concerns, never recommending services it does not need. I had my front brakes replaced on one visit, and he told me the rear brakes were worn, but had at least 8000+ miles to go before they needed replacing. Any other shop would have told me to replace them now just to make the money. That's a perfect example of honesty.... Also, his prices are very fair for the repairs and service performed, and he's always been polite, respectful and friendly. A true professional.
